I guess Lex because he was salty at Rob for going against the deal he made with Rob and it was evident he was salty at the FTC.
Hard to say, it's one thing to be bitter about the game, but then to bring up Rob's personal life into the commentary was too much. Makes me less sympathetic towards them in this season.

Found on the Survivor Wiki page: "In an interview with Rob Cesternino, Jerri revealed that the buffs inside were laid flat and arranged in order, claiming that it was the production's way of splitting Rob and Amber up."
If that's true, I'm 99% sure that it was Jeff's idea. He hated Rob and Amber together and wanted to get rid of Amber so badly. Too bad for him, Amber and Rob found a way and ended up winning $1,100,000, 2 cars, and got married regardless.

The Colby wanting to quit one is most surprising to me. He seemed like he was knees deep in the game prior to his elimination. He was the leading force to taking out Hatch if I recall.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy how the man who everyone fell in love with during season 2 quickly does not care about the show anymore on his return trips.
One reason I didn't like this season was because mostly everyone was so bitter and mean spirited as the season went on. After hearing the commentary from team 2 I'm doubling down on it. Them be callous to Jenna's mom having cancer and Sue's assault allegations were red flags. What's shocking is that Jerri despite receiving the most unnecessary hate by the audience compared to everyone else showed probably the least animosity in the season and the reunion. She deserved so much better.
It was a team of kinda awful people. Awful people mean drama and drama means ratings. Good people do not always mean as good ratings as much as bad people.
Outside of the survivor community people like Parvati and Rob but in real life they are awful concieted pretty people who have had life handed to them
Story of my life, Production Designers, Art Directors, etc, get so overlooked and it's really sad. I've seen people build full on city streets and very few realize how much blood, sweat, and tears goes into these builds. Survivor's build team deserve so much praise.
I don’t remember where I heard this, but Boston Rob said on a podcast or something that after the final tribal council thrashing, he and Amber flew home alone on a helicopter because producers were worried what would happen if they all flew home together.

Out of all the seasons to have the most dirty/interesting secrets behind the scenes, this season has to be at the top of the list. And looking at the length of this video, I don't think I'm wrong in my assumption. Can't wait to check this out.

This is the first season that I ever watched in full and it’s always been my favorite. Great season with no twists and advantages
Apparently they couldn't get lot of people to come back that's why Rob and Amber are even on the season.
Skupin was actually in the cast, but he opened his mouth to too many people saying he was going to be on it and what the theme was, which got back to CBS. So he was removed, and that’s how Boston Rob ended up there as he was the first alternate.
Thank God. No Boston Rob in All Stars drastically changes his history with the show and of course Amber. They fell in love and are still together and have a family. That's wild how that works.
Alicia calling Boston Rob a bully is real hypocrisy! And Lex too! In both of his seasons, he would lie as much as anyone, but then when his alliance voted him out, he criticizes them so loud & glares at them, acting like a spoiled 5 year-old. What a hypocrite!

Thanks for the video! I recently decided to start Survivor from the beginning and am on season 2 now. It didn’t dawn on me until several episodes in that I was watching THAT Amber. It’s neat to see so many early castaways in All Stars, and I’m looking forward to it! 🙂

I remember thinking two major things this season. How the HELL did they not vote out Rob and Amber early on, and why the HELL everyone hated ShiiAnn for doing nothing wrong to anybody. It seemed so cruel and unnecessary
This season was ahead of its time. Players were shocked by how ruthless and cutthroat it was. But that’s just expected and celebrated now.
That is why I say Russell should have on Samoa. Not a fan or hater of his, just my opinion. Should he play new school (which he did start) he would have won.
@@monapop I honestly don’t think he would’ve won even in new school seasons because of his lack of social skills. He may have been more respected, but ultimately still would’ve lost. He just doesn’t have good people skills.
@Mona Pop a new school Russell probably gets out pre merge(he actively harms the tribes + never really being productive in camp +would be considered making too many big moves too early), or even if he makes it to the end, won't win because of his terrible terrible FTC skills. Jury asides, both of Russell's FTCs are objectively bad. He doesn't even bother trying to give the jury what they want
*Some players did not have the Armour skin it took, 2 cry babies on the jury & it wasn't ahead of its time..BR perfect example of this.

Here's a secret that wasnt mentioned. AllStars was meant to be season 10. But CBS needed something to compete with FOX since the Friends final season was airing at the same time. So they moved AllStars to season 8.

38:20 tbf.. tooth pain is no fcking joke. And in a game like this I could see myself being able to push through large amounts of pain for a challenge, but it would be a lot harder to make yourself do camp-work, since it's not as urgent or as important.
Ofc it's totally possible that he was just being dramatic to get out of working, but it's also totally possible that he really was just in pain.

A few years ago, I actually thought that this could be a secret advantage in a future season.
The first season I watched as a little boy, and I’ve been watching every season since! This season will always be one of my favorites.

Kind of a shame Kelly Goldsmith was an alternate for Jenna given that Jenna drops out of the game pretty early on.
I always thought they originally cast her then cut her, which is why they gave her a job as a casting director for Vanuatu. They felt bad because she'd quit her job to come out for All Stars.

Hearing these secrets on Rob in this season is giving me Russell Hantz vibes. I see why they both lost.
Half of this cast is from Borneo and Australia. I never liked that about this season. There could've been a more even split among the representation of the first seven seasons.
A real lack of diversity across the board.

Lex and Alicia were so bitter….poor babies, didn’t everyone know they were suppose to win. Lex acted like he was God telling each player that it was their turn to go. I cheered when he got voted off.

It feels like it was kind of the plan. They had 4 winners and Sandra was supposed to be on so that only leaves out Vecepia & Brian but there was no way they would bring Brian back.

In his CZcams channel, Rich stated that during the controversial challenge, Sue was already close to Chapera's platform but chose to walk back his way and deliberately let what happened occur.

this is one of my favorite other than gabon
I remember hating this season back when it first aired when I was a teenager. I rewatched it a couple weeks ago and now I understand why. All the good/entertaining players are gone almost immediately and the rest of the season is just watching everyone talk about how much they trust Rob while he continuously quintuple crosses them all and makes fun of them in confessionals.
It's a miserable watch.
