I was so happy to see this video pop up today. I see some favorites and some new ones. Damson is underrated. Imperial Purple was my first purple and I agree with you. I plan to buy a bottle of Queen Allium.
Oh, how I enjoy a good purple ink. From this collection Bilberry is my favorite, maybe my favorite of all purples I have. Imperial Purple I don’t like because of the smell. Recently I got some purples like Damson. Unsaturated, moody grayish purples, I love them a lot Robert Oster Black Violet and Journalist This Laugh & Dare. looking forward to your next video about purples
I really don't like the smell of Imperial Purple either, maybe I should use it when I have a cold and don't really smell anything 🤣 I saw Laugh & Dare in another video recently and it looks really nice!
@@ruonpaper EASILY, Montblanc Psychedelic Purple. To me, it is THEEE PERFECT purple. I only learned about it after it was discontinued, however I managed to get some unsold bottles from Montblanc Monaco and elsewhere, so I have a few. 😊 Which ones are your favourite?

My favourites are definitely the more greyish ones, like Monteverde Elephant, Robert Oster Sydney Lavender or Diamine Vivaldi. I'll have to write with them a bit more to find out which one will be crowned THE favourite 😊
Looking at The Great Owl online I definitely see some similarities, but it's really hard to say if they're close enough for a dupe. If anyone reads this who has tried both of them, enlighten us!
I wonder what you would think of Sailor's Chushu from their Shikiori line. It's a very desaturated purple to the point that a lot of places online categorize it as a gray. I really like it!
I haven't tried that one yet, but online it looks very nice! Reminds me a bit of Diamine Earl Grey, but a bit more purple. Will have to try it at some point! 😊
@@ruonpaper in person I find it much more purple than earl grey. I really liked chushu a lot more than that ink. I find Diamine inks to be drier than what I'm looking for

It’s amazing how many purples you have! I have quite a few too and Bilberry is the only one that we have in common.

I just fell in love with a sample of Robert Oster The Great Owl and will be looking for a dupe. Perhaps that Diamine Vivaldi?
