When I buy Delta 8 from a gas station they give me a piece of paper with different THC % things to show cops if I get stopped
They convert CBD or other cannabinoids into delta 8 in a lab usually, it’s a phytocannabinoid that is in regular weed but usually only has a super small amount

I was afraid to even smoke since everytime my heart would start pounding like fucking crazy. That was until I tried delta 8, and it was such a smooth, and mild high that I actually prefer it over delta 9. That being said experienced thc smokers will definitely find delta 8 lighter than the usual stuff they smoke. Delta 8 will still give them a high, but not as intense. Delta 8 and Delta 9 are both psychoactive substances that give a feeling of euphoria. They both just differ in intensity, as delta 9 thc is about twice the intensity of delta 8 thc.

@@loganwitte3477 Stop spreading misinformation. Indica/sativa are growth traits in the plant, it has nothing to do with a head/body high, strength, or any of that. Indicas are short, stocky, and dense with wide leaves, sativa's grow tall, lanky, and fluffy buds with thin leaves.
3:33 what Kyle said, that's not true. I work in a smoke shop (not a dispensary but just a regular tobacco shop) and we sell Delta 8 products, and I live in California where weed is legal as well. So Delta 8 isn't restricted to the illegal states haha

A friend of a friend owns a smoke shop and he just repackages normal thc carts and sells it as delta 8 so he doesn’t have to deal with getting all the dispensary licenses and shit.

It really depends on the edible. If you eat a high dosage then yes you're gonna lose your mind for a short while.

@@duke9620 not quite the same but my friend had some 25 mg delta 8 edibles and he offered me one, obviously took it. 2 hours later he offered me some more since i wasn't feeling anything so i took two more (combined total of 75 mg at this point). Go home and don't feel shit and go to bed like 12 hours later feeling like a dick for making him waste that much since one gets him high as shit. I don't even smoke or anything regularly so i should have basically no tolerance. I almost think delta 8 is a scam or placebo bc a few weeks later i take like 8 solid hits (nothing giant but definitely not the pussy hits some people take) and i hold them for like 2 min each time and still felt nothing. I guess it depends on the person, i usually have a high tolerance to stuff but i was completely sober with this shit

so heres a question ive had for awhile; i discovered delta 8 a few months ago and ive had the same question since,if i have a delta 8 vape in my car and i get pulled over and the officer sees it could i be charged for driving under the influence? and also the gummies dont last long for me ive tried 2 different kind of gummies and ive had rice Krispy and the effect was there but it didnt last hours but then again i smoked regular pot for 7 years before does that make a difference

as for the synthesis of D8 i believe it's somehow converted from a raw hemp distillate.
they usually spray the distillate on the flower. no harsh chemicals are used in the spraying process

As a normal toker for 8 years, I've just recently been smoking a 50/50 delt-8 with cbd dab. Smoking delta-8 alone is very energetic, like a great sativa, but it doesn't have much of a body buzz as as pretty much any normal marijuana strains have. What I enjoy is the 50/50 dab over just a d8 dab as with the cbd in there it makes the effect very similar to just smoking normal weed. 2 big dab hits of 50/50 and I'm blasted like normal 1 big delta-9 dab hit. I have smoked 4 ounces of delta-8 infused flower (5 different strains), and it all pretty much feels the same per strain with slightly varying changes such as buzz length and intensity. I've narrowed that down to with infused bud it's hard to judge how much d8 you're getting per hit as it's coated evenly as possible, but isn't dispersed through the bud as evenly as the d9 within marijuana itself with normal weed. Also the cbd content in the hemp flower which was coated does make a slight difference. With d8 concentrates you can know how much you're getting per hit, and can adjust to what you need to feel it right. D8+cbs mixed dabs opens up the buzz to a fuller more natural feeling as cbd helps bring the buzz into a calmer less energetic state with body relaxation plus the normal thc effect. A 100mg d8 thc and 100mg cbs hit 0.2g dab of mixed will send you on a kite for a couple hrs. This was very surprising to me as I smoke an 1/8th every 2 days normally with straight real sensi. To feel this similar effect from such a small dose of delta-8 thc is fine by me haha, KEEP IT LEGAL!! Kyle definitly try some Cloud 8 Dab Diamonds if you every come across them when you can smoke. It's the brand I go for since their quality is on point. They sell 2g jars of the dab diamonds, each jar is 1g d8 mixed with 1g cbd, and presentation is 2 crystal pyramids of the dab in the jar for $45 lol. Well worth it!

@16:30 - just like with the weed boom in colorado, the first few years will see a spike in usage by the curious, but after that, things will taper back down and even be better than before. portugal is a terrific example. the thing is, even if common usage does spike up a little, it would be legal so people wouldn't be as scared or ashamed to seek treatment for the very real and serious health problems that come from irresponsible drug use. if they don't want to seek treatment, well that'd be going against human nature for self-preservation.

Update New York STILL has not opened a single dispensary and recreational sales are non-existent at medical-certified dispensaries. At the moment on Long Island (East of NYC) each town has the right to opt out of allowing marijuana businesses and dispensaries to open in their town. Shits crazy rn

Most Delta 8 consumers use it as a concentrate though it could be used on hemp buds, like all distillates you require a form of acid or base to do the reaction so I mean yeah there’s chemicals in it but no more than a dab, unless it was live resin in which I have yet to see a “Live resin” delta 8 I don’t think it’s possible too little of it in the bud

I live in a state where cannabis flower or concentrate containing >0.3% Delta-9 THC is very much illegal. Literally any amount of concentrate is a felony. An ounce of concentrate is 2-20 years in prison. Any form of Delta-8 THC is completely legal here. you can go into any smoke shop in any big city and buy Delta-8 flower or concentrate, no problem.

Delta 8 is made by isomersation. You basically use CBD a weak lewis acid heat and an auto stir for several hours. Longer it runs the higher % of Delta 8 you get. Isomersation will convert CBD into mostly delta 9 at first, but it converts the longer it runs. Personally I like the D8 Shatter and distillate as long as it's a legit lab it's great. As long as the base CBD is derived from hemp it's legal. The D8 sprayed on hemp via a solvent I'd avoid...
Better yet, get Delta 9.

Something that nobody seems to bring up in the conversation about drug legalization is that many illegal drugs are essentially bootleg and knock off alternatives to drugs that exist.
There is no world where meth made in a trailer becomes legal, the question is are we going to legalize over the counter sales of Adderall because that is a legitimate product made under legitimate health and safety standards.
I just don't see a world where stuff like oxycontin is recreationally legal, so it's always going to be a controlled substance. And if it's a controlled substance, then there have to be consequences for breaking chain of custody or having it without a prescription.

You can get out of any 'high' even edibles. Get a bottle of black peppercorn balls (the ones you put in a pepper grinder), throw 3-4 into your mouth and chew them up real good. Make sure the terps from the peppecornr gets all over your palate on your tongue real good and you will snap out of any state you feel like you are too fucked up in a few seconds. If 3-4 pepper balls don't work chew some more. Hope this helps someone. 🙃

I don’t mess with d8 for this reason, it’s been shown that delta 8 contains unknown THC isomers, because it’s made by using a solvent on CBD, while most of the CBD becomes d8, some of it breaks down into unknown isomers which have unknown effects on the body.

I work at a smoke shop n sell this shit all day it’s pretty much diet weed same feeling just not as intense and doesn’t last as long if you have a tolerance or smoke on a regular basis then it’s a waste of money but if your old or new to weed and want to experiment then delta 8 is prob the way to go it lasts like 15-20 min MAX the edibles just make you wanna take a nap that’s about it.
