I feel like English and French are some of the harder Western languages to learn later in life because of how broken spelling is. In French, plenty of words are spelled with a bunch of seemingly random letters added in, and in English the words come from so many different sources so the standards for spelling change a lot and don't really make sense.
So I had to learn English AND French, and my first language is Somali. Let me tell you right now, learning English has NOTHING on learning French. Learning French is so much more difficult that it blows me away that there are people who actually think English is harder to learn. English is complicated, but it's complicated like Benedict Cumberbatch's name where you can fuck it up five ways from Friday and people will still understand what you're saying lol

Watching this, I realize the enemies in Princess quest two aren’t firing through walls, because those aren’t technically walls, they are giant holes in the ground. So of course they’re able to shoot you, they’re shooting you over holes in the ground, not through walls that you’re walking past.
The projectile fuckers shoot at you even if you're not in the room they're in and they go through the room walls because playtesting their game is too much for steel wool

just create a Lizardfolk, Path of the beast barbarian
Although if you didn't have lizardfolk, you could use a green dragon born and reflavour your breath weapon as spitting oil and take dragon fear at level four.
Or even if you wanted to go in with more of the animatronic aspect, warforged if you have that.

Totem Barbarian lizardfolk, tavern brawler feat at lvl 4
Str: 18
Dex: 10
Con: 16
Int: 4 (minimum required to speak)
Wis: 8
Cha: 4
nah nah, lizardfolk do have natural weapons but its only the weak bite and tavern brawler does even weaker bludgeoning damage. Not to mention the fact that you can't ever use any kind of magical damage to get around resistances. You have to go path of the beast instead, not only is it better but can be done at an earlier level.

I honestly adore security breach. yeah its gross how they restarted the entire thing in the middle of development, but i think we did need a game like this, where you can get an in depth feel of the pizzaria without being confused of the layout, being cramped in one place, the same repetitive thing over and over. (That, or im just easily pleased.)

Stupid story, but the snow fort story at 32:47 reminded me of this.
So, I was in 6th grade middle of winter in Wisconsin and I was playing with friends at recess. We went out and there was a snow pile that had been semi-packed down and for whatever reason we started jumping on it. And we got in trouble and were forced to apologize to 3 1st graders because we were on their random snow pile in the middle of the school yard. Biggest bs I ever experienced.

Regarding the French thing, people in Paris are actually surprisingly chill about people trying to speak French because at the very least they know you're making a genuine attempt to speak their native language instead of walking up and talking to them in English as if you're somewhere that speaks it natively. Plus, a lot of Parisians know enough English to hold a conversation with it and they're more than willing to practice their own English if you're willing to make an attempt at speaking their language.
This all being said, do not expect them to not mock how bad your French was afterwards =P
The only experience I’ve had was asking for something in french at a patisserie shop in paris, but i was like 10 so i think the lady thought it was pretty cute. My french was probably awful though ahah

In Quebec it depends where you go in the province. If you go to the northern tip either they speak English or a native dialect so they wouldn't understand either way. If you live in the south, maybe 1/10 people speak English so they'll probably not bully you too much. If you go anywhere else, they will literally curb stomp you if you try to speak French.

Any speedrun on day one would be difficult due to no one having any knowledge of the game, literally any collectables, loading zones, mission objectives will have to be learned first before a speedrun can be done

i dont know if spiff did notice, but he did improve over the repeated times. movements were more fluid. it only seemed like he did worse when the momentum stopped during a small mess-up. less questioning himself and more realizing mistakes as they happen

Y'know, the Internet Historian clip and references at 1:20:20 made me realize that there are a lot of similarities between how Spiff and Internet Historian talk. Not in pitch - It's something in the cadence, or maybe the way Spiff emphasizes certain words in a sentence, that feels very IH-y.
Actually, now that I think about it, I can definitely hear some of the Internet Historian tone in Spiff's Security Breach theory. It's not as obvious in the theory itself, but the parts where he's talking to Lidia feel like they'd be right at home as one of IH's skits. It's cool to see the kinds of things that influence creators, whether or not it's a conscious decision.
Imagine how cool it would be if there was a category where you have 6 different instances of the game happenening at the same time and you had to beat the game while controlling all the other instances of the game
Many games already have things like that. Not to mention with how random sb is it would probably be impossible or would at least take a while (probably longer than this 600% run)

As a terraria player who mainly focuses on the Summoner class I fully understand your pain.
In recent updates it's gotten a bit better. There's now the Flinx Fur Coat and Flinx Staff which can be obtained before a boss (Armor and weapon) which are decent, and there are whips which are considered summon damage, 2 of which can be obtained before bosses. Additionally, there's the Finch Staff (found in living trees) and Abigail Flower, neither of which directly require damaging enemies to obtain, meaning Pure Summoner is actually legitimately viable without immense suffering.
It's still a hellish challenge but not nearly as stupid as it was before.

Oh god summoner kinda sucks still, but I suggest no tools no weapons if you want an insane, and possible challenge (anything the breaks blocks or damages enemies and can be reused is a tool/weapon imo, with this it’s completely possible)

Do items always go in the same order in the inventory? If so, you could record a scroll through the items so that each time you missed one you could search down the list until the items are out of place.
Items and messages are in the order of when you pick it up. If he picked them up in the exact same order every time, it could work!

A door implies the existence of a wheel, being the hinge. Given there are from 2-3 hinges per door, even if a door could exist on its own without a wheel, the presence of other forms of wheels not interacting with doors immediately proves their cannot be more doors than wheels.
