Wow Francis aged so gracefully by this time...

It's difficult to believe that Arlene Francis was 60 years old here...

@@jamesmcinnis208 and Randy, Yes, Arlene was a truly beautiful woman. I would love to have been her friend! I'm sure that her positive personality and exercise program (she lifted weights!) helped keep her young! She also had some assistance from plastic-surgeon relatives, I've read. All of which has allowed us to enjoy the benefits years later!

Love Sharon's sunny dress with that groovy pattern! Fashion Nostalgia... hey! Just noticed Allen's matching jacket ! 😁
And now, Skitch's matching stripes. And hair! 😯 wow, was that all scripted, I wonder!

A rough year for the Mets: even a Mets wife loses a doubleheader! Things would be much better two years later. However it had a sad ending for Sharon. She and Jerry Grote divorced in the late 1970's after his first retirement as a player. (He came back briefly in 1981.) Apparently she remarried at some point.

"WHEN his wife told him last November that their 17-year marriage was over, Jerry Grote says he felt stunned, paralyzed. "

For accent the first thing I thought of was "dialect."

@z good point. That said, I think some people might take that word/clue (especially if it were coupled with other more correct clues) and come up with "accent".

for accent I'd say Tayxes (Texas)

  • @kurtmorris454

Would have been funny if the next clue at 6:55 was… "BIRD."

I remember Arlene but Skitch or Switch or Slick or Stick or whatever his name is????

Alan's annoying '5 seconds' and 'there it goes' serves absolutely no purpose for the game whatsoever. give the person the word and say 'ok you have 8 seconds, go' if the clicker goes off say 'do you have a word?' if they don't answer right then give it to the next side.
