James Rolfe is a fuckin' legend. Still my favorite CZcams content provider of all time. He doesn't make as many "Angry Video Game Nerd" videos these days, but his content is still great. He does a lot of movie reviews these days, and he interviews people for his channel from time to time, also. Plus, every Monday, he and Mike Matei do their gameplay videos, which are fun to watch.

So what we're left with nowadays are Nerd episodes written by other people (which to be fair has been the case for a very long time now) to be read by James with the same effort and passion as when I read the morning papers aloud in my head. Then there's the podcast. James and the newer crew. Holy fuck. Look up the "Who Are These Podcasts" episode about Cinemassacre and James Rolfe. Both Opie's and Stuttering John's shows are followable and coherant in comparison. Mike and Justin (or Mike and Bootsy) have a gaming podcast that supposed to be good. The other one (again, Justin or Bootsy) has a show with someone else as well, so they are all still doing things at least. That all might sound harsh, and I'm just relaying what I've heard, but at the end of the day he was never a gamer. He owned some games as a child, then bought a collection as an adult. Did you see avgn's episode revisiting it? He admits he was confused by it say go up or down because he didnt know if it meant flight controls or actual directions. Then he realizes you just watch the meters, and its easy. So he addressed it.

One thing that puzzled me about O&A with the FCC-controlled portion of the show was their occasional decision to run segments or content that would be subject to censoring. Also, Opie saying 'effing' on terrestrial was yet another of the annoyances from the litany.
