CORRECTION: Yamaha Warrior is FUEL INJECTED (I thought it had carbs for 2002-2003). Shout out to bennyshoestring for pointing this out. Both awesome bike! Which would you mob?
You didnt know it was fuel injected when you DIDNT have to adjust the choke after take off?
Well... on second thought, the dude was alre4ady there, so if it wasn't FI it would have already been warmed up. So never mind... i'm retarded, ima let the last comment stand to see how much hate I can get lol
@@battlescargigantica2159 lol. All good, brotha! Az is fairly warm and you can get away with not having to adjust the choke on lots of the carburetor bikes. Although Yamahas tend to be pretty cold blooded from my experience. But I'll admit I'm quite surprised I went all these years mistaken. The road star 1700 cruisers have carbs up through 2007, so it's not entirely unimaginable.
@@battlescargigantica2159 Either way, thanks for watching and commenting! Ride safe!
@@JonsMotoGarage I want to move to AZ so bad... but then I look at the weather lol
Just bought an 06 1700 for $4000 with 305 original miles! Changed the plugs and made a few minor adjustments and she runs like new... Because she is
I have had my Warrior for 14 years. It's an '06 but I bought new in '07. I have ridden it from Canada to California and back and all over southern BC and Alberta and it has always been a blast. Lately I have has a few electrical/fuel problems but nothing that would make me want to walk away. One might expect a few glitches after 110,000 km. When I get on it, it's like putting on an old glove. Fantastic motorcycle.
Thats cool, how is the fuel consumption in km/l ?
@J2I3H
I have an 2003 Warrior 1700. Same color as in the video.
The fuel tank isn't the best or biggest. Its about 3.5 gallons.
That's one draw back.
I've had a fuel pump issue, I think the Floater is broken, so I have to do Math to guess my fuel consumption. Or just start looking for a gas station at around 110 miles.
Affordability will have a lot to do with the choice for many! The Yam is excellent value
Yeah, it's hard to pass up the yam when you can get it used at a bout 1/5 the price (no joke!).
Oz Bloke Its not thay there good value
Its that Harley over chargers and doesnt invest in any technology
I love and always look forward to these videos. Love the muscle cruzer/ fast cruzer comparisons and pulls. Keep comparing and dueling them out every chance you get and taping it. My favorite kinds of bikes.
Heck yeah! Will do for sure! Thanks for the support, brotha!
love your videos, amazing content. Keep up the good work!
They're all fuel injected. The warrior is just plain badass and the torque is addictive. currently have an 05 midnight with BAK vance and hines big shots with a 240 in back.
Dude, you're totally right! How the heck have I gone all these years avoiding the 02-03 because I thought they still had carbs!?!?!?! Thanks for showing me the light! Lol. The road star 1700 had carbs up through 2007 if I'm not mistaken...maybe I crossed wires at some point. Lol.
@@JonsMotoGarage I think that's right. The RoadStar 1700 used a very similar motor to the Warrior, but it was tuned for a different torque range with slightly smaller displacement (1620 cc vs 1671, I think), and carbed vs fuel injection on all of the Warriors. Yammie took the solid powerplant from the RoadStar and turned it into the wicked uncle in the Warrior. I have a 2004 with Vance & Hines Propipe and PowerCommander, and I wouldn't take anything for it. Used to ride sport bikes, but realized I like my license too much to be pulling wheelies at triple digits any longer....but couldn't bring myself to a "boring old cruiser". The Warrior turned out to be just the ride for me. Should have bought it years ago.....
@@javabean215 The only thing the Warrior shares with the Roadstar 1700 is the moniker of 1700. None of the parts are compatible.
I LOVE the Warrior! Check out my review on my 2006 Warrior!
czcams.com/video/XW3s2I0Fwzo/video.html
I'll check it out! Thanks!
That Harley looks good asf...idc how bad the handling is 😂
Lol. The handling isn't actually bad at all, just a lot different compared to the warrior. I dig the dyna as well! My favorite style bike at the moment.
I found the handling great I really loved alot about the low rider s it's one incredible bike so much fun to ride and for me was comfortable.
Handling is Fine!
You have the best low rider S build I’ve seen . Beautiful build ⭐️❤️
Right!? I'm pretty stoked on it. The dude killed it with the build! Thanks!
I just bought a 2009 Yamaha Road Star Warrior, a week ago with 14, 715 miles. Coming from a ZX-7 and a ZX-10.... This bike is a BEAST!!!
😍🏍😍
When the power cruiser wars started around 2002, i was reading all the Rider Magizines. Kawasaki came out w the Meanstreak, which was decent, but Honda releases the VTX 1800, w that huge single pipe. Everyone marveled...until the warrior. You're right it was a technology breakthrough, oil in frame, suspension, and the motor, and on spite of the riders position, ..this stole the show...until VRod, that is. I love these bikes. They definitely are the older brother of the Raider. I rarely see these anymore.
Nice! I was a tad young when that war started, but got in at the tail end so still enjoyed the aftermath. Lol. Yeah, I hear the vrod completely dominates, even as the smallest displacement of them all. Super rad!
Harley got smoked in every category and thats were there decline came in was those cruiser wars
They were being out handled and out gunned by metrics all over the place and the Vmax will make Vrod look like a kids bike acceleration
I've got both. A 2005 Warrior which I've owned for 8 years (as of this post) and been drag racing for 5. And I came across a can't-pass-it-up deal on a 2007 Honda VTX1800 and bought it with the thought of flipping it. After riding it a week, I decided to keep it. For now. The Honda is a more comfortable ride but the Warrior handles so much better and is just a lot more fun to ride. If I see a great deal on another Warrior (*cough* turbo *cough*), I'll sell the Honda in heartbeat to have another Warrior in the garage.
I went to subscribe on this channel and to my surprise you only have a little over 6k subscribers. I was blown away, I was thinking at least 200k subscribers. Great channel bro and love how you test a bunch of bikes. I just got back into bikes after a major incident I had 4 years ago that almost killed me. So now I'm back on a bike(2008 Nightrod VRSCDX). I was a novice sportbike racer before i had my accident. Wiped out at 20 mph and got run over. Keep up the awesome vids!
Thanks, brotha! I appreciate the support and encouragement! Always a drag to hear about major incidents like yours. Glad to hear your back up and running. The nightrod is on my list of bikes to get when I can find a good deal! Eventually I hope to make my way to some track days so I can actually learn how to ride. Lol. Ride safe, man!
Finally got my hands on one of these. 2004. Has 24k miles on but its clean! The seller told me its in showroom condition. Given the age of the bike I didnt believe it. When I saw it in person my jaw dropped. Absolutely gorgeous. May have overpaid a bit at $4,000 but with them being rare these days I was willing to pay a little more. All I can say is I love it! Sounds amazing with V&H pipes.
Nice review by the way dude!
"i know i'm not wearin proper riding gear. do as i do, not as i say." got it, leaving my riding gear at home. LOL
Love my '02 Warrior!!!! Will do whatever it takes to keep it up and running 'till I can't ride anymore.
Heck yeah! Such a rad motorcycle!
I got an 07 warrior custom tuned I love it, I almost traded for a HD Breakout brand new but I just couldn’t do it. Felt my warrior could smoke it.
I love my 2002 Warrior!
I love my 2003 Warrior!
It's 2023/ 2024 and people still marvel over it. They think that it is a new bike...
they just don't know that it's 20+ years old and still looks young like a super model... lol
Props for allowing the guy to even ride the low rider! For all the time searching for it, rarity, huge amount invested in it, I couldn’t see myself doing that.
For sure! I wouldn't have if I didnt think he could pull it off. I hear ya though for sure!
love your reviews Jon. bought a mint 2004 Warrior yesterday. I own 15 street bikes and I am in love with the torque of the 1700. Exactly what the collection needed. the balance and handling are superb. Cobra exhaust has her sounding right!
Thanks, man! I've ridden tons of cruisers and still can't think one that handles better than the warrior (of the vtwin class). I'm stoked for you! 🤙💯
I love comparisons like this, as someone who loves the Lowrider S but can't afford one. Cheaper bike, similar function.
My dads had the same warrior since 2008 and it’s a 2004 never had any issues and has even gone through a pretty big wreck and has always been a great bike
Nice content bro glad I came across you're Channel can't wait to catch up
Hecks yeah! Thanks for checking it out! I appreciate the support!
@@JonsMotoGarage I can buy the street Bob off you now that you got the lowrider S 🤙🏽😎
The warrior is a mean bike indeed, your not wrong in wanting to get one. I’m riding a 2016 Harley Davidson street glide special and would absolutely put a warrior next to it. Awesome video
some people are cool , but you sir ...are ice cool , congrats on nearly 6k subs
Hahaha! I'm flattered! Thanks, brotha!
Nice vids man entertaining af
Thanks, brotha!
2006 indigo blue with flames right here. 😎✋🏻 you forgot to mention that the Warrior was the sport metric class AMA drag race champ for six years in a row.
I have a 06 Warrior Midnight. Love it!!
Gotta say, man....I'm just stuck solid on that Low S..... if you ever sell it, I would feel the pain clear up here. What a wicked cool bike.
Lol. No worries! She's not going anywhere!
If its BIG and Fast...Thats what I Like ...Ride Safe !!
Heck yeah! Monster v-twin all day!
Just watched this video I have been my 2006 warrior and love it
Awesome, got me a super clean 07 warrior about 2 months ago...it’s so easy to ride and handles great, it’s easy to love it
Congrats on the new ride! They're becoming harder and harder to find.
I got one 2 months ago also. It’s an 02. I friggin love it.
Excellent video, thx
Best videos bro glad I found your channel, that low rider s looks amazinggggg man. Jealous. Be safe man!!!
Thanks, bro! Much appreciated! Yeah, in super stoked on the new ride! She's a beast!
Hey Jon, I was looking for a nice used raider but I couldn't find one near by in my price range and then a warrior popped up a couple of miles away so I bought it ! I haven't put it on the road yet cause the snow is coming here soon, I'm in CNY so I'm looking forward for spring.
Late to the party, but I just got an 02 warrior 1700. It is a beast!! Mine is fuel injected and so responsive. It is always looking for a reason to run.
I have. ‘16 Raider and love it. I plan to add a Warrior to my garage as soon as I see a good one out there.
Nice! I need a raider and a warrior again. I used to find super nice warriors for $4k-$5k. Now I'm lucky to find one for less than $6k. Lol.
I find the same. When I couldn’t decide between Warrior and Raider there were two nice Warriors in my area. There have been none here lately. I enjoy the hunt anyway. MC shopping is an addiction 😜
I rode the road warrior when first released in Australia and it was absolutely amazing to ride. I can’t remember the last time I saw one on the road
Heck yeah! The warriors are awesome bikes for sure! I don't see them often, but when I do, my heart skips a beat! Hahaha! Shout out to AUSTRALIA!
Here is Warrior ad from Australia.. czcams.com/video/lavFsiaQVjQ/video.html
I have a Midnight 08 I bought brand new, Air Kit, ECU mod and exhaust, I love it still, it rips, never been passed by a Harley during go time. Yeah a 30-40k Harley maybe could hang...but not stock.
I to am a big Yamaha fan. Had a vstar 950 that I truly miss. I've ridden a warrior, but never owned one. Warrior is a great bike. Currently I have a 20 FXBB for my muscle bike and love it.
Enjoying your channel man! Any chance you do a review on a Vulcan soon? Finally got into riding but man those 250s at the BRC are just too small. Sat on a buddy's 300 Ninja and thought my 🥜 were going to explode. I'm 5'8 myself about 190lbs. Anyways keep the content coming!
Yo! Thanks for checking the channel and commenting! I may actually have a vulcan 900 vid (from a bike I looked at a while back but didn't buy) that I could put together. I'm assuming you're looking at the 900? I've sold a ton over the years and thing it's one of the best middleweight cruisers. Super good power to weight ratio and a lot of bike for the money, especially compared with shadow 750, vstar 650, and boulevard 800. I also dig that it's fuel injected and has the belt drive (low/easy maintenance). I'll see if the footage is any good.
@@JonsMotoGarage I'm actually looking at a 2015 Vulcan S, but I've read nothing but rave reviews on the 900 Custom. If you put a video together that would be awesome seeing it "live", if not your thoughts alone on it would suffice. It would be my first bike, don't know if the 900 would be way too advanced for me.
@@gary_lav I've heard great things about the Vulcan s as well! Someone told me it could pop wheelies! That's always a plus in my book. Lol. I've been looking for one. We'll see if I can get my hands on one here soon.
I agree compare everything thats fun to see I think!
For sure! That's the way we roll! Thanks, man!
Only thing that sucked about the warrior was parts. There getting and been discontinued. Itd be different if aftermarket was there to replace the OEM and but theres no aftermarket sadly. That's what killed these bikes is harleys everyone has to have a harley no one wanted the metrics. So that's why there all going under. Warrior discontinued. Raider. Discontinued. Victory. going out of buisness. And it's sad people still go for harleys. Way obsolete design. Heavy. You pay Lamborghini prices for a heavy slow bike. Fun fact harley is just now! Making similar hp and torque numbers the Yamaha warrior made back in 2002. What's that tell ya
Great points for sure! Yeah, harley has tons of aftermarket options available. Definitely a drag the warrior didnt last longer. I would've loved to see a gen 2 edition!
What parts are you trying to find? I have a 2002 warrior and have had good luck (so far) with aftermarket parts.
It's a yamaha it doesn't need parts will run for ever.
Best conparison videos in my opinion.
Thanks, brotha! I appreciate the support!
How’d you get the forks anodized? Looks awesome!
I've never even heard of the Yamaha Warrior, then again I just got back into riding less than one month ago after a 25 year break, so that's a fair statement, but now that I own a 2011 Yamaha Stryker 1340cc I'm all over Yamaha bikes now. I play Yamaha basses and amps, and after playing bass for over 35 years, I can say Yamaha is up there with the best.
I love my warrior. Payed 3500 for it. So much power for what you get with very very cheap maintenance and reliability is really good. Mods are really cheap, you arnt paying the HD tax on it. Will get too 100 very comfortably and easy with no issues. Coming off a gsxr 1k on to this. The handling is amazing. its not at sports bike level by any means, not that you should expect that at all. But its not that far from it. When it comes to fucking around in the bike world. You will beat every twin cam sports bike out there in acceleration. You will be able to keep up with 600s, you wont beat them but you will be able to keep up with them. Bike vs bike. Rider vs rider. Thats on your skill level vs them.
Got one of these as my first bike for $750 with a dent in the tank and that's it. Best 750 I've ever spent!!
It's not about making someone else happy .... well said !
🤘😎
Like always very much appreciate and love the video. I agree Harley's do not handle the best but that's what I like a battle like driving an old car from the sixties with 3 on the tree you have to be involved. I appreciate all bikes.
Heck yeah! Well said!
I ride an 09 NightTrain and it handles very well.
@@draganm7823 Dont get me wrong, I have no complaints with the handling on the dyna (aside from the occasional wobble when cornering at higher speeds). It was just amazing to me how easy the warrior felt compared to other "performance cruises that I've ridden". I've heard awesome things about the night train btw!
@@draganm7823 All harleys handle well they don't handle the best is a fact compared to a GSXR OR A CBR or to a lot bikes . The 1st time I got the Dyna death wobble scared the phuket out of me happened at 35 miles an hour. It's not my tires it's not my rims it's just the power to weight ratio when you take off. Funny what I had to do was learn how to stop riding like a Ginger wristed little weeny.
That LowRider is a beauty. I mean gorgeous looking bike!
Wait wait I gotta pause it there... we are not bored of the street bob
Hahaha...phew! No worries, I'll keep the street Bob content coming! Thanks, brotha!
Hey Jon I have a question. First of all new subscriber. Love the bike break downs. A buddy and myself have been going back and forth as to which muscle cruiser is the most radical/scary bike. I have been on all the big bikes you have ridden as well as him. As far ascmuscle cruisers go I do not count the new Vmax or the Ducati because they are more like a big sport touring bike. I've ridden the 1200 Vmax, the VTX 1800, 109r, and the raider. I haven t however ridden the triumph, the warrior, or the 650s. Of all the bikes I've owned the Vmax 1200 was the craziest bike for me, and he swears by the M109r. What's your take on this debate?
Personally, I'd put the 1st gen vmax at #1 and the m109r at #2 for radical/scary, with vtx 1800 in a close 3rd. The warrior is a great bike but is definitely more tame than the others. Bikes like the valkyrie and rocket 3 are powerful bikes but don't have the raw, gnarly, scary elements that you get with the others. Just my opinion of course.
Bro it's all about comparing chocalette to bananas 😁 Keep doing your thaang man it makes for dope content.
Hahaha! Chocolate to bananas! That's perfect! Thanks, brotha!
My brother has one. I think it is an 07 or 08 model. He never plans on getting rid of it. His is the silver one with a racing stripe. The bike is fun but doesn’t fit me well since it has a custom forward control kit on it.
Nice! Yeah, I've ridden a few with the extended forward controls. Definitely needs to be tailored to the rider.
Just a testament to how BAD ASS the warrior is comparing a 2002 to a 2017 the bike has stood the test of time!
That Warrior's profile reminds me alot of the HD Vrod
Yeah, it's a sharp looking bike imo. I'm still on the hunt for a vrod or warrior. Both would be great additions!
I have a 2017 Speed Triple- but I’ve always longed for a muscle cruiser.
Dang, I bet the speed triple is a blast! The warrior is a different experience for sure!
comparing bikes that are in different category also helps highligthing things on bikes thats you wouldnt notice that much on close competitor
Well said, and great point! I always learn something new trying out different bikes - it also helps to narrow down likes and dislikes. Thanks, bro!
I have a 2002 warrior and love it. Super fast and comfortable bike. I had a ZX-6 before my warrior. This warrior would kill the zx-6 out of the hole, and can almost corner as good.
Lol, you just don't know how to ride a sport bike.
Those Warriors sell in a flash down-here in NZ , they are super-rare now , people just don't sell them . Same in Australia , Grab one if you can ! Dave NZ
Sweet vidoe Buddy! U defenatly need to swing UR leg over a Ducati Diavel Suzuki B-king and the new Vmax!! Especially the Vmax it's like nothing other out there V4 sound like in MotoGP plus arm pulling power! I had a go was amazed!
Thanks, man! Dude, I've been looking for a vmax for a while now! I kind of wanna get a gen 1 first, and then try out the gen 2. I've heard nothing but awesomeness about them! It's on my list, and I'll snag one up as soon as the right deal comes along! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Jon sir and to anyone who is able to comment, what is the max you would pay for a 2005 warrior with 14000km?
I am extremely torn between a warrior and z1000r on facebook marketplace...
I got a 05 Warrior in a trade it's a fun bike to ride fun amount of power , I'm going to sale it but it's a blast .
im pretty sure theres also 110 big bore kits that you can put on the warrior, so sick
so...if you had athe money for both...which has the best handling, braking, power and comfort
I bought a Roadstar Warrior in 2002. I put 46000 miles on mine. They were way ahead of their time. They would out handle ANY other cruiser and outrun any Harley except the V-Rod. A air cooled Harley had to be hopped up just to keep up with a stock Yamaha. They are also much more reliable than a Harley. All Harley did with the Milwaukee 8 was build a Yamaha motor.
Would LOVE me some Low Rider S!
I was thinking about getting a clear European style fairing windscreen. that European yellow headlight look.
Thatd be dope!
Worriors are monsters I love mine
Get an MT-01 instead of the Warrior, it's based on the Warriors 1700cc engine but even more low end torq. All this in a sport bike frame, suspensions and brakes, What a blast and so much fun! + the bike is now kinda cheap :D The sound is also a bit better than the warrior
I have only ow ned Harleys an Triumphs but I really liked my brothers Royal Star Tour deLuxe.
Heck yeah! I've ridden/sold a few royal stars (and one venture) in my day. I'm also a huge fan, except for the carbs. I'd love to try out the new eluder!
Love the warrior just like the raider. But I’m just a Harley guy through and through. Like I’d love to get either one as a 2nd bike BUT! If I could find a softail deluxe or road king anywhere in the same price range. I’d go with them. But overall I love the Yamaha muscle bikes. They bit off Harley at the same time saying I will crush you.
Hahaha! I hear ya there! I recently saw a super nice softail deluxe...might have to reach out to the guy.
The Warrior is a slick bike, not overdone with nice smooth lines but if I had to choose it's the Dyna, all day everyday. You obviously know how to wheelie Jon but are you not using a handbrake on the bobber? Lot's don't obviously and I haven't ripped a fat Dank on a Harley ( yet, just an envious wannabee ) but with that heavy weight balance point must be scary as hell ( looks like a violent transition )! lol Not that we care if we fall, it's more not messing up the bike generally. Just curious, that's all, wasn't sure if you prefer not to have one or most people like me never learned with one. I would say for just wheelies it's not needed but knowing that my gas tank knee death grip doesn't have to change would probably give me a little more confidence with that weight transition. That looks like a whole different world, almost fights the laws of physics lol. Stay cool amigo
Yeah, I always thought the warrior was the best looking, with the vrx1800f close behind. But combining looks, ride, and performance, the warrior takes my money. Lol. I've never messed with a handbrake. Maybe someday in the future. All foot brake for me.
Jon... I’ve told you before I’ve been in the market for a M109r for a while, but I have the opportunity to purchase an identical warrior to the one in this video. It’s got Bub exhaust and a power commander, but stock otherwise. 18k miles asking 3800. I imagine I could get that down to 3200 or 3300 if I beat them up on it. What are your thoughts? I’m really starting to like these for sure the more I research them. Thanks man.
Personally, I dig the warrior a bit more than the m109r. Seems a bit more refined/smooth/comfortable. $3200 or $3300 sounds good if it checks out.
I think that price point would be good as well. It is identical to the one in this video though... except for the pipes!
That's a sharp bike.
comparisons .....spoken like a true motorcyclist!
if that is your drive "you have a spread ,Tex"
edit the cooler it looks the more attractive to theives it is.... if you dont want it i love it! i have lost 3 bikes to theft.....people have balls!
No racing today... Was waiting for the cut to a drag race lol
Hahaha....no kidding!
Glad I found this video! I'm a current Warrior owner (dream bike of mine) but have been flirting with the idea of putting big money on a Low Rider S. This vid should give me at least something to go by until I take the Harley for a test ride myself.
Both great bikes but you'll get a lot more bang for your buck with the warrior...and far superior handling (stock vs stock).
@@JonsMotoGarage I've had the Warrior for about 5 years now, and like I said I love the beast. I think I've just got a case of "I want a new bike". Thanks for the reply!
@@JonsMotoGarage Do you think the new low rider s on the softail platform handles as good as a warrior. I want a harley but i love my warrior so much and handling is everything to me, I rode sport bikes for years and still ride dirt.
Cool video brother, one fact is wrong all warriors are fuel injected, pretty advanced for 2002 🤔
Cheers
Thanks! Yeah, this was brought to my attention. All these yrs I've been passing up on some smoking deals cause I thought they were carb. Lol. Live and learn. Hahaha!
The Lowrider is not setup to handle well with the riser and bar height. A pair of handle bars like I have on my FXDC would help
a bunch.
How tall do you have to be to ride the warriors (stock handle bars)? I know the seat is low but the thing looks massive
I'm 5'8" and it fits great. I'm sure riders shorter than that could still pull it off.
Jon's Moto Garage Gracias amigo!
I wish I was over there. Id love to ride my VRod with you! Over here I have had no troubles and thats including the M109r!
Alot of it comes down to rider. I really want you to get on another one and rip up to 8k rpm!
Yes! Thatd be awesome! I've been watching out for the vrod, but it's hard to find good ones these days. Just a matter of time.
@lane johnson Maybe you are looking in the wrong places.
Not that I would but you can make baggers out of V Rods very easily and they look really nice!
Full fairings, panniers the lot. Join up to some of the groups on facebook or the 1130cc.com forum and they will show you more 👍
@lane johnson Totally agree - plus the gas tank on them arent great haha!!
@lane johnson Do it! Why fight the temptation? You only live once! 🤣😁👍
I'm gonna be coming out soon to take stuff to R storage maybe we could link up for lunch.
For sure! Hit me up!
What exhaust is on the warrior?
searching for warrior now .. Test drove a yam stryker and it was not there , bad rear susp and power wasnt there for me
I think the warrior will check the boxes. I 💯🤘
HD all the way! Love my 18 Breakout
that Warrior stands out in the crowd to itself ride safe
That's for sure! Such a rad bike!
I'm itching to get out there bro. I'm working my a** off to get things situated and get out there when I'm out there I'm hoping I can do some work for you help you with Flipping some bikes in possibly even helping you with some custom stuff on your bikes.
Do you have an ETA? And what part of the valley? We'll have to meet up for sure!
@@JonsMotoGarage We're crossing our fingers for mid summer and we're looking somewhere around Buckeye or the West Valley.
is it me or that warrior handle bar is not balanced on both ends?
I put my GoPro on the side of my helmet I had the same prob with the GoPro staring straight at the windscreen
Yeah, I've been trying to figure out what to do once I start doing more vids with the fxdls. I may get a mount for the top of the helmet??? Idk. I'll play around with a few options. Side will probably be what I end up doing.
Jon's Moto Garage yeah the top just seemed weird to me lol we really just need to grow a couple inches 😂
For reals! Dang short man syndrome! Hahaha! first world issues here! Lol.
I looooooove my 03 dyna lowrider
Hecks yeah! Dyna for life!
Last summer I bought a 2002 warrior as my first bike .... ik not the best idea but I couldnt help it for 1500$ it was as close as I was gonna get to a raider an I'm in love, everything i could have asked for interestingly enough the low rider s is one of the dream bikes on my list an I really enjoyed the video even if it's not exactly a fair line up lol
Heck yeah! $1500 for any running moto is a good deal to me! Lol. Let alone a warrior! That's awesome!
Keep the warrior. They are hard to find. The fact that you got one for $1500 is a small miracle
@@CactusJack252 I second this motion! Hahaha
The only thing they really changed was radial front brakes after 03
Good to know! Thanks, brotha!
The Warrior is a savage. My 07 spins the rear tire way too easy.
The Warrior is an all aluminum frame over the Harley steel frames.
Heck yeah! It's the best of all worlds - nimble, powerful, looks good. Shame they dont make em anymore.
I want to switch my set up with my handle bars from my road king but I've been tryn my wheelies and some day I'll get her off the ground lol
Wheelies on the rk or the 03 dyna lowrider? @blackcharlotte (on ig) does some super dope wheelies with his rk special. Eventually I hope to work my way up to a road glide wheelie machine (like cbearstunts). But that'll be a long ways off. Keep at it! I'm no pro, but getting a bit better. Thanks, brotha!
@@JonsMotoGarage well for now the road king but eventually both. I wanna get a "graum"? Spelling obviously off but I'm sure u know what I mean. I dont need some big dance thing to have fun and I've heard the smaller bikes are the way to go for good times around the streets and freeways. Anyways thnx for getting back to me
Heck yeah! I started the wheelie game on a honda grom back in october of last year. It was the perfect way to dial in the basics. I still go back to the grom from time to time. It's always a blast!
@@JonsMotoGarage so how much do they usualy fo for used around do u know?
Awesome Review. Lower the bars and it will feel more flickable. The low rider looks wins. but the Japanese don't sacrifice performance for looks. have a newer low rider fun.. ..... prefer a sport bike.. Whats the power on the low rider to do wheelies like that..
The low rider s seems to be like a sport bike in the sense that the front wheel wants to come up with ease (at least compared to my 103 dyna street bob). It does have cams and a few other things. I'll do a thorough walk around/breakdown at some point.
Crazy how HD is acting like they're groundbreaking for performance in the cruiser market when realistically they're only competing with 10-15 year old metric engines that are a smaller displacement.
Lol. Yeah, the metrics vtwins have been out performing most Harleys for quite some time. The one HD that really competed was the vrod.
great video, you should do a VS video with the kawasaki muscle bike, the mean streak, i got one, great bike.
I've had meanstreaks, but it's been a long time. They're becoming harder and harder to come by these days, but if I find a good deal, I'll snatch it up for sure! Thanks, brotha!
Jon's Moto Garage definitely pretty hard to find but sounds good, keep up the chill and interesting videos, thanks Jon, ride safe.
How is your GoPro mounted on your helmet?
Chin strap. I need to find a new set up for the low rider s though. The dang fairing is too tall. Lol.
Cool video. I have a Warrior and love it. My friend had a low rider and i got to drive it, great bike. I think you can log more miles on the Harley, after 2hrs on my Warrior i need a nap Lol.
Thanks, man! Yeah, I hear ya regarding the long rides. I was seriously blown away by how fun the warrior was. It had been many a year since I last rode one. Now I really wanna get one again. Lol. Ride safe!
@@JonsMotoGarage if you dont mind dealing with shipping look in Florida, ive seen a few for really low prices. I got mine with 2900 original miles for $2700, in 2017. It had the original tires, belt, and battery. The only thing ive done is tires and oil. LOL. Rock solid!
@@illsuspect what!?!?! $2700!? That's crazy! What yr?
@@JonsMotoGarage 2002, But i recently saw an 06 midnight with under 3k miles that sold for a little over 4k. Florida is the place to look for these.
@@illsuspect Nice! The red one is this vid is an '02 as well. Couldn't believe how dialed in it was. Still running stronger than way newer bikes. Lol. I'll have to expand my search out to Florida!
