The thing about that is that you're not supposed to know Megalovania is even in the game until you hear it, and most people aren't even meant to hear it without really trying hard for it.
So much so that the song wasn't even included in the Official Undertale soundtrack. (Instead, "The Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans" is in the soundtrack)
For something that was meant to be a secret it ended up becoming synonymous with Undertale and Sans in particular
I have a theory that megalovania is the player's theme, sans already has his own so its the song when you are the "final boss monster"

It’s actually Asgore’s theme, which sounds really similar to Toriel’s Heartache theme because the musical motifs were made to be very similar

But hey this is ok. You should always play how you want the first time. If you had been forced to not kill anyone the first time this wouldn’t have given you such a reaction. Nows your chance to actually play the game. Remember, the neutral route is like diet Undertale. It only contains 10% of the story while Genocide has like 40% and Pacifist has more then half! If you enjoyed this I HIGHLY recommend playing both. On or off screen. Doesn’t matter to me. Although, I would kinda like to see it. If that’s possible.
Undertale is not just game, its an experience, they should enjoy the full undertale experience
And because of the Great story there are so many more story’s of different au’s (alternate universes) and the already huge community just gets bigger and bigger ( trust me it’s a lot to take in, especially for toby)

Deltarune is underrated
I kinda think the reason people prefer Undertale over Deltarune is because Undertale is already a finished game and already over. While Deltarune just being a Demo some people might not want to play Deltarune till' its a finished game and/or another chapter is released. So Deltarune might get more attraction when its finished or gets more content.

I don’t think this is necessarily a spoiler, since it’s never explained in game, but here it is:
All of the people that were telling you “yOu’Re GoNnA hAvE a BaD tImE” are potato brains that don’t know how the game works.
There are _technically_ as many endings as there are choices in this game, but they fall into three categories:
Pacifist: Don’t kill anyone, and go through every side-mission/interaction.
Neutral (you are here): Everything between Pacifist and this next one:
Genocide: If you play the game normally, but kill _everything_ you encounter... You will NOT get this ending. You have to go out of your way to grind the random encounters and kill absolutely everything until nobody comes to those random encounters anymore. The pace of the game completely changes, the music changes, the “important character” interactions/executions change dramatically.. Including being forced to fight sans.
And the instant you spare or fail to kill _anything,_ (except sans, and a specific enemy that only appears on one day out of the year,) you fail, and it becomes a “Neutral” run.
Hopefully they see this

Hey, AVG! I just watched the premiere live (great job by the way!) and I wanted to thank you guys. I have always wanted to play this game or watch a complete runthrough, but the only other gaming channel that does these kinds of games never did a complete run through. In the ruins there is literally a froggit who says “if you act a certain way, or fight until the monster is almost defeated, please, use some mercy human”
I just realized something, the bullets of the souls during the flowey battle is the items you find throughout the game.
bandage, tough glove, balley shoes, torn notebook, frying pan, gun.
they're like remnants of the souls scattered around, like they've been helping you the whole time.
I feel like they’re gonna do a pacifist ending. Can’t wait to see their reaction to the final boss

If you spare every monster, you get through a LOT more story. A “sparing” run is called a pacifist run. There is also a “True Pacifist” run, which you can only do once you reach the end of the Pacifist run.
Just gonna say some spoiler free stuff about the other routes.
Also like this comment if you support the campaign for Alan and DJ to do Genocide and Pacifist routes.
Pacifist: More gameplay content, including post-game stuff. More backstory revealed.
Genocide: The hardest route. Some backstory revealed. Only true gamers attempt this route.

Hey guys, big Undertale fan here. I won't spoil anything for you, but the most fun part of Undertale is the routes after. I recommend doing an all mercy run first and then a genocide, but you can do whatever, as the real fun of Undertale is the choices you make. Love your content and see you in the future.

Hi Alan! Hi DJ! Happy to see you finished your first Undertale play through! I just wanted to clear up a few things:
Flowey may have tricked you in the beginning, but after meeting Toriel (who is a goat btw), she said this:
"As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation. However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy."
You were told from the beginning that sparing was one, an option, and two, the correct thing to do. You trusted Toriel for then Flowey, yes? If that's true, why didn't you listen?
...But it's okay. You've learned that killing isn't necessary. This game is called "The RPG where no one has to die" for a reason, after all.
So... Why don't you take Flowey's suggestion? RESET your SAVE file, and play through the game a second time, this time without killing anyone. I'd love to see you try.

*Now that u understood how this game works, i will tell u some infos that will help u to enjoy the game*
*First,* There're so many different routes in this game, but there's only two Major routes and both are part of the Major story and gameplay.
- *Pacifist* ( Spare everyone )
- *Genocide* ( Find and Kill everone )
Little things to know about Genocide route are, it is technically a secret route, so you have to find a tutorial in order to "activate" the route. And also, this route is very *HARD* , trust me. 🎲
*Second,* about the *"Second Game"* of this game, that game is actually called *"Deltarune"* . That game is kinda like a sequel but also not. You will understand if you played it. I recommend you to *complete the first game first* to really understand what's going on in the second game. 🌼
There're also some secret things or easter eggs in both games. Those will not affect your gameplay at all but some of them are part of the *"Backstory"*

If you do play this game again, to get the TRUE Pacifist ending, you don't just have to spare everyone.
You have to go on a date with papyrus and alphys, and hang out with undyne since she won't hate you to the point of planning to murder you in cold blood.
I love this series. And I rarely use the word love. Undertale is such a great game, and your playthrough is awesome.

Do Deltarune after doing the "pacifist run", some of similar concepts show up and you'll want to know them for Deltarune.
A good idea probably, but I guess they SHOULD do Genocide first.

No, because genocide actually changes the rest of the game afterwards. Any other ending is distorted by playing genocide.
Flowey will mention how you killed everyone, getting the pacifist ending gives you a corrupted friends and family photo with crossed out faces. Just in general the game will never let you forget that you took the genocide route.
I'd recommend doing Genocide after every other kind of run if they don't want to ruin a future pacifist run.
I hope they'd still try the other endings after this one..
