Not as powerful as Caruso, not as beautiful as Gigli, less intensive than Martinelli, less elegant than Schipa, he nevertheless presents a balance of these attributes that puts him well into the illustrious company."
Con todo mi respeto para Bergonzi, ni comparacion con Kraus ni con el Di Stefano de los años 40-50 del pasado siglo. Nunca Bergonzi canto como cantaba Pippo en sus mejores años.
