I'm picking up my first CRX today. Its a project but I'm getting it for $500. Ive helped my buddy work on his for years he has 4 of them. Luckily he has amassed a large inventory of extra parts so I will be getting deals on whatever I need for the car. I'm super excited to start this build.
Congratulations!! Good luck on your build!
You don’t really notice how aged something has gotten until you see it in new condition. Wild. Good work!
amazing video. you do a great job at restoring factory and not just going buying
Chętnie oddał bym moje Ek3 w ręce crx seth-a. Fajnie gość robi te Hondy 😊👍🇵🇱
I wish i had your knowledge and patience. Your builds inspire me with my crx! Come to nashville sometime and help me out! Lol. Amazing work my man
That’s some sterling work.
So good seeing someone keeping these awesome cars on the road.
For my own, it’s in my garage undergoing its timing belt service.
Thank you for your content. Currently in the middle of restoring mine. I hate using it as daily because I haven't reached 80k miles..
Es un duro en las crx las desmonta toda y las vuelve a montar 💪
Perfect video I just started restoring my headlight as well. I bought some replacement headlights. Now im looking to restore my oem ones.
You do incredible work Seth! Love the videos and what you’re teaching!
Hi Seth.
I’m very happy that you also included these tutorial videos...
…it saves me from having to do them myself 🤣🤣🤣 !
Well done Seth. Just like always
Amazing as always!
Better than factory! Amazing job Seth!
Well done mate u doing wonderful work 🌹 waiting for tour new project
Looking good 🔥🔥🔥
If you want to try next time Put it in the oven at 475° for 7 to 8 min and the glue comes out easily, but remember you have to used gloves. Nice work.💪🏼
I’d definitely recommend an oven like I stated in the video.
Yes.same method I used In the early 90s
475 is way too much bro, i would rather go with 210
@@KungFuRandur I would recommend using the lowest setting your oven can go to for 15-20 minutes. Usually around 200 degrees F.
@@crxseth yeah men, i Apologyse,i make the comment before i see that part. But Excellent JOB 💪🏼
another great video Seth.
Always do great work, still have the 4 rhd Crx’s I need to get rid of 🎉
I love your content man. Especially when I find the glimpses of Adams polishes things…throwback glass cleaner bottle? You have great taste!
I did learn some stuff. thanks man, I appreciate the video ^^
Ain't nothing like watching a master at work!! Best content hands down!!
god damn man, you work fucking wonders on these taillights. I wanna be like you when I grow up, lol
premium content
Amazing!
You should try 3D One to compound and polish save you a step and time.
Buen trabajo 👍 💪
I’ve made a makeshift oven with a cardboard box. With a partitioned covered in foil so the heat gun its directly facing the light.
I would 3d print and redesign those headlight casing..😂😂
Let's go!
Where we going??
@rstezza going to support the homie Seth with the views and like. Duh

Nice restoration seth, wish that i could have a talented skill like you,i currently working on my 88 sedan RHD.But i cant find the aircond vent for the left passenger since its badly damaged while the driver side aircond vent got a broken joint that attached the blade.Anyways do you know how to fix the joint for the aircond vent blade? Also does the resto tuner sell warning sticker and interior sticker for sedan version. And sorry for my bad english.
Seth, maybe you should have primed your master cylinder before putting it back in the system 🤔.
There are always better ways to do things. I don’t always follow the rules.
aren’t you supposed to measure the push rod pin to the new brake MC to ensure it is within specs? especially when using an aftermarket brake MC the spec could be way off. when you fill the brake fluid can you share which bleeding method you prefer? thank you.
I’m not sure on that. I can adjust it on the pedal if I need to. I’ll just use a hand vacuum pump on each caliper to bleed.
@@crxseth Honda service manual referenced a special tool to measure the push rob pin to new MC but I have not seen anyone on YT use it. Some prefer vacuum bleed, some pressure, and some reverse. Wondered about your personal preference which method.
i think that the dislike comes from a guy who tried to clean his car headlight but he didn't succeed 🤣🤣
How do you think a chrome paint inside the housing would have done? think it would have made them brighter?
Hard to say. Chrome paint doesn’t ever lay down well. That’s one reason I haven’t done this to headlights yet. Not a good way to re-chrome plastic.
@@crxsethvery true. Tends a run a little. Guess would have to keep the can further away and let the paint atomize a little. Would have to put multiple coats on I’m sure
So you reused the old sealant? I tried to do the oven method and warped the lens badly. Maybe I left it in too long. Luckily it was broken and just for practice.
I added some butyl tape sealant to help reseal it.
Great job, I m dreaming I could be that generous with my CRX. :)
Is it possible to restore a break booster? I mean mécanicly, my break pedal is so smooth, I go all the way down waiting at a redlight.
Also, it feels like it gonna be a pain to get to unplug it under the dash board.
I’m not entirely sure. You could have a leak elsewhere in your system.
@@crxseth thx for the repply.
The brake fluid lvl is constant so I don't see whats else could it be!
@@RustikMcLovinsounds like air in your lines or bad brake fluid.
@@armankordi Thx for ur reply.
I think the brake fluid is good with no air in it, but I ll change it so I ll be sure.
ever thought about doing a 1st gen?
It’d be a lot more difficult with the parts even harder to find and the engine swaps more difficult.
@@crxsethTotally understand lol
do you sell these cars mate?
Yes, I have sold several cars.
Crxseth do you have a any door panels you willing to sell me
I probably need new ones since the plastic is cracked... Thanks to the pre owner using break cleaner and only god knows what to clean them after another brainless pre owner tinted them...
Would like to know who did it so I can stick- I better stop now before I get banned
❤❤❤
