I don't think using indecision was right. It's as though he has adhd. Vader is usually quick to decide. It's more that he stops doing something because it's at a crossroads and he knows that if he makes the choice, something bad will happen.

I find it rather endearing how loyal, even selflessly loyal, Sidious is to the Rule of Two in this adaptation. He is a monster of course. Sadistic and cruel. Yet even this monster is willing to sacrifice his own life for a greater ideal. To ensure only the migtiest man is the Lord of the Sith. He encourages Vader to attack and supplant him. He pushes him to be better than him and take his throne and life.....if he can. In his own twisted Sith way he tries to make his student greater than himself. Even at the cost of his own demise. If Lord Bane could see this version of Sidious he would applaud and call him a true and loyal Sith. For like the the founder of the Order himself he places the Sith above all, even his personal power.

1:00 the fact that the emperor had Wolf Pack and the Courusant Guard present at his aide (which to my knowledge are two of the toughest and elite types the republic-now empire have) with vader/Anakin being able to kill them with no problem just puts me in awe at how powerful he is.

SWT"s original plan was to have the troopers go flying across the room and crashing into the walls when they were getting shot.

I'm an old SW fan, opening night 1977, I was there. I was there another 6 times before they took it out of our cinema. This interpretation took my breath away. The Vader I've always wanted to see. The conflicted, torn, and haunted Vader, grappling with his connection to Padme, the desire for revenge against Palpatine, and the thirst for absolute power. Well done, my hat is off to you.

Love this. The most heartbreaking part is Vader reflecting on his past as Anakin so he could feel a slight sense of his old normality and for the love of Padme. The bit when he hugs her but he realises it’s just the emperor, then Vader deep breathes in panic and he suddenly realises again what he is. One of the best Sith Lords in the galaxy
I find this fan film AWESOME AND AMAZING! The scene when Vader sees Padme is heart breaking but beautiful.

This is genuinely the most incredible Star Wars fan short that I’ve ever had the privilege of watching. I’m looking forward to more.
Rewatching this masterpiece today i noticed something obvious but very powerful.
Vader will always reject with violence or brutality his former name,but when Padmè calls him Anakin,Vader had no power at all over Skywalker,he can't repress his former self,Anakin's persona was fully victorious.

It's so cool to see Vader at his best, being actually powerful and ruthless (whilst sometimes slightly conflicted). We never got to see enough of this in the movies, and there is huge potential for content that goes beyond and delves into the many unanswered questions. Please keep pushing back the veil and revealing ever more - I trust that the flavour will feel consistent & cannon upheld along the way. And I must say this was all-round well executed, exciting, and shows great promise. A great future in this, I see!
Love it. It managed to capture what you’d expect from Vader at the beginning of his time in the suit. Vulnerable and crippled by guilt. Over time, his pain turns to hot boiling rage, which explains how Vader becomes much more evil later on. Very well done sir.

That's a bad way to look at it. What happened was Disney told him he could make a star wars fan film as long as there were no advertisements and that crowdfunding wasn't allowed. What does Disney do? Wait about a month to claim this video as their's and proceed to monetize it in their favor. Lucasfilm is run by a bunch of fucking hypocrites. More like congratulations, Disney has robbed you at gunpoint and proceeded to make money off of something you put time and effort into making. The parademons in that movie look more real than anything in this fan film. I'm not saying JL is a good movie but it does have better CGI. The mini gun scene is still one of my all time favorite Vader scenes, especially when compared back to back with Kylo making it seem like a big deal to catch one.
Vader made Kylo's freeze ability look like the work of a younglin.
Grandmaster Dragonborn before Kylo Ren that force power didn’t even exist. He only needed to freeze a single bolt, because that’s all there was... he has Vaders blood in him

Kinda ironic how it plays out. Shows how much they truly care to embrace the heart of the stories they tell. They're more in line with their own villains than their heroism. This is absolutely amazing! As an avid Star Wars fan in 2023 seeing the pitfalls of Disney's new canon, I can't help but say that this is just what the Star Wars universe needs. The story really fleshes out Vader as a character, especially with his anguish over Padme's death during the transition of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire following Revenge of the Sith, and the special effects and acting far surpass those of any other fan film I have seen on CZcams.
Who Wants a VADER series after watching this masterpiece?!

The key difference here, is that one of these movies was made entirely by fans, and the others were all made by a big name in the industry, and yet it seems if they had worked with these people, their movies, AND this movie, both could have been much better than they are presently.

I come back to watch this probably once a year or so. I’m blown away every single time. This is absolutely incredible. So well done. Makes me so sad knowing what we could have got with the right people at the helm at Disney.
This is a brilliant masterpiece.
The acting, the musics, the effects, the feeling, the love for Star Wars, the obviously painful life of Vader... Everything is great.
Disney could learn a lot from u all.
