People and kids don't go outside in these types of areas because there is nothing to do. Everything is so distant and separated that you need to drive in a car by yourself to get anywhere and do anything.

We here in Europa do not have such neighborhoods at this level. It's a beautiful place, very clean, the houses have a nice style, a bit big but they all look the same, not one white, another red, another green, etc.. it's a little sad that you don't see people around the neighborhood, you feel lonely, the shops are far away and every member of the family needs a car, as if there is room for the direction of a typical American movie, in conclusion I would easily fit in here, I greet you all from Romania / Europa❤ sorry for my english😅. in English I couldn't express myself the way I wanted, the Romanian language is a Latin language, just like Spanish, Portuguese, Italian. Thank you for this video 👍🏼🍻

@@carmenpozzi7357it depends on the neighborhood because where I live there’s people outside all the time
Not all American neighborhoods are like this. In my neighborhood you see people walking their dogs, playing basketball, barbecues etc all the time. all the shops in my neighborhood are also within walking distance. My neighborhood is mostly blue and White House’s, but a lot of houses are definitely different colors
@@DA-db9bi I live in Georgia (the state) and the same thing happens in our town but we have a huge forest near my neighborhood.
👌
In North Carolina, or in The South in general, if you are driving in a residential area and you see somebody walking, or doing something as such, it is respectful and expected of you to wave at them, even if you don't know them. Kindness is key here.
That's where I want to live when I start making money to make a living, The houses there look like mansions, They must be worth way over $300k
@@GoldenRing2023 Yeah avg the houses in these videos are 500k+, after the inflation going on rn, they aint no where near mansions trust me bro.
@@GoldenRing2023 I wanna live there to lowkey.
As a resident of North Carolina, most homes here are cheap. We purchased our 6 bedroom home built in 2014 a couple of years ago at only 297k and now after all of the renovations and upgrades we’ve added it’s now estimated at just under 400k. Our home and neighborhood is similar looking to these homes. It’s fairly inexpensive to live here, however it also depends on where you’re located. We are in a smaller city, but living in large cities like Raleigh or closer to the coast, the cost of living goes up. I prefer living in a much more rural smaller city, having lived in Chicago and Phoenix AZ for many years, I’m not too fond of big city living anymore. Areas like this in my opinion are preferable to raise a family etc.
@@christinabrown6442 Thank you for the info on the house prices in the city vs a rural area in NC, I can actually find a decent job that can pay for the house when I move out of my parents home, North Carolina is a dream come turn for me, I bet you get beautiful sunsets on summer nights
Me being from London, England - I can’t fathom what it’s like to live in one of these neighbourhoods, it looks so peaceful and quiet and a great place for a family to grow up in😂 Where I’m from, it’s crowded subsidised housing, narrow bumpy roads with a few potholes here and there as well as the traffic being horrendous, and that’s why London is best known for it’s transportation system and many people opting for that instead of driving a car, but in America - getting a car is a rite of passage and you’re perceived as weird or low class for riding a bicycle or anything other than a car.
That last part is false. I live in a very walkable small town that is bike friendly
You're not considered low class but having a car in the US is relatively inexpensive and people like wide-open neighborhoods that aren't noisy with large yards (gardens). Busses generally don't serve affluent neighborhoods and people wouldn't ride them even if they did.
@@Cam-vz2zkpeople don’t like wide open neighborhoods actually, that is a misconception.
@@DA-db9bi My town looks like this but It's near a forest. 😅
These are what the newer towns are looking like. Beautiful new homes. There's many popping up in the eastern states. Delware is nice because the real estate taxes are about $3,000 a year on a new home!😳 people are buying them as fast as they build them!
I don t think i would ever ever witness a neighborhood this good with my own 2 eyes... This is my dream .....
I live in Texas so we have many suburbs that look like this. We have suburbs much more grander and much more prestigious , And we don't even have the best suburbs in the country. We are like rank 24

USA 🇺🇸 a country of dream 😊
This is so beautiful and peaceful ❤️❤️
One thing I did notice is the sidewalk seems to only be on one side of the neighborhood instead a sidewalk on both sides. I know every neighborhood is different everywhere but seeing the sidewalk jump around was pretty interesting and confusing at the same time😅
It really does vary around here. Some places will have sidewalks on both sides, some on one, and even smaller or more rural roads might not have any.

Nice driving. Good speed, good camera quality. Well maintained area
To all the people in the comments that think it’s a negative that there are no shops or people, this is how these people (like me) want to live. If you seek entertainment or restaurants or nightlife or the beach you drive to it at your convenience. Then, when you have had enough of it , you don’t wait for a train or bus, you get in your car and get away from it at your convenience. I don’t want to look out of my window and see groups of people gathering around. If you like that then you go live in the cities.. these are the ‘burbs …… peace and quiet
He cities you are talking about can't be built in the USA because of zonification laws and these places are very expensive to live.
And I guess you are not ecologist, because this is the most inefficient way of buildig a city, making everyone drive much more that they should need, consuming more fuel.
If you live in the US but you don't have the money to buy a big house with a big backyard and pay the fuel you need just to move, the suburbs aren't beautiful and peaceful for you.
Sorry if I'm being rude but this things shouldn't be ignored.
@@churrascodupao6410 Well, I never had a conversation with an Ecologist before. So we should bring the millions of people from the suburbs and make them live in already overcrowded cities which would make the price of housing skyrocket. Well I’m sure you’ll figure it out at work tomorrow. By the way , no one “makes” someone drive to their house. They want to drive and get away from the city. These houses in this video were not built because they couldn’t afford to live in the city.
I come from Germany and my biggest dream is to live in America. Thanks for this video. I find it so relaxing. If I lived there I would go out and play every day. So I hope my dream will come true at some point

My parents live in this type neighborhood. It is not rich, it is middle class. The rich ones, the houses are bigger, more uniquely designed, and more spread out, and they leave more trees and woodland up on property. Those nicer ones are probably places for doctors and local executives.
Can you please help me to come there
@@FlorenceAnane-fp7rc It's really not that exiting there. Lot of space, you have to drive everywhere. Kind of boring actually. You are probably happier where you live.

@@saratemp790 la verdad no hay comparación el estilo de vida de la gente del vídeo es muy superior
Well it depends where you live now. If you live in some terrible ghetto somewhere in the world, then maybe I agree. But if you live in an ordinary, let's say, lower middle class place, somewhere in the world, you will probably be happier where you live. Because you already have all your friends and family there. And you fit into the culture. You will probably not be used to the American way, where we don't have as much city life.
One day I will move to the USA , buy a home and stay there with my family.

Da gusto vivir bajo esas condiciones. Excelente.
It looks like a film scene, everything is simple, small road and clean, small sidewalk, forest, and beautiful house and clean, with simple design .
I like that, Simplicity is the key of beauty .
It’s very difficult to stay in these places we barely see people there outside. but places are beautiful.
The video looks like it was taken in the evening when everyone is inside having dinner with their families. I live in a similar neighborhood and there are always people out and about on the street during the day with kids running between yards playing. But around 6pm people are either inside or in their back yard having dinner.
@woodsie315 I also live in a similar neighborhood in Toronto, Canada. The truth is that the population density is too low for pedestrian enjoyment. My European mother calls Toronto "the biggest village in the world." Little does she know, Toronto is among the largest and densest cities in Canada and North America.
@@woodsie315👌
Could also have to do with weather conditions. Summers here in NC and the southern states in general can be BRUTAL. Extreme heat and humidity, so nobody is outside unless they’re swimming or beating the heat out on the water somehow.

I wouldn’t mind living in a neighborhood like that. But at some point I would need to hear people outside talking and socializing or I would go crazy. I’m from nyc and as soon as I walk out of my house, I hear busy streets and transportation for as long as I’m out.
I moved several times in my life, but I ended up living in a residential neighborhood, third world but residential... and hearing absolutely nothing at night, hearing little during the day, not seeing anyone walking, may not happen. a car for hours is really overwhelming for me, we are sociable beings.

American neighborhoods like this always amaze me! Especially when I see them on movies and TV series. I sometimes wish I get to experience living in such a beautiful and peaceful environment.
One thing though, isn't it too bright for this to be considered an evening? What time was this video taken?
Appreciate you checking out the channel. It definitely is bright for evening. I’ll add some context that wasn’t in the description. The video was shot on May 22nd, 2022, beginning at 7:25 PM, which is 50 minutes prior to sunset at 8:15 PM. Since evening starts around 6 PM, or during sunset, the drive took place during the evening, based on my culture.
I specifically choose this time to drive so that the sky and clouds would look like they do.
The brightness might be due to the camera’s ISO combined with HDR. Not sure 🤔.
