Your forks losses shine over time bro...get them clear coated !
You bought a tire changing machine and did the tire yourself. I gotta say your dedication and self training to do tasks yourself knows no limits. My hats off to you indeed. Well done!!!!
I’m happy that you finally got yourself a proper work table, the older you get the harder it is to work on the floor:D Thanks for great videos!
I can't even imagine how much that carbon wheel cost. Loving the build CJ!
My thoughts as well.
I' say 4K USD,
I understand that its for YT content and so on but this project is a massive loss IMO. It'd be nice to see a budget break down at the very end..
The definite gain is the knowledge, and skills that he gets from building it up.
Around $5500
@@Nimitz405_TTV djeez stop throwing out crazy prices, its 2.5K for the rear wheel from the dealer, and another 2 k for the fuel tank, together with the rest of the bits i guess he is around 6-8K in spare parts as far as i can see
I start to sweat just thinking about it...
And those polished forks are gonna look amazing on the bike
Please remember to inflate the tyre about 25% past the operating pressure and then drop it back to the correct pressure as this will ensure it’s fully seated and sealed I’m an old tyre fitter
This series keeps getting better and better.
You need to clear coat the forks or they will dull quickly.
Where are you getting parts from or did you order a long time ago? Will you do a cost breakdown? 🙌
He usually provides a cost breakdown once he completes the rebuild
I agree and disagree with the clear coat. Why bother when this bikes not going to be ridden constantly.
@@streetlegalbuilds7644 that is a fair point. IMHO I would put back to standard, but it's not my build. 👍
Even clear on the forks will be a problem bc of the tight tolerance. That’s why all forks are anodized.
@@streetlegalbuilds7644 because the aluminium alloy is going to be way more vunerable to corrosion. Thats why they were anodised in the 1st place.
I love your enthusiasm - this project would have given me a breakdown!
CJ media I'm reaching out to say thank you for the videos I started watching your videos shortly after going to prison not only your videos but the passages at the end of each video turned my way of life around. Funny how sometimes things like that work out like they do.but am now out and just graduated from motorcycle mechanics institute. And going to church full time where I volunteer every chance I get. So as said the glory goes to God. And again thank you
Great work CJ only recommendation is to make the videos longer lol we want more lol!
🤣 I'll take that recommendation into consideration
So cool watching this project come along! Love your channel CJ and your positive attitude, you're a good dude!
Thank you man, I appreciate the kind words
Next time try mounting the polishing pad in a vice so you can run the part over the top of it and polish much faster. Great work.
Excellent idea cheers
Clear coat on a forks is a must if you wanna keep the shine, otherwise it will oxidize and get dull again.
Exelente !!! Me encanta tu trabajo y progreso
Keep it up ! 😀 Awesome works !
It's amazing how the rubber seals and grease in the steering stem survived the heat of the burn. I love how you are just busting out some tig welding.
Que rodas lindas nunca tinha visto algo assim!
yesssss, been waiting for this!!
that carbon wheel is a beautiful piece of art for those bikes. great video
Thank you mate made my day.🤝
Just freaking awesome your touch.💯
Beautiful rebuild I love the episode

Great job brother! The nem music mix, awesome, i like it.
Greetings from Europe, in Hungary. 🙂
Greetings to you sir! I'm glad you enjoy the new mix!
Good job, brother, I'm waiting for the next video, greetings from Poland🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
I think it's great that you're doing these videos I love the videos and I've been following a lot of your videos though they need to go a little longer
I think what you really needed, was a bigger buffing pad to polish up those fork legs 🤣
Ich habe selber eine 1090 R.
Aber die 1000er ist ein Traum.
Du machst einen super Job!!!!!!!!
Gruß Thomas
I love your passion bro.. thats my dream to work like this to superbikes..
Love from india
Every time that instrumental starts at 1:50, I start screaming "HUNNID BANDS, HUNNID BANDS! 10 BANDS, IN MY RIGHT HAND! 10 BANDS, IN MY LEFT HAND!" and then I realize the song might be relevant for this rebuild! 🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 that's hilarious that you know that melody I laughly audibly haha
Watching you from Bangladesh 🎉
Don'tt forget to have the wheels balanced. Love the content 🔥
CJ, take the pads out of the calipers next time, so the WD-40 doesn't compromise the pad. You want them oil-free. As for the TIG effort on the triple clamp, just see if you can get a nice billet clamp in red or black. Worth the money.
Love your videos i feel very excited
Good Job my Man
Cheers Maurice
Good job bro, see you next part6 😃👍
Cheers
Hey bro good to see you again 🎉
You remember me 😊
You make a right discsion by making those shocker covers silver
Bellissima 😍😍😍👍👍👍
Awsome love you!
I really wouldn't want to spoil the fun. But what, if anything, of the old motorcycle (burnt out) will be used at all on the "new" one?? Just a tought.
What are you talking about?? You’ve tig welded at my house! 😂
Good work brother Godbless
abuebo videito nuevo de CJ media ojala la siguiente moto sea KTM
It's still a long way to go.❤❤❤❤
I need to look into getting one of those tire changers
It's a game changer man! It took me a bit to get the hang of it but I quickly realized its actually a huge time saver. I knocked the dismantle and assemble quicker than I usually do on a machine 😅
Love your channel CJ and how well organized you are, it would be super nice if you upgrade your garage, maybe some epoxy and some banners on the walls, after all, that is your workspace.
I love your video brother love from Shillong Meghalaya north east india balat hajong vellage
Nga ruh leh bro...😂ng mut ta um don khasi
Hi CJ, polishing the forks was a brilliant solution, kudos. I guess it would better if you apply some coating or wrapping protection so that they do not lose the brightness over time. By the way, the carbons wheels are so pretty...........
Thank you Ricardo! The wheels are beautiful! Do you think ceramic coating the forks would hold the polish?
I don't see a reason to note work. Actually it could enhance it. Just do it the right way. I had a Kawasaki cerâmica coated and its easy solo bright, also stickers would not resist long😂😂😂
Sorry for the wrong spell.
Hi cjmedia im your #1 fun in the philipines❤
I admire your skills, man you're cool
Skills?
Ordering parts is not a skill.
Replacing parts isn't a skill.
Over capitalising and throwing lots of money away is not a skill.
Nice 🎉
Those aluminium forks are gonna oxidize pretty quickly unfortunately. Maybe some clear coat to keep them looking pristine would work?
Imagine if you got the trellis frame chrome plated, Oh Man!!!! With that tank it would look insane!!!!
Loving this build.
nice work! man the rear wheel so light you lift it with 1 figner LOL
I really hope he does a cost breakdown when it's all finished
I will 😁
@@CJMediaOfficialI think the cost of the tank and the carbon wheel will really hurt.
Make sure when you tig weld in the future, that you use pure Argon for your shielding gas. Tig doesn't like to weld using Argon c02.
Don’t give on welding all tig it good skill set to have practice on scrap metal parts Loving time and effort are putting into your build live and learn and prospect
Im waiting for the part of MV agusta brutale🤤
Masyuukkkk ❗
Those forks lookin great 😍 recommend some sealant(clearcoat) so you don't need to polish after every ride 😉
Well comme brother♥️♥️♥️♥️
kudos to you on this build.
Matt going to take a piss 🤣🤣dirty garage guy . CJ definitely!!!!!! !!!!!! workshop professional now !!! !!! !!!!
Nice
13:47 ♥️
nice dud
How i wish to own even just a 400cc ninja, i hope luck will come to me in the near future. Life here in the Philippines is not easy but taking a break and watching you doing what you love to do is so therapeutic. Please continue to do what you're doing.
Ι would be so f afraid of touching thay wheel or even try to fit tyres 😅 God damn it looks dope
Sempre achei seus projetos muito doido agora tenh certeza que você que e doido kkkkk - Brazil
Broo 🔥🇵🇭
love from india
You should put the seals on the stanchion firet and then seat into fork body. And wrap some tape around the top of the stanchion before sliding the greased seals onto the tube. Seals tear easily and will leak oil. Speakingnof oil, by all means measure the amount of oil for each fork. But you should also measure the level of the oil from the top of the fork
