Hi sir, I successfully cleaned the throttle body, intercooler and intake manifold with your helpful videos! Im going 45,000 km and those parts are really dirty.
I noticed the increased power and acceleration after driving it from Cubao to Las Pinas. It also became fuel efficient again.
Good thing the engine started without errors or fault codes. I really thank you for posting these videos.
Im planning to clean the EGR as well on the weekend. I would like to ask if further disassembling the module is ok? Its the 3rd or last part of the EGR that you were cleaning.
I can see on the video that it has an electronic connection/switch and I want it cleaned properly without getting the module wet.

Thank you very much!! I'm really glad to hear that you have successfully performed those jobs in your car.
There was a time where I tried to remove the bolts and disassemble the module (last part of the EGR) but the module itself won't separate from the base part. Even though I removed the bolts, something inside seems to hold it together, so I decided not to force it to prevent any further potential damage.
For that, as a safety measure, I wouldn't recommend disassembling it. If ever something happens, it would be hard since parts for the EGR are pretty expensive and hard to find.
The connection switch can be cleaned with an electrical cleaner. You can simply clean it by spraying, then make sure to let it dry before reinstalling it back together.
I hope this is helpful. Once again, thank you very much sir. Always take care.

    Hi sir,
Thanks for this very detailed and explanative video!
I've been looking for DIY videos regarding EGR cleaning and disassembling. Fortunately, yours are also for Hyundai Accent CRDi. 🙂
What spray did you use for cleaning the electronic sensors and wirings?
Keep on posting and great job!

Thank you very much sir for your comment!
I've used electrical contact cleaner for the rest of the sensors except the MAF sensor.
For the MAF sensor, I've used Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner.
      Thank you and will do!

      Hi sir,
I tried cleaning the MAF and MAP sensors, all other sensors, switches and wirings with contact cleaner.
It did really well. No harm done especially with the MAF sensor, as we know that this sensor is extremely sensitive and must be cleaned only with MAF sensor cleaner.
But I did some research before I used this cleaner. Contact cleaner can be used as long as we spray the MAF on intervals and at enough distance. The contact cleaner must be fast drying as well.
Just wanted to share this. 😁

@@DraftProject 2013 Hyundai i30 CRDi 1.6 Premium 6 speed auto. Ours has no soot buildup like yours. Why is yours so bad? Do you not use 100% Full synthetic 5W30 oil and new filter change every 7,500Km's? And do you not use Diesel Premium Vortex fuel that includes additives? Our i30 has 173,000 Km's and has NEVER had this work performed nor had the original EGR replaced. Starts perfect, runs smooth has huge torque and gets 50-60mpg always. I wonder why you must not change oil often enough or even worse NOT be using 100% fully synthetic Genuine Hyundai oil and oil filter for this engine?

Unfortunately, I couldn't answer some of your questions because the vehicle is not mine. I don't have that much idea about the history of the vehicle.
The vehicle utilizes Amsoil 5w-30 Fully Synthetic and has always been regularly changed at a specific interval.
Other than that, I don't really have that much information about it.
