@@raifsevrence this is 100% a test run to try and peddle them to the military in five years. EVs are promising for logistics, cause you won’t need to ship liquid fuels across the world. And generating electricity on site is a bit easier than drilling for oil and refining it on site.

The storage inside the rear seat and folding tailgate have been features in GM pickups for some time. Useful items, but nothing new there. Just also used in the Hummer EV.

@@wiryantirta Coal powered EVs would still be more environmentally friendly than gas or diesel vehicles so long as it is used long enough to offset the emissions of the battery. In a vehicle like the Hummer EV with a 200kwh battery that would probably be more difficult with only coal powered electricity, but honestly powering it with only coal would probably be pretty hard to do in most states.
@@wiryantirta No one said Electric Vehicles completely eliminate pollution and usage of precious resources. They are COMPARITIVELY better than Petrol or Diesel vehicles. They don't spread pollution as badly as a traditional vehicle would.

Here in the US it’s about 13 tons with a regular civilian (class E) license, but it also depends on axle and maximum passenger count. So there’s trucks, vans, buses, etc that you would not be able to drive with a regular Class E regardless of weight. I assume the weight limit in Germany is not counting towing, as you would not be able to tow a medium-sized boat under that limit.

I have owned 3 H2 trucks over the years, they are used as intended.
I will definitely purchase one or tow or three of these for the tow capacity alone!
E trucks will out pace gas/diesel trucks shortly, we just need the infrastructure in place.

I can't wait for the world of *_Ex-Drivers_* to come into effect, where it will have been at least a couple of generations in where self-driving electric cars are industry standard and only a select few of highly trained special forces SWAT agents consisting of child prodigy and retired race car drivers still drive classics (which would be our modern sports cars) to chase bank robber Street racers.
Since full grown adults would have no idea how to even drive, driving Is a skill reserved for the military and ex street racers turned police.
