I honestly really enjoyed this season. The first 8 seasons of survivor just had that special magic to it even with the couple bad seasons (Thailand). And I first started watching survivor about a year and a half ago while I was in college
The whole reaction to Sue's feelings and ultimate quit makes me so uncomfortable. To me it's so clear that her strong reaction is not necessarily just about what Richard did but rather the incident brought back perhaps some other trauma from the past for Sue and that's why she had such a big reaction to it afterwards. I know that 2004 was a very different time especially when it comes to attitudes towards harassment but still Kathy's comments on the matter in particular made me quite disappointed and it made it impossible for me to root for her.
To be fair Lex says Ethan would've been more hurt if he was blindsided.
Also it's not the same situation as Rob because while they were allies they didnt make a deal where one part kept their promise and the other one didnt.
I get why lex would be mad , he saw his friend suffering and he tried to help him just to be backstabbed 2 second later , and Rob was the one who convinced everyone to vote for lex , it was his choice
Pre-Merge minus Sue/Hatch incident overshadows Post-Merge besides Rob's betrayal of Lex, Rob and Amber's love story, Alicia boot episode, and at final 4 and 5.

Amber is deserving winner to Boston Rob as goat.
Apparently Helen & Ken from Thailand were alternates for this season.
So was Gervase Peterson from Borneo.

In my opinion jenna lewis is the mk ost annoying player of all time. I believe she replaced Collin in the all star cast. Alicia was popular with CBS production. They also invited her for heroes vs villains but she declined.
She is annoying. But i dont think the most annoying ever. What about Lisi?
I think this season was disappointing but not THAT disappointing. Big brother 22 is an example of a TERRIBLE all star season. Probably the worst all star season ever between bb and Survivor. Though Caramoan is pretty close
It's not true that Rob couldn't help Lex. He could have at least targeted Shii-Ann before Lex as reward for getting rid of Jerri over Amber. I dont think Jenna/Rupert/Alicia/Tom would have minded that at that point in time. Rob didn't "try" anything. No "if I can".
I would have liked Gervase or Sean on All Stars over Rudy.
I often can’t help but wonder just how different the outcome of the season would have been if Colleen and Elisabeth were casted instead of Jenna L. and Amber as well as if neither Jenna M. and Sue didn’t quit.
Would Boston Rob fallen for Colleen or Elisabeth instead???
@@OnceUponAnIsland It is insane to think that four little girls literally would not exist had Elisabeth or Colleen been in instead of Amber.

I can’t stand Boston Rob. He can be strategic with out being mean. I hate the way he makes fun of people. It just seems heartless
I just finished a rewatch of this season and I enjoyed it so much less than I remembered. Although Boston Rob is a good player I really didn’t like him in this season on a rewatch. He screwed over all 3 of the people I would be rooting for if I was watching this for the first time. (Rob C, Lex and Big Tom.)
