I used to go to Ocean City every summer. We'd all load into the family van- all 3 generations of the family- and drive from my grandparents' in Havertown, PA to the boardwalk. Those are such great memories. We'd always stop at the last Wawa before the shore, and also grab the Shriver's salt water taffy which I'd take back home to share with friends ☺☺
I live in France now and can't afford to visit, so I miss it dearly. Thank you so much for uploading this and bringing back those childhood memories. Might sound ridiculous over such a simple video, but it brought a tear to my eye.

yeah it's not even about TRYING to do anything (appreciate the sentiment) but just going with what feels right/natural and this is where we're at.

I used to never be able to fall asleep with headphones or ASMR because was too insane and was going to bed at 4 AM almost every night. Since i started watching ephemeral rift in 6 days i can now sleep with these videos playing because they're just right and i now sleep at 11 -12am

I love these nature/outdoors videos as long as we still get to hear your whispering & talking (or flute playing!) as that is your own special ingredient that no one else can emulate in their videos.
Talking yes, not so much whispering right now mostly because how quiet it is compared to the environment. If I ever get back to the indoor content it’s possible I get back to whispering.

I am lucky enough to live right near where you get on Route 49. We take the last part of this ride to Ocean City all the time, weekly during the summer. Your video made me appreciate just how lucky I am :)

I’ve been a long time viewer, and listen nightly. This has been one of my favorites you’ve ever done. Just casual easy conversation. I find that whispering is too dull, and soft-speaking has a much better texture, if that makes any sense. Anyway, thank you, and good now!

Love the channel and love that you make the content that makes you happy. I've really been missing your outside the box storytelling though. The nature videos are a nice change of pace, but it feels like anyone could do them. Your channel booms because you come up with ideas that only you could find. Ocean City is my childhood vacation spot. Grew up going there with my parents and my Mom Mom and Pop Pop.

Ocean city is only 20 minutes away from me. I love it so much there as I have many fond memories of the boardwalk and candy kitchen. You can never go wrong with a visit to Ocean city!

We drive up to ocean city most years to stay a week or so in the summer with family- always a fun drive, reminds me of that!! Time to see if anything looks familiar. Love the parts where we're in/near the pine barrens, even if they're spooky to drive through at night and the music cuts out

I know this drive all too well! I lived in tuckahoe and the traffic there even gets crazy during the summer. Still in south jersey; just thankfully not on any of the shoobie routes now.

I used to fly in to Philly and drive to Seaville (near Ocean City) multiple tikes a year to visit my Grandpop until he died Thanksgiving 2014 from medical malpractice.
