As someone turning 13 in 6 days. I’ve had this happen to me started at young ages first time anything happened to me I was 9. It literally leaves scars in your brain experienceing that sort of this in person (this mostly happened in person with family members!) it’s 100% freighting. People make jokes about uncle raping or trying to sleep with them. But tbh I have this uncle who lowkey tried to do this I was 11!! He was on a lot of drugs and he even raped my mother. It’s seriously wrong.

Plus it's not even their fault. A child in this situation is a victim of abuse. Acting like they bear responsibility for what they were made to go through is victim blaming.
I was sexually assaulted when I was eight or nine. I've had a man reach out to me and ask me to describe the trauma in detail for him so he could get off to it, and somebody I thought was my friend told me it was hot and she wished it had happened to her. The internet is a really scary place for kids, especially ones that have already been through trauma. Stay safe out there.

hi buddy, i'm 18 and my dad never gave me mobile phone before i graduated from high school. As a result i wasn't quite into social media, though i badly wanted to get in. finally a few month ago i went there, and i chose to leave it forever for good. IT IS CREEPY, VERY VERY CREEPY.

I signed up because of what happened to me at just 3 years old. All because 64 years ago my mom hired a male babysitter. Only my brain remembered & it shaped my whole life. Never trust anyone to be left alone with your child. Not one of my 3 daughters were ever sexually abused, because they knew to trust me and to tell me everything. Thank God.

What is wrong here is women grow up a lot faster than men. at 13-15, a female is grown up almost fully. This is why it was possible to disguise her from 37 to 15 without any change in height. This video gave me memories i wish i could forget but it made a huge impact. I love that there are people who are willing to help out other kids and teens with these problems. I was 11. 11 when I received a snap friend request. I accepted it. It was someone who I thought was at my school. We talked for 1 hour until he sent a nude picture. He convinced me to send one back and that it was ok. I listened to him. I sent the photos. In the later months, I received a text message from a random number. It said that I had to send more pics and meet up otherwise they will send the pics I took months ago to my friends and family. I didn’t know what to do. I attempted suicide.
You all know I am alive as I am writing this comment, but I may not have been. My life turned upside down because of these people. Please, whatever someone says, don’t listen to strangers on the internet. The world isn’t always cupcakes and rainbows, and people WILL exploit you and take away your rights. All I ask is please, please, please don’t fall for these people

I was a victim of a child predator online once. Well, not once, but this was kind of more subtle and less obvious.
I kinda considered her to be my friend. We met in the text roleplay chat and I fell in love immediately. She would occasionally show me signs of a mutual interest. The thing is - she was 17-18 and I was 12.
Then we would talk for hours. I was a kid from a dysfunctional family so at first I didn't really notice she was actively mocking me and being cruel to me every time we spoke. And, the worst thing, it didn't ring a bell to me that asking a 12-y-o girl for a nude photo or voice message, where she would moan, is weird. I didn't send her that, but she was persistent. When I still answered "no", she would be enraged or offended. I'm just glad I didn't fall for it and she left eventually, unsatisfied, after three years of this bullshit. I was broken-hearted but at least safe.
It's scary how most of them don't start out as someone who has sexual interest in you. They begin as friends and it takes them quite some time to show them their true nature. Before that video, I honestly didn't see her as a predator. I don't know, It just clicked into me that it was actually much worse, than I thought before. Gotta uhhhh think about it in my free time.

It's terrifying. When I was 13 I was groomed by a 17 years old dude who was into children. I luckily never showed my face to him, but everytime we called he wanted me to make "noises" (aka moan) and I luckily kept on refusing until he gave up. 3 Years later, another (trusted, this time, this person was my same age as me) online friend told me this guy was sending pictures of himself naked to 14 y.o children. I was so disgusted. I was lucky to get away without having pictures of younger me getting saved on someone else's PC. Yuck.

When I was 15 a guy that was like 23 or so messaged me from New Zealand and groomed me into doing really gross shit on webcam. To this day I am scared of seeing cameras on laptops and cover them up. He would jerk off to me every night, I thought he loved me and one day he just disappeared. when the reality hit that there might be video footage of 15 year old me floating around the internet, it took a lot of work to heal from that disgusting shit.

This show brigns light to me in a way, back when i was 13 i was groomed on discord by boys older than my age, my mother found out about this 5 weeks later , the 2 boys were charged with sexual harrassment, may this show serve as a reminder to everyone that no everyone on the internet is who they say they are. The things that were said by the predators were extremely triggering for me. I've had men say things like that to me when I was 13. I was almost blackmailed into sending inappropriate photos, and I've been groomed multiple times. I've been struggling with panic attacks, nightmares, depressive thoughts, and insecurities because of men like this. I'm am forever grateful for the work you do to keep young girls like me safe from predators like this, thank you so much for the work you do.

this has happend to me before when i was younger, and at first i didnt really get it but when i talked to that person more i slowly realized what he was doing, im kind of upset that when my mother found out she put the blame on me, the punishment was kind of frustrating and the attitude my mom had towards me was like strangers, luckily i was able to handle the situation and broke things off, it was really disgusting, i cant believe people still do this its so gross, humiliating even. i hope less people will have to go through this in the future, but what you guys did was a really good thing for exposing them

It wasn't just older men. I was 16 when a woman in her mid-20s tried to groom me. I caught on quick and was able to put a stop to it. But it just shows that anyone could be a predator.
There needs to be more education on " guidance on talking to your kids about sexual predators." As a 46 yo adult with depression, I cannot talk with family because they don't understand or they try to "fix" me so they don't feel bad or guilty. There needs to be step by step guidance and ongoing discussions. This is very scary for any adult. I cannot imagine a child. Thank you for making the public aware of this scary ongoing problem. This is harsh.
