Is it just me or is the band taking abnormally large steps? Like near the end of the video half of the band was behind by like a full beat, and some were even running to catch up.
Andrew Kueterman interesting. The rose bowl parade 2019 when doing the turn looked like chair step to me. Or this parade from Wembley i. london looked chair step? czcams.com/video/z3P3xMrYLLA/video.html
From what I heard, the Turkey float in front of them was going too fast and so the band was being told to take larger steps so they could close the gap. I've never seen them march like that before so I believe it.

We were behind the pace they wanted apparently and made us run.
1st line of drumline walking IS JUST SATISFYING
TBDBITL they are so good, I got to see them in the 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, an unforgettable experience.
It's The Ohio State University they are one of the best marching bands in the country
World imo

Awesome video! Thanks for the upload!
Yeah they must have to have sped up because they are not doing their normal chair step march
We don’t chair step in parades. Just while doing drill on the field.

For being one of the best marching bands there out step and not align is very unusual of them.

Yeah even in the documentary/movie of that season’s mb they even said that it was going to fast
