Ok, but what an utterly complicated and un-necessary rigmarole for refilling. Here's the simple way. Drop all of the old TF from the pan and filter into the container. Measure it (4Li + 2.5 cups). Pour 4 li+ 2.5 cups into the funnel. Dah daaa!

Thanks for the video. I needed to get my air filter box out so that I could access the radiator hoses and remove and replace them. By removing the air cleaner box it allows for much better access to the hoses. 👍

Did it on my mazda 3 2010 2.5 and it was the same 4.5L out so 4.5 back in. i used the mazda fluid M5 they sell. now im gona re-do it all because i forgot to put the magnet back in the transmission tank haha. dont forget it its important to catch small wear and tear piece fragment, mine was fullll. i dont think it was ever done on my mazda and it was at 140 000km . the fluid was Black and smell like burn. ohh well gona have 100% clean fluid now lol.

What cleaner did you use to clean around the trans dipstick before removal? Why did Mazda engineers make access to the dipstick in such a thoughtless spot? Why doesn't the owners manual discuss when to change fluid or flush trans?

We just bought a used 2017 CX-5 and the previos owner had the transmission serviced but it looks like they used a red universal likely Valvoling Maxlife ATF which says it meets Mazda FX spec but seems thicker as I am shocked at how watery Mazda FZ blue fluid is.

Nice video! My client's own had a similar issue so I bleed the clutch and still to no avail. I've even replaced only the kit inside the upper clutch but the problem of a sponge clutch and no gear still persist. I've checked scrutingly for signs of leakage carefully while someone press the clutch pedal and found out that the down clutch nipple doesn't hold clutch hydraulic fluid! It goes out gently, and also the clutch fluid was replaced with a new one. Nevertheless, it's still very darkened in color. Please, how do I fix the issues? Darkened fluid, soft clutch pedal, and a most especially the leak at the down clutch bleeder or nipple.
