- This is a FREE scrap busting video tutorial from Linds Handmade Designs. You can get the printable pattern template pieces from our website (it will not have written instructions included) here: lindshandmade.com/products/fr...
If you prefer to cut by measurements here’s the cut list (any pieces using quilt cotton should be interfaced with a woven interfacing first):
-Main body: 3½”w x 8½”h (cut 2)
-Sleeve: 3½”w x 5½”h (cut 2)
-Foam 2½”w x 7½”h (cut 1)
I am sewing on a domestic Juki TL-2000qi using a tex 45 bonded thread (it’s the “fairy floss” from geekyhardware.com)
The floral print is Primavera by Rifle Paper Co for Cotton and Steel in Black Birch Floral.
The foam I am using is Pellon Flex-Foam 1-sided fusible (FF78F1)
The woven interfacing I used is Pellon SF-101. - Jak na to + styl
Thank you for- simplicity and NO binding 😁
Yes!!! You’re welcome ☺️
Perfect! Love the classy lines.
I just printed my pattern. Great job! TY so much. I am an H2O2Go maker and was working on a different project when I remembered that you did this for us. Much appreciated.
You are so welcome!
Thanks, Lindsay! This is super useful.
You’re welcome!
Thanks so much! And look at you, matching your H20 sling! I appreciate the color/stripes coordination ;-)
Ha ha! Wasn’t even planned 😳.
What a fantastic idea!
Love it 🥰
Thanks for the video! I couldn't have done this project without it! First real project besides minor fun stuff with the kids. Im hooked now!

You’re welcome! So simple, right? Hallelujah for no binding 🥳
OMG. so easy. Thank you so much
Yes!
Thank you 😊
Great little addition - I will incorporate them into the backpack I am making as the customer wanted 1” polypropylene straps which can be rough on the skin in the summer!
Good call! 👌🏻
I made one! As promise, very easy sew, great for scraps, works like a charm. Perfect for my H20 to-go sling.
🤗
Thank you so much that was great and quickly achievable
You’re welcome!
nice!!!!
You made my day❣️❣️❣️
I’m so glad 😀
Thank you for the tutorial and pattern! I think if I use this pattern for a 1-inch strap I could do the 1/8-inch top stitch then do another stitch line farther in and see how that works.
Wow thank you soooo much for that great video and pattern.... and yes no binding.... hurrah...
You’re welcome!
Gracias! Easy peasy!
Yes!!
Thank you ❤
Amazing thank you😍
You’re welcome!
Muy lindo el poyecto pero por favor traducirlo al español
awesome, thank you, may I ask where you get your webbing, I really like it , it is very pretty
Georgiagirlstitches.com 👌🏻
thank you !!! yay nooo binding!!🌹❤🌹
Yay!
If you were to do a 1 inch strap of webbing (that's all I have) would you still cut these pieces the same size or would they be cut to another size smaller? I am going to be making the H20 bag for a friend, and would love to make this strap piece for her...Thank you!
That’s entirely up to you. It shouldn’t make a difference. It’s current measurement is to allow a 1 ½” swivel clasp to fit through it easily. I don’t think it would look bad with a 1” strap or anything.
Thanks this is awesome and please tell me where you purchased that webbing from.🥰
Hobby lobby. But zipper valley will have it I believe today or tomorrow on their website!
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns oh thanks so much

Thanks...I dislike binding 😁
Ha ha! So many people are just like you! I like it for inside bags, not so much as a focal point on the exterior of something 😳
What are the sizes of the different fabric pieces please?
I posted all those details in the description box below the video. Click the little arrow off to the right just below the video to open it. 😀
