Bishop Rance Allen (November 19, 1948 - October 31, 2020), was an American Bishop, Minister, and gospel musician, and the founder and leader of the famed Rance Allen Group. Known for his extremely wide vocal range and powerful singing voice, Allen became known as the main lead vocalist and the leader of the influential group.
He was the senior pastor of the New Bethel Church Of God In Christ in Toledo, Ohio, since its July 1985 establishment. In November 2011, Rance Allen was elevated to the office of Bishop in the Church of God in Christ, for the Michigan Northwestern Harvest Jurisdiction. Allen was born in 1948 in Monroe, Michigan to Thomas and Emma Pearl Allen. He had 11 siblings: six sisters and five brothers. Allen founded the Rance Allen Group in Detroit in 1969 joined by his brothers Thomas and Steve. Allen was married to First Lady Ellen Marie Allen (née Groves). The two were married on December 1, 1970. The couple had no children together.
Allen and his group had performed with many gospel musicians throughout the country, including Andrae Crouch, Marvin Winans, Bebe and Cece Winans, the Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Shirley Caesar, and Donnie McClurkin. He also performed for President Barack Obama at a White House Celebration of Gospel Music and was nominated for five Grammy Awards.
Allen died on October 31, 2020 from complications due to a recent medical procedure.

My brother who was a Singer/Musician like Bishop Allen! He warned me about Rance Allen. I took it lightly. Until I got his first C.D. Lit me up!! This man rocked so hard for Jesus! Jamming so hard and smooth. Before you knew it! The song is over. Bishop Allen was the Fore Father of Contemporary Music! He rocked all Genres of music! I loved it. And when I cross over! I'm hanging out with these guys! Praising God in Resurrected bodies and living Forever!! Can't nobody put together a Family Reunion like God can! I dare anybody to tell me different! God is Awesome! It is a BLESSING to see a large family such as the Allen Family, showing the WORLD, how it felt growing up in a household, with love and no hate or malice towards one another, I had four sisters and five brothers, me being the oldest boy, my children could not believe that my brothers and I NEVER fought one another, while we celebrated my 73rd birthday last month in October, I had them to call my brother and ask him then one of my sisters verified it also, like someone once said ( Love Is A Many Splendored Thing)🥰, someone also said (Love Makes the World Go Round, maybe thats why it seems as though everything in the world is standing Still, not enough Gods kinda love anymore, may the ALLEN FAMILY, heal in Time as YAHWEH allows.

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ was our perfect example back to God. He was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He prayed to the father showing us how to pray to the father.
