Entre outras necessidades, há normas, especificações, exigências qualitativas e padrões técnicos a serem atendidos. Não consigo imaginar como que esse produtos, confeccionados de forma totalmente rudimentar, num ambiente inseguro e aparentemente sem nenhum tipo de controle chegam ao mercado.
That's not mass production by today's standards. All the handling to cut, shape, mold and punch all the holes could be done by a single machine within a second. All the cleaning, plating and do ffg worth could be done in another automated setup in a few minutes. This would all untouched by hands.
It's probably not sand. I'm guessing it's some sort of absorbent material to remove the excess of the fluid they had just applied before. But I could be wrong.

Impressionante como trabalham, produzem... Sem qualquer sofisticação, embora em um ambiente com alto risco de acidentes, sem o uso de EPI.
