Really really beautiful work, you’re the man Qazi! After moving to the blackmagic family of cameras and switching from premiere to resolve your channel has been the single most important resource for learning the resolve color grading process. I can’t thank you enough for all the tips, tricks and thought processes.LEGEND👊🏻
let's go my brother. Much love.
Truly, this man is a frickin saint.
dude you are killing it! Loving your videos, i'm learning to really appreciate how much goes into the art & craft of color grading!
Much love
Qazi, the youtube breaker! Thanks for creating the contents and the community for us!
you know it
Man, you`re inspiring my filmaking so much! Love your work and your videos!
Changed from Premiere to Davinci for colors, and simply loving it!
This was a cool email to read through. The Master Class is legit no joke. 100000% worth the money
Amazing work as always. I really appreciate what you offer to the creative community.
of course. Appreciate the love.
I hadn't thought about dropping MD to counter that digital feel. Great tip, definitely gonna use that one.
for sure
That birthday shot was absolutley beautiful. Very emotional
Thank you
Always great tutorials!! I'm trying to use more curves and less qualifier too! Tnks for the masterclass man, you rock!
Let's go. FCM fam 💪🏾
Keep up the amazing work dude!
Again Qazi. You are amaizing as always love you soo much..you are helping so many people
love you, back
Really like this break down... Waqas 🤩
Ty
Your videos are beyond great! I think of you as my mentor / teacher motivation. . Will get your tutorial package 📦 layer on..
Let's go!
it seems that those that had paid for the original course get bonus content as well. thank you :D :D
Of course 💪🏽
Hey Qazi, you're really down to earth and your process is really clean and understandable, love it and thanks for putting it out there for those trying to learn how to grade in resolve, really appreciate it 🤞🏽
If it's possible you should try to break down Parasites color grade, there's just something about the colors thats eerie and foreshadows the tone of the movie
thanks for the love and yes, parasite is on the list.
Thank you for yet another amazing video Qazi 🙏
You know it brother
The storytelling of this video was so good!
Thank you
Hauu!! Thank you soo much, congratulations for the excellent work!
you're welcome brother
you are the legendary man
This is gold!! Thanks Qazi!
thanks
Hi Waqas!! very cool, really beautiful work. One cuestion,
it would be interesting to show an image with a pan or tilt in the same cut, it is very difficult for me to make corrections in cuts like this. thanks.
Insanely good content again Qazi! I was also just wondering how you would have a client send you the prores file if there were dissolve transitions baked into the footage? How would you go about colour grading that? Thanks again!
Thanks. Got a whole lesson on it and a Module in my masterclass to show you all the different ways to attack it. waqasqazi.podia.com/freelance-colorist?coupon=spring
the use of glow and sharpen is genius. Like a black pro mist filter that's adjustable
💯couldn't agree more.
do we have that glow in premiere pro in anyway?
Actually I am more comfortable in editing in Premiere pro. So I learn and apply your color grading techniques in Premiere pro as much as I can.
Sukhpreet Singh not a great way buddy. You got to apply those techniques in resolve. Premiere is not a grading app lol
Hey Qazi, how do you create the videos where it reveals all the layers of one's color grade? Do you have a video on this? Thanks!
love this so much ... i'm so glad that i met you... Awesome....Stuff
thank you brother
Hey, great content as always !
Would you be able to explain a bit of your setup please ? Looking to upgrade to a Mac Pro, so i'm curious about your configuration and maybe I/O card (decklink ?), etc.
Thanks for the knowledge your sharing !
thanks. Setup is explained in detail in my masterclass. bit.ly/2YGHMJO
Hey man really love your work!! I have a question tho, I bought a color calibrator but it seems like my colors are still a bit of on different screens. I use a IPS Panel Dell Alienware AW3418DW a $1000,- monitor. How do you deal with this?
Cannot get layer mixer working.. Set it up EXACTLY like you did, but no change is seen in the output, changing any of those 3 nodes. What am I doing wrong?
Other than that, sick tutorial! Learning so much from this.
Love your videos! The biggest question I have is when to use log wheels over primary wheels especially when you can mask out a certain area you're working with.
thanks. Watch this bit.ly/2wdU3Kb
I appreciate you Qazi!!!
Thank you Sam 😀
That's one of the most beautiful looking video clips here in morocco

Great stuff Was, really impressed by the difference in the bedroom scene with the woman. Insane difference.
Thank you
Tons of juice!
Captured the moods big time here
You know how I do.
How much did you charge for that work ? Great content as usual ! Thanks
I absolutely love this tones man...and this channel at all!
I have watched each of your videos like 3-4 times, while taking notes..
Ofc, i have 2 question, that i am struggling with:
1. what should i do first - do the skin tones, then the "'look'' and then bring back the skin tones creating parallel node and connect it with the "skin" node, then keying it a litle, or the opposite - First create the look and then bringing the skin tones back?
2. While working with skin tones is it absolutely necessary to qualified them, or i can adjust them, using R curve, or hue vs.?
Regards from Bulgaria
This is where you can benefit a lot from the masterclass because its much more than a comment to understand what needs to happen in different situations. waqasqazi.podia.com/freelance-colorist?coupon=spring
Good content, i like this video
Hey Qazi! awesome video! so much great info! Thank you so much! Quick question, do you ever rely on the skin tone line on the vectorscope to bring back skin tones? i feel like i'm always trying to keep skin tones on that line and maybe sometimes you should just let the skin match the lighting even if it's not "natural". Thanks!
thanks. at this point I don't rely on the skin tones line. Those are the training wheels great for starting out but eventually you gotta move past that.
Waqas Qazi cool thanks for the reply!
Bruh you answered my prayers 💯💯💯🎥
😀💪🏽
Can you make a video on just the skin tones? And if its better with paralel node or layer node? And how keying works in each! I really love the way you explain things!! Thank you!!
I have. Just go through my content here or better yet jump on the masterclass that closes in 2 days. bit.ly/2YGHMJO
Waqas Qazi Ok thank you man!!
Cool cant wait

I'll add it to the list
So good man, ty
Thanks
Love the work but do you really need that many nodes??
GREAT JOB!
Thank you
To anyone who's really into color grading buy it. Don't think twice it definitely worth it guys.
FCM fam. Love you, back 💪🏽
Do you know why my rx580 8gb doesn't accelerate open fx? I have 2700x and 32gb. I set everything in settings.
amazing!
Thanks!
Have you done any demos with blackmagic pocket cinema 4K footage in BRAW? I think a lot of indie filmmakers are using these cameras because of the price point and image quality, I’d love to see that.
there are videos on my channel that were shot on bmp4k also I have a whole module in my masterclass that take you through bmd and bunch of other cameras and how to best use them. 2 days left to sign up bit.ly/2YGHMJO
Very detailed and full of information. The only problem in the music video is that nurse's acting, that kept a smile on her face in the beginning but that's not what we can fix in post haha. Cheers Brother.
much love.
Happy Mother's day to fathers who play mother role ❤️🌹🌹❤️
