Depression is not one thing, there are many ways it appears and trust me, the hungry monster can be a great motivator eating you away and you will do anything to stop it for a second, you are like a dog and Depression your master.

I mean if my best friend cut off my limbs and didnt pull me away from the lava and some old man i looked up to shows up and laughs and says "Gooooodd..." While im burning, then my wife dies and my best friend who cut my limbs off raises one of the kids my dead wife has and that kid thinks i killed his father which is me, id be pretty damn depressed too.

Remember that Vader is responsible for Everything related to the Empire including The Most Evil Sith Lord of all Time, Padme's death, his lost of his children, Ruination of Jedi Order. He has every reason to hate himself

This is messed up. Really. Vader had so many mental problems. This is great video. We can imagine everything. Every moment,his memories. What he saw at the Temple,experienced. His visions. You know I have a theory about Darth Vader after A New Hope. I don't think he was the villain in the following two movies. After the death star was destroyed, Vader didn't seem as determined enough to stop the rebels. Yes, in the opening of Empire Strikes Back he led the assault on the ground on Echo base on Hoth, but if you watch the rest of the film and you watch Return of the Jedi he kind of works on his own really to bring down the emperor. For example, in The Empire Strikes Back when Chewbacca started to attack the Stormtroopers, Boba Fett raises his blaster, and Vader immediately pushes it down why would he do that? He could have had C-3PO destroyed but he didn't, Return of the Jedi, he knew that the stolen Imperial shuttle had Luke on board yet still let shuttle through. When Luke surrendered himself to Vader and the Imperial officer asked to search for more, Vader said, "If you find anyone else, bring them to me." Now that doesn't sound like somebody who's working for the Empire who's working for the emperor, that sounds like somebody who's going to use someone and a group of people to help his needs and his objectives. So if you watch all three movies after reading this, you'll begin to see what I'm talking about. I would love for the creator of this content to discuss this with a little more detail
Interesting review of the difference between Anakin’s and Vader’s memories. Of how they remember things.
Vaders problem was that he was an "emo" . He just wanted to wallow in his pain and depression. A half good psychiatrist could have pulled him out of his spiral...I dont get the suit thing though because palpy told him to adjust his suit however he wanted at one point. After that the next day he should have been a friggin gymnast/ contortionist !

I think the explanation was that he couldn't adjust it that much that well because of how long he'd need to be in a tank or something.
8 foot tall gymnast lightsaber cyborg and a suit that could handle sith lightning would have been worthwhile adjustments.

Like Ajunta Pall, Anakin had found out the hard way that the end result of turning to the Dark Side for "enlightenment" is spending yrs of one's existence trapped in a depressing prison of their own making. He thought he could make the Dark Side serve his will despite Yoda's warning in ROTS, but he ended up realizing that the user ends up serving its will instead.
dude what are you talking about? his power resides in the dark side any negative feelings he possesses only amplifies his powers, that’s why he never upgraded his suit because the constant pain made him stronger. i refer u to the “get your shit together speech” morty gave summer.

Not meant to be a criticism but anyone notice more recently the bits of dialogue that repeat due to edits?
"He thought they would have taken his child, for it was certain he would have been well gifted in the Force" mah not certain. Revan child for exemple, even if he was a talented politician, wasn't know to have been gifted (he was probably a bit sensitive, forcefully, with two powerful force sensitives parents but otherwise not that much).... and speaking of force sensitive children, I wonder what happned to Ki Adi Mundi children after the war 🤔(it has never been consider).

In the end it was indeed confessing Luke that he was his father, that Anakin started to come back, he stopped lying to himself that he was a different individual altogether.

As a Twilight Lord. Depression has given me fire. Maybe that is strength or the illusion of it. Either way, I’ll never stop writing and I’ll never stop adding culture and unusual patterns to its vocabulary eloquence..
Being in such a blind rage that you Have to stop out of consideration that the intensity itself may very well end you because you're damaging your body That much is, painfully relatable. I once had to force myself to stop smashing my fists and face Through the wall because I finally noticed how much blood I had lost.

I think Vader’s anger clouded his judgment, even a stern and strict master like mace. recognized that the chancellor was too powerful to be left alive, I truly think there could have been a turn of events where Anakin was a hero!
Obi-Wan Kenobi was right there were Anakin told Padme his plans, even if he could not listen well, since he was hiding in the spaceship, pretty sure his skills with the force would allow him to feel what Padme and Anakin were talking about
As someone with depression I can confirm that the weakness is real
I've dealt with depression for quite a long time, many better days, but some worse. Not having the strength to get out of bed even to eat, that could be considered a weakness. I know different people experience and deal with depression differently. I hope you're doing well, @kaidorade1317.

I would love a live action movie of this time in Vader's life, if done RIGHT. If not live action, then an anime of it. I could see Darth Vader being spoke to by a visage of Anakin Skywalker, pushing him to anger. The visage shouldn't look like a Force Ghost. Maybe, a red, incomplete image, to symbolize that little bit of the Light inside.
I always wondered what Vader would be like had he not lost his body and reached his full potential. He'd definitely be stronger than his dusty ass master.
Vader's Armor and his depression were the worst punishments he could've received for helping to destroy the Jedi and bring down the Republic.
Palpatine really ensured Vader could do nothing against him.
