I love all the purple (my 2nd favourite colour after green) I believe I own 8 of your selection. My favourites are Imperial Purple, Lavender Frost, Sydney Lavender & Violet Clouds 💜💜

I wonder what you would think of Sailor's Chushu from their Shikiori line. It's a very desaturated purple to the point that a lot of places online categorize it as a gray. I really like it!

I just fell in love with a sample of Robert Oster The Great Owl and will be looking for a dupe. Perhaps that Diamine Vivaldi?

I was so happy to see this video pop up today. I see some favorites and some new ones. Damson is underrated. Imperial Purple was my first purple and I agree with you. I plan to buy a bottle of Queen Allium.

I have two notebooks for work, one discbound, the other a daily notebook for the TASKS I’ve done today and will do tomorrow. I rely on calendar heavily. I block my calendar for all meetings and time sensitive tasks. In addition, I have a pocket notebook where I put down daily timelines (on what did I spend my time) from the front and use the back pages as my “write everything down” inbox (currently it’s a Murdy No7 with looseleaf paper)

The sound of the catapulted finial clattering away made me laugh so much 😂 The frankenpen looked very good in the end, I agree that the pink+purple just didn't fit well together.

Always fun to hear your planner thoughts :) Sorry the PaperTess isn't working out for you, but sometimes we do have to just try things out before we can see if works for us, so no regrets! :) In my work, every day is different with no real deadlines as it is an engineering support role. I do have a schedule though, so I only use a Hobonichi Weekly Supplement believe it or not! Compact and easy to carry around :) Contrarily, my personal planning has three books! :D

Even though you didn’t have a specific colour palette in mind, I love how muted all the colours you chose are! 😍 Not surprisingly, I love the green. Surprisingly, I’m really drawn to that purple!

While last month was very bright and saturated, this month is much more calm. I love both! When you swatch the Diamine Summer Sunset I kinda wonder if it would be too light. Then it dries to a darker undertone -- I breathe my sigh of relief haha. That Journal this Be-leaf is 😍 The swatch color looks very complex on the screen. Seems like next year I really need to heavily consider buying Be-leaf and Laugh&dare during DPS. Really love love this month's lineup, thanks for sharing!

Love the simplistic layouts you do, Ru! They're aesthetic and functional without being too much - especially for a pre-filled type of planner. Congrats on the new job! I wish my job gave me as much free time at home! So happy to hear how much joy it brings you to write in your journals every day and the pandas...omg they are so cute!!! I need some panda themed washi, stickers, or magnetic pins for my leather journals.

Chatty planner updates are my favorite so this was just up my alley. Thank you for the video. And congratulatiosn on the new job, which is also a good segue to the subject of what are you using for work planning? Paper or just digital? And if changing jobs effects your work planning routines? I really like the papertess design layout and if I would have a meeting heavy job, or a job where I need to do lots of planning/week that might be what I would gravitate towards. It has enought structure so you can put things straight to the correct week, but enough space to be creative on a week to week basis. But my job is not like that so I have no need for a seperate work planner.

A very good looking palette! Good choices. That green looks so interesting. Thanks for sharing. One of my first inks in this journey across the land of fountain pen was Orange Indien, and it still has in my top. 😅

I adore teal inks and Diamine Eau de nil was my first and I still Love it today. I also love Aurora Borealis and Marine by Diamine. I'm wanting Robert Oster Tranquility.

Missing one of the best ones: Iroshizuku Tsuki Yo.

Diamine Aurora Borealis and Bliss are my two most used in this category. They're all beautiful but I dont reach for teal inks that often. Now, purple inks are my some of my favorites. I'm looking forward to that video.

Teal, a color I love. my favorite is Lamy Amazonite. It is very similar to Diamine Aurora Borealis, a little bit more blue. Dominant Industries Lake is another favorite, a little hint of violet makes it different from Diamine steel blue. The scented Herbin you mentioned makes me curious. In general I don’t like scented inks, the ones I had smelled much to strong, flat without any nuances in scent. A more complex, subtle scented ink sounds like something I can enjoy like a good shaving soap or eau de toilette.

Teals are my favorite color. These are some really god ones. Thank you.

I’m pleasantly surprised by the Schneider Bermuda! I know they are makers of school pens (at least in Germany many years ago), but I’ll have to be on the lookout for their inks now! Thank you!

I like the brighter teals - so for Sailor, I'd use 464. I think it's interesting how Sailor numbers their inks, you can always tell which color along the line of numbers you would like because of their numbering system. In your list, Lake is my favorite! But it's not as wet as I want it to be, but it's still very very good flow. Diamine marine has been on my list to try as it's right in the color shade I like. So excited for this color family, Ru! :D Thanks for sharing!
