3 time Emmy Award winner Jane Wyatt was born to the manor, and a true blue blood. She simply oozed class, grace, and dignity. From an old line New York family, Wyatt was educated at Miss Chapin's School & Barnard College; one of the exclusive "Seven Sisters" liberal arts colleges which include: Wellesley, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Vassar, Bryn Mawr, & Radcliffe.
Listening to her speak is like hearing a sonnet from an angel. I'm not very young, but not particularly old either-mid forties. My grandmothers and my mother had/have this kind of graceful manner. ...I'm very glad that I can still remember when people carried themselves with such dignity.
One of her sons studied piano at the university I attended...
Jane Wyatt’s one and only marriage lasted 65 years, ending only when her husband died. Not an ounce of impropriety or scandal was ever attached to her name throughout her long career. How bout them apples.
That's awesome. She kinda looked like Betty White. Dimples and all ❤
Boone was so nice to the contestants.
I always thought Jane Wyatt was wonderful on Father Knows Best !! 🧤👒
Jane Wyatt was always my favorite TV Mom. Loved her persona, and grace, and that voice! Classic show and Lady.
profoundly Catholic, gave time and money to charities!
Yep
I don't know which is better, listening to Jane Wyatt or looking at her.
Tie
Her LOOKS only reason I'm here!!
Listening to her make love ❤️ & looking at her as she seduces young men 👀
Great clues from Richard Boone!
12-22-2022.
Hiya Timothy from a different Timothy. Are you old/young?
Two great celebrity password players!!!
I forgot how handsome Richard Boone was, and that voice. . .
💋
Good episode, Jane and Richard played the game very well. Thanks.
This is such a great game! I love Alan Ludden!
Love this show.
That look he gives the camera when the guesses are way off! Lol!
@@daniellepatenaude3890 Isn't that the best. Alan Lundden is so inclusive and a class act.
What a lovely man Richard Boone is!
GOD. JANE WYATT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL. ALWAYS WITH THAT WRY NATURAL SMILE
Jane has genuine class = something which cannot be faked. She was from a prominent family & was written up in WHO'S WHO
Alan Ludden so gracious.
I love Richard in Have Gun Will Travel wish I had know about the other
He doesn't look right without his moustache...
I wish I had known as well. I loved Paladin and Richard Boone
@@alanhumphrey4198 he does look better with 'stache but he wanted to change his look for new show
jane wyatt was profoundly Catholic and gave time and money to various charities, I believe she also knew Bishop Sheen...
Anderson vs. Paladin. Great actors.
And thank you for posting, I love this show)
They were trying to push the Richard Boone Show, it was a Goodman-Todman production.
Have Gun , Will Travel.
Handsome.
Handsome... Very. A gentleman and charming.
Handsome... Absolutely.
For "Exterior" in that password like way of opposites, often used in the lightning round, I would've said "Interiorrrrr..."
From The Ed Sullivan Theatre on Broadway. Jack Clark is the announcer.
I'm thinking, for "Olive" (even as a 1st clue) said with a friendly smile and delivered in a peaceful way, the word "…… Branch…" (Said as best as possible as though it's the 2nd word in a term). The clue would be followed by a smile and a look in the eyes indicating one is putting out an olive branch to make the peace.
Good clue.
@@Ru-gv2if Thanks!
I would answered martini and I don't even drink.
@@ItsKrma00 Good point. That's always a possibility as a Logical answer. I guess in the delivery, I would try to make my entreaty more one of peace and less one of partying/imbibing 🙂
@@voicetube You think deep :)
For "Scar" I might have added "Healed" after the other clues. If needed, I would also add "Residual" (And/or maybe "Vestige" and/or "Marking":-)
“Driver”
“Seat”
“That’s a lady’s prerogative.”
From black and white to color.
From one game for each to two games and switching sides for each.
Password handed out some hefty prize money. $500 win then worth about $3782 today. Pretty good for 15 minutes of work or so! 👏👍😊
Richard should have said interior for the exterior Password
Cool that Gabriel worked but if she had done it in that leading way saying "Gabriel's...." that probably would have been more of a sure thing (yet it's a moot point, because the dude got it :-)
What's missing from the audience? It isn't Waldo.
Notice how Richard is still haunted by the goof he made in his last nighttime Password nearly three months back when he gave the Password "grandfather" as his clue!
He made up for it in a big way this night. He won two games while Jane won one. What's past is past but it doesn't have to affect our future unless we let it.
He referred to it too many times. Give it a rest.
Yeah, it really bothers Richard.
First time I've ever noticed a number on the Password "clamshell". Probably code number for the exact word, and kept words from getting mixed up.
I guess this was before Kentucky Fried Chicken was popular (Now called KFC)… Just a couple years later than this, she could have said "Sanders" and then if needed "Chicken" :-)
Allen Ludden suggested “Kentucky”, so I’m Colonel Sanders was known at the time.
@@benjaminkristilasiewicz4225 You're probably right (or, maybe Kentucky was just famous for chicken back then - but I'm leaning toward thinking you are correct).
Wait! Didn’t John Russell blow him away in the final scene?
Allen Ludden looks young here, in 1973 his hair was already grey! I checked IMDB on Richard Boone, and it shows that Boone appeared on Password on July 1, 1963, not 1973!
yeah header says 1963
Sad he died of cancer in the early eighties.
Richard Boone was really sexy here!!! He had declined quite a bit by the time he played Hec Ramsey.
At 4:30 Jane Wyatt's contestant said 'How heavy' for "scale". I'm surprised the Dr didn't catch it. It didn't work anyway.
Before London became Londonistan. Before diversity was a thing.
I don’t think olives are fruit..
They are. Related to cherries & most stone fruits.
I would think a great clue would have been Martini 🍸 !
For "Scar" after she gave the clue "Cut" she could have said the word "After" which I think would have SEALED the deal (no pun intended :-)
On another note, for "Colonel," I'm guessing they didn't have Kentucky Fried Chicken establishments well known yet because the clues "Sanders" and "Chicken" might have worked :-)
Even as a first clue I would've probably said "Driver" with a heavy British accent and a little snooty :-)
Jane has a man's clavicles. They go straight across. Women's clavicles go in a V shape.
17:37 The password isss "priiiiick"! LoL!
H
At 14:37 it could be a woman's clue (haven't you ever seen a baby dribble? :-)
