We have 2 grocery chains in the whole county and both have their dumpsters locked up tight.

Did you see that all of the employees at a Dollar General quit-I’m so sorry I can’t remember where this occurred-but every employee from that particular store quit to protest the store’s policy of dumping usable items and being hypocritical! Employees should have a call list when there's a bunch of stuff. Sure, they get into trouble but they could get a text code or call during lunch.
I’m sure the store fired everyone to hired illegals! Tyson chickens is owned by Chi nese. They farm their chickens in Chi na. They are hiring 40,000 illegals. Which is illegal too!! But Bi den hasn’t lifted a finger to do anything about anything. 🤷 boycott Tyson, tell ur friends. We’re losing our country.

It was good to see that you, F.M. got to get out and join in the dive this time, it's been quite a long time. That was a great dive and you got things that you can use and need.
There's been a recall of cinnamon recently because of lead. It was ground cinnamon, cakes, baby food pouches, apple sauce pouches etc containing cinnamon that had high amounts of lead in it.
I love the frugal dumpster divers
I worked several years in a women's prison. It was actually self sufficient. Offenders did meal prep, cleaning, even yard work on the grounds. Taking them off the grounds would present a huge risk. I could see the possibility of work release offenders doing trash pickup. They aren't in prison for "singing too loud in the choir."
Dumping any type of good food is horrible for those stores throwing it away! I am so glad their are people like you guys who continue to rescue all the great food. All these stores need to do is fill out paperwork to be able to donate all of these food items. I use to go to large corporations and speak to the management for donations. They would always give me thing’s for helping homeless people when I lived in Florida. I have never been able to do it here, but I know some folks who do it.

Nice haul !! But hardly any meat again . I wonder if they are freezing it ? We have some stores doing that up here now . A day before expirary, they freeze it and put a percentage off sticker on it .

Its good to see you diving together. The fencing is handy. It would be good to use prisoners to clean up the areas
My church used to get inmates fr9m the local prison twice a year to cut the grass at the cemetery. The guard would stand there with a shot gun while they worked. They canceled the program because they said they were violating their rights by many them work.

I felt bad the other day I saw 2 cases of unsweetened coconut flakes in the bottom of a dumpster, but my grabber wasn’t strong enough and I couldn’t jump in to get them, being by myself I didn’t want to get stuck, so I had to leave them. So sad. 2 big boxes full 😢

Frugal mom please don't throw away your egg shells or your coffee grounds they're great to help with extra nutrition for your flower bed and your veggies. Dry them together in a container and after the egg shells get dry just crushed them up in your hands
Then when it's time to plant either seeds or plants themselves or flowers add some to the soil mix it up and plant. My veggies came out like mad this last year from using it.

You are absolutely right that prisoners shoeshine be picking up trash and other things and not just sitting around.
You’re not likely to see prisoners picking up trash . Why you may ask? There’s no money to be made by these mostly privatized prison corruption systems. They work for companies like Walmart and Pepsi Cola for pennies, while the plantation owner gets paid the big bucks for modern day slave labor. Hence why there are so many "criminals" in the system. They need bodies and for those wanting to chime in and say " well they should have followed the law! 🙄 There are so many innocent people that have fallen victim to the USA's corruption. FYI: For those whom cant wait to type " You should leave if you have a problem with the USA. I DID! I now live in a country where it's safe to actually LIVE and enjoy life without the threat of being harassed by the largest gang in the world ( police a.k.a Slave patrol). Everything i've stated can be researched and proven. Not opinion based. Just to be clear this is not an attack of any form on the Frugal Family Love watching you guys ! 😊
