But honestly, there are so many gorgeous shades of blue. In this video, I'll be focusing on some darker blue inks. Which of these is your favourite? 💙

I really like Diamine Midnight as my blue-black ... but that Tokyo Denim Blue looks really nice too!
Of those you swatched I think the Tokyo Blue Denim was my favorite.

Thank you! I haven't written with Petrol Dark a lot, but so far I would say it behaves pretty averagely. It's definitely not as dry as some of the other Inkebara inks.
I have a whole bottle of Shimoyo, and I’m only learning TODAY that its sheens 😂
Sheen is an interesting characteristic, as depending on the type of paper or the thickness of the lines it might not show up at all. Shimoyo sheens a LOT more in a swatch than in writing 😅

Thank you for watching! I store my inks in a drawer unit under my desk, so they're in the dark. For my sample vials I use a vial rack now, because they kept falling over whenever I opened the drawer.
Hello. I really struggled to see the inks most of the time on this video as it was quite zoomed out. It was great when you zoomed in but otherwise the writing is too small (i wear specks) and the ink too dense to really catch the hue. Sorry to be such a whiner but I would have found this immensely useful if it had been closer. Great selection though
No need to apologise at all! This is definitely valuable feedback. I will probably finish the rest of the series in the same way (as most of the recordings are already done), but I have some ideas for more in-depth, zoomed-in ink explorations/comparisons for the future.
