    Not sure who said that was 5800 dollars but I’ve researched this bike for months and they were talking about the carbon version but I love you bike that’s the exact one I want!

      Yeah its pretty easy to get one build confused with another! The bike MSRP has actually gone up by $600 since we bought it back in November 2021 but its still significantly less than $5,800. I hope you are able to get your new bike very soon! Thanks for checking out the video.

    I have a 2022 Evo. And Bristol is my home town! Grew up with BE in the 80s.

      It seems a very cool store. The guys at BE mentioned there were some great local trails. Something to get into come spring!

      Hi thanks for checking out the video. The Comp Alloy is $3,800 US. It’s definitely an expensive hobby but I’m banking on it being enjoyed for many years and having solid resale.

    Stumpjumper Comp Alloy vs Stumpjumper Comp Alloy Evo?

    • @dizidoesdownhill
      @dizidoesdownhill  Před 2 lety

      We went with the Evo. Partly due to availability, partly due to Mili being more interested in bike parks than riding trails. The regular SJ reportedly pedals better uphill and has higher bottom bracket/pedal clearance. Evo is more composed downhill. Both look like great bikes.

    Bike is too big for her

    • @dizidoesdownhill
      @dizidoesdownhill  Před 2 lety

      That’s probably right. She has grown 1 ½ inches since that video was made so I think it was probably a decent decision. She has Bike Camp in a couple of months so will likely be close to 5’2” by then.
