Hazard admits himself, he's not a goal scorer.
He will never be a 30 goal season player.
He has skill and enjoys playing the game, just like Zidaine, not all about goals.

@Fredo Martinez But he knows rivalry in football today and the reason why as a top player for a top team, you cannot just move to another top team, all the top teams have millions of fans and all these fans want their teams to win the champions league and domestic leagues. You would literally break the hearts of these millions of people for nothing. Chelsea just bought a very sensational player in Pulisic, we have ambition, it's not as if Chelsea is not serious, so why does he break our heart, I hope Chelsea will not finish tenth in the league next season when he leaves. The inconsistency argument literally comes from pundits who have histories with Chelsea's rivals and people who can't form reasonable opinions of their own just regurgitate that nonsense. The last time I ever found Eden's work ethic lacking was the same season we finished 10th under Mourinho. Even in that season, he couldn't help but put up his best displays against rivals when it counted to screw them over.
The inconsistency argument is BS. It applies to the Chelsea staff and board because they kept surrounding him with inferior/unproven players that they couldn't be patient with and shipped off eventually, somehow managing to keep deadwood instead, forcing Eden to play in systems that relied on him more than any single player should b burdened. Sarri's system is far from perfect, but we've seen this season that if the players around him do their best and dominate possession with quick passing, Eden is free to do what he does best without having to actually carry the bloody team forward by himself.
Eden will be remembered as a Chelsea and PL legend not just because of what he can do and not just because he's a team player that wants his forward partners to succeed, but also because in a time of unpredictable Chelsea results on and off the pitch, he's been the one constant - always modest, always fighting, always giving his best, and more often than not, producing the mesmerizing when it counts.

If you look at how many times Ronaldo saved Madrid especially last season, it doesn't make him bigger than Madrid. In hazards case he just happens to be too good for Chelsea at their present level of performances. I as a Chelsea fan can when he joined Chelsea it made me enjoy watching football more bcs of what he shows on the pitch and off it. Just bcs he doesent have the same mentality as Ronaldo doesent mean hes not a very talented player which scores goals when hes team needs him too. In terms of talent and football intelligence hes up there with the very best. How he wants to use his qualities is up to him. And people should respect that. Then its up to the managers if they want him to play or not. They wouldnt play him if he wasent bringing something to the team. And from experience he usually does when hes 100% fit and in the mood.

Hazard may not be an all out scorer, but he is a very balanced player that scores and assist as a no.10. Add goals n assists together, thats avg of supplying 30 goals on a season. Dribbler too. May lack the physical side to battle in the middle against Pogba/de Bruyne for ball possession. But Hazard probably scores and assists more... Plays higher up on pitch. No problem cutting in from flanks.
Madrid currently do not have an outstanding playmaker that can simutaneously score, make others score and dribble past opponents with ease, all in one since CR7 left. Modric seems aged and really not as effective. Isco, good player, but not seen as a BIG NAME Galatico.

I constantly here pundits say he's the best player in the premier league, yet he's never had a 20 goal season. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic player. But Salah (last year) blew him away. Same with Firmino who had more goals and assist than Hazard. Kane has been scored 30+ goals three out of the four past years (one of those years he had 28). Aguero has scored 30 goals for years now. Mane has more this year with 20 goals.
Eden Hazard is a great player. But for folks to keep putting him up there... saying that behind Messi and Ronaldo, he's the next best in the world... rubbish! I've always thought that was rubbish! Very good, but he has several players playing better than him at the moment. And consistency over the last few years proves the same.

Liverpool is a real big club who won more CL than other premier league teams combined, not some fake arab or russian oil shitter chelsea or city, so he's right lol, there's no player who is "too good" for Liverpool, they're one of the giants of world football.

I don't normally agree with Jamie, but he has a point. This current Chelsea team is not good enough for Hazard, or us. Same goes for Kante, he's world class and a world Cup winner. These 2 players need to be in 1 of the top 3 teams in the world. This current team is lacking a good manager, one that's got longevity.

If you're saying Hazard's too good for the current crop of players at Chelsea that's fine, but that would mean he's too good for Real Madrid as well. If you're saying he's too good for the entirety of the club then you are really mistaken. He is one of our greatest ever players but that doesn't make him bigger than the club. Drogba, Gullit, Zola, Lampard, Terry, none of them would ever be hailed bigger or too good for the the club so Hazard shouldn't either.

I think what they mean is that, he's too good for us in a sense that real Madrid or barca are the only other clubs he can go too to improve, if he's too good for Chelsea, then he's too good for Liverpool United arsenal tottenham. I want to say City as well but right now they are a level above any other English club

    • @kareemkhalid1384

Level above any English club. That's a ridiculous statement even for a Chelsea fan considering Liverpool are top of the league and in the last 8 of the CL (last year finalists). At this moment, Liverpool and City are a level above any English club.
