Would you give Ollie's Trek Madone a nice, or a supernice? đ„
GCN Tech super nice once heâs fixed that bar tape đ @ 5:19
Super nice for sure but I do own the same bike!
Super super nice!!
Supernice
Super super nice!!!!
I missed the bit when you told us how we could win it đ€
Not even a Trek fan but this is the nicest gcn presenter bike ever, well done Ollie!
James! Someone here is a bully..
Ur 200th like I am
Please Please Please do some blind tests of the isospeed compliance! You have the perfect opportunity. Take it to the extremes and have the other presenters determine what setting its at by riding while they cant see the setting. We can get some blind testing of the isospeed claims. I would love to watch that.
120 centimeter stem? Would like to see you in that Superman position đ
17% more comfortable? how do you go about measuring that....?
if lasty looks comfortable, he's not trying hard enough
Here in the States we have a scientific method of measuring comfort. See, we got a hundred men to ride the new Madone, 17% got erections while riding it, so that has to mean comfort, right?
It was a joke, and one I got a good chuckle from.
Yeah I was going a comment but found yours first.
could just mean 17% more compliance..
Gorgeous bicycle, I definitely agree with your choice of wheels. Also, those bottle cages are a lovely sculptural element, as well as being a light and practical design. Wishing you many a great ride on this bike. Cheers Ollie!
Hi there Ollie,, that's a supernice roadbike for me. And the way you presented it with pride and joy makes it superduppernice.đ
Not only is it a cool Madone, but its rocking 858s. Awesome.
Super nice Trek OllieđMerry Christmas đ from đŠđșđ
Ollie you are a dude! I love the information and delivery you have in showcasing the Trek Madone SL6. I gotta have one!
Thanks for the chuckle, Ollie. Quite frankly, it took a palm to my forehead to recall who designed Lasty's paint job. And now we need a Presenter Duel on those gorgeous Madones.
Awesome bike, my dream bike! I have 2008 Trek Madone 6.9 and I absolutely love it
supernice! great presenter Ollie very funny and informative, so are all the GCN presenters! can't pick a favourite out of them.
Ollie never disappoints. Big Ollie fan
I've got one and was lucky enough to own the older model, which they still make as an entry level bike. I've ridden the System Six from Cannondale and it rides like a TT bike with drop bars, whereas the Madone is more like a highly refined road bike. A few Years back if you would have told me how much difference it makes I wouldn't have believed you, I've tested it and it's 24 seconds quicker over 4km using the same rims and power output.
love it. Bought 2 roadies in the past 4 months. My latest was my dream bike, now Iâm reconsidering. I do prefer a set of aero bars for comfort though. The forearm balance Trick isnât the safest or most efficient. Especially when I get to yank mine back and slid my rear forward. Pure power mode.
Great review Ollie as usual! đđ» you make that bike look gooooood!đ€ȘđȘđ» Merry Xmas form đšđŠ
Absolutely beautiful bike Ollie ! I also have a Trek Madone, the red and white Team Edition !
Lovely bike. I have a 9.2 and although it's old-school now I love it to bits. I prefer the red 9.9 presenters bike from a few years ago but I'm not that into two tone paint. The madone is the best bike ever made in my opinion and that one is a sweet example đ
I really love the paint job.
That bike and paint job with those rims.....WOW
120cm long stem. Custom i am guessing
Looooonnnnng and low.
Yup, very aero in the plank/Superman position on a good old 1.2m stem.
Hahahahaha
Hey GCN. I appriciate all of the videos you guys make. It has really helped me out and now with the knowledge I have learned from you guys over the years, i am buying my first super bike tomorrow. Its a
2017 Specialized S-works Tarmac Team Astana Edition (riden by Arman Kamyshev) i guess it was a spare bike (atleast the frame) for the tour
Brand new ZIPP 404 firecrest clincher wheelset
Sram red e-tap.
Love the paint
Beautiful!!
Sick! I love it! After much agonizing over the Madone or Emonda, I got an Emonda SLR8 Disc, which I love, but that's a damn sexy bike.
I saw you on this bike a while ago and went to trek and ordered the same bike love the paint job and it is so fast donât have the zipp wheels maybe one day!!
Beautiful bike, 1 million here in Argentina.
Would love this bike myself lovely paintwork
Super nice, Ollie. That's one sweet Madone.
This is eye đ! Fell in love at first sight! đ„đ„ I would give up my triathlon bike for this aero bike!
Stunning. Not a big fan of the TREK brand but this thing looks amazing. Great job, hope you have a lot of safe and awesome KM's on it.
Absolute stunner!
Ollie. that is super duper nice!!!!. Enjoy the ride.
Ollie - you are one lucky rider! Best looking Madone ever!
I' m not normally a Trek fan but... my LBS has a Madone in the window that I keep drolling over - just lush!
"Im a lucky boy"
Me: Bruh...
Loving the bike Ollie i have the trek domane SL5 grey and orange colour and its a great bike i was previously riding a claud butler
Wow! My dream bike!
Beautiful cycle
No doubt @ all, Olli: TREK is the one of your two bikes (Iâm in love with this bike, even-though Iâve the new SWORKS Venge 2019). But the Madone is different, personal and super beautiful (Venge, BMC..... pretty same look đ)
Congratulations!!
Simply beautiful đ
Badass, Ollie! Love it!
Stunning bike....my dream bike and wouldn't you know is - it's just my size (even the saddle height)!!!
What a beauty!
I would never ride a trek but Iâm glad ur happy Ollie đ€đœđđŒđđŒđșđ»
Supernice bike Ollie, enjoy!
Planning to buy a Madone SLR 6 pretty soon! Super cool bike, only if I had the budget for SLR 9!
Enjoy the bike Ollie!!
Wow! I love Trek, I want one of these so bad! Saving my money for one
That is a wicked piece of equipment mate...
That wheel sound is so sick
Can't believe you didn't design it yourself
Supernice for this one Ollie, really sorted bike :)
lovely bike, definatley the trek for my ollie
Agreed the deep wheels a must. I have 50 front and a 70 rear on mine...the only problem mine is last years model đ€Ș. But I will upgrade mine with the new bar/stem combo. Nice ride đ ohh yeah, go tubeless I havenât had a flat in 8 mths and the road a crap where I live
Your job definitely has its perks. Super nice..RING THE BELLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
Spot on with the deep wheel choice! My rule of thumb is: The wheel needs to be deeper than the surrounding frame tube.
Super nice. Love the bike. đ
this is probably the supernicest bike i've ever seen
Finally it comes GCN
Fab bike! Hope Santa brings you some new bar tape for Christmas đ
Sweet bike Ollie! The last time I watched you do a video on a bike of yours I went out and built the same one myself (Cannondale SS EVO HM climbing bike). I shouldnât have watched this one. Now Iâm really screwed! đ
That's one wicked bike!!!
Love your bike
Man that's a awesome bike wish I had one
Super cool mate...trek all the way ..the paint..
A hub sound test wow! Got nothing to complain now.
Hahaha brilliant!
wow just wowđ
Last time I saw Ollie reviewing a bike it was the scott addict he got on cycling weekly. They must be gutted it only lasted about 4 weeks before GCN picked him up. #Olliegang #Olliesquad #TeamOllie
Super bike! Love to custom build with the wheels and saddle. Would be great to see a comparison between the Madone and the Canyon Aeroad CF SLX.
Ollies nice. And Lastys Supernice! It is the paint :)
Currently loving my 2021 Domane sl 5. But when its time for a second bike i may be looking at madone
That bike is insane!
Totally shocked awe this bike looks
My dream bike..
Amazing bike
Beautiful bike
What a bike đ
Did anyone notice that his stem is 120 CENTIMETERS long 4:35.... that is massive
I love this bike!
âSuper nice!â
Super nice!!!
I bought a 3D printer on a whim and it's become one of the best purchases I've ever made. No longer do I have to put up with specific light/computer combos or just horrible mounts in genaral. The Garmin mount for my Bontrager one piece bars put the Garmin way up in the air. Looked hideous. It took about 10 iterations but I printed a mount that doesn't bounce, is flush with the bars, and has the Garmin super tight against the mount. Worth every penny.
Which printer did you buy?
@@douglaspate9314 XYZ Printing da Vinci 1.0 Pro. Pretty happy with it so far. There is definitely a learning curve but, if you like to tinker, it's worth the green.
@@JosephDiaz That's awesome. Have you shared on thingaverse? I have a da Vinci jr that only does PLA. I don't think it's up for the task.
@@mfennell70 I haven't yet but should. I bought my printer specifically because it did ABS for durable mounts. So far I only had one mount break on gravel. Luckily my Garmin was in a rubber case. Haha.
was waiting for the reference to Lasty's custom paint job :P
Stunning. Is that the black & sunburst paint job? Looks v different in daylight. Absolutely beautiful
Golly Ollie, that is spot on!
super nice! even the fly agree @8:12
Fav line...âI like something to push back onâ!!! Geniusđđ€Łđđđđ€Łđđđđ€Łđđ
One of the sexiest road bikes made. I as well like the 2019 Cervelo S5
Nice one Ollie, proper bobby dazzler that.
That free hub sound :)
Beautiful bike...đ
Narrow bars, super nice! My crit bike has 36mm bars, 130 stem, super stable at speed
Right there with you! 34cm bars and 140mm stem đ
Lovely bike
I can fully relate to that piece of leave hugging on the front of the zipp 858s XD
8:23
What i like about trek is that they hide every sign of wires in handlebars and that looks awesome đ„
It's something Harley-Davidson did one hundred years ago.
An absolute beauty! the bike a mean :)
I had no idea that Ollie was so tall. This reframes everything I've ever seen him in.
Well done Ollie!!!
Lucky boy indeed!
I'm nearly 6'5' all limb. I don't see ever running a bar wider than 42 for general use.
