I feel cod lobbies would be a little more toxic if they switched back to the old matchmaking where you’d stay in the same lobby.

Lobbies were where boys became men. Nothing cut deeper than being called a Squeaker at 14yo back in 09.
Call Of Duty was more than a game back then, it was a community.
I get comm banned on a regular basis because I refuse to let the good ol days die. Gaming is soft smh.
The vile filth in those lobbies for cod could easily get you slapped with a hate crime nowadays.
The black ops 1 lobbies were intense af. There were grown ass men trying to overcome a mid life crisis and 10 year olds who just discovered the world of the mic

I miss old CoD so much. I was a single digit kid during the cod 4-mw2 period, but was always insanely good at it because it was all I played, I can't imagine how fun and community-oriented CoD was back then, as a kid I couldn't really appreciate it. My uncle constantly tells me of a story of him playing with with and he had to tell people to shut up, you're shit talking a 6 year old lmao
Man I miss those shit talk days.. we would ring a group of randos, and so prank calls all night just hanging out in a lobby. Made some cool friends back then
