- New Replacement rear quarter panels from Wolf Steel for my Honda CRX project cars.
I believe Wolf Steel is the only shop currently making patch panels for the Honda CRX. They are based out of Quebec Canada and so far service and delivery have been great. Follow along to see me install these panels fully and get these cars back to their former glory. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Thanks for sharing! They look like they have a more pronounced "flare" versus the gradual widening on the stock quarter panel. I'd love to see a more detailed breakdown of the comparison and how they differ. The arches look a bit non-uniform as well.
Yes the bare metal makes them look a little bit more extreme than they are in real life I think. I was thinking the same thing when I first opened them up. The areas that are more heavily metal worked through the process are a shinier than the rest of the panel and it makes it appear like it really flairs out a lot. Once I get them fit up a bit better it might be easier to compare factory shape to the shape of these new rear quarters.

I’m in Edmonton and have 5 CRX. I’m looking for fenders front and rear. How much did you get them for?
@@MrDanielknew Here is the link to their website. www.alfaparts.net/crx.htm the part prices are in USD as they sell most of their products down to the US. So they will convert that price posted to CAD when you order. Shipped from Quebec to Alberta was about $1900 for 2 sets. So not exactly inexpensive.

I have something in the works with Wolf Steel, so maybe hold off for another few weeks, I might have something exciting to share that might really help out your project.

Thanks, I'm working with Wolf Steel right now on something that might be pretty cool, so that actual replacement is on hold at the moment. Working on some other rust repair that I'll post a video shortly on, and then back to rear fender replacement hopefully in 4 weeks or so.
Hello, I know that this video is old but I have few questions about these quarter panels.
Have you got any photos or video how does these quarter panels looks like on a car? Did they look like the original ones (I mean shape of wheel arch)? It is hard to evaluate from this video and also pictures from the wolf steel store. I know that many people use quarter panels from civic IV gen to crx but they quite different. Those for crx have different shape from those from civic? Quarter panels from civic are cheap compare to those, but if these ones to crx have shape of arch as the original if think they are worth money.

I will have an update video out shortly. The arc of the wheel well look pretty good on the wolf steel panels, but trim pieces (door moldings) will not fit properly out of the box, and the contour down the wheel opening is also much more pronounced. Kind of like if you added fairs to the rear of the crx.

Let's just admit your after crxseth. He has 10 X what the people are asking for organically he has exactly what oem spec asking for.
crxseth knows exactly how to restore a CRX. His builds are incredibly nice, and level of detail is next to none. Wait till the next video you will see this is going to be going in a direction that is much different.
