THEY MADE THE FREDDIE MERCURY SILHOUETTE MOVE THIS IS AMAZING
A great silhouette of a man 😂
The god of music
Schalomoosh Schalomoosh will you do the fandango
@@Jess-kb1hb THUNDER BOLTS AND LIGHTNING, VERY VERY FRIGHTENING
I see a silhouetto of a man
that queen logo in the beginning made me tear up just a lil..
The same when the BhoRap/Queen II album cover came out
Same
Same 😢
Omg YES ,ME TOO! I thought I was the only one feeling this way ..its Feddie ,he affects us all on such deep ,emotional level!
Me too
Those ppl who disliked the video doesn’t see the little silhouette of a man
They can't do the fandango..
They didn’t think tunderbolt and lightning was very very frightening
They didn't know who Galileo was
They didn't realized it was magnifico
They couldn't go on with the show.
I can only imagine how brutal the practice was. Holy shit
William Nuno ikr
I'm in a marching band like this in high school. I can tell you the practice is worth it.
I mean I play vibraphone so I don't actually march...
shhh
Its not bad. You get ipads and plenty of run throughs. Memorizing the music the hardest part
bro im in concert band here we dont have marching band but omg i have so much respect for marching band players
i love how they started with fat bottomed girls and it all sounded so amazing!
one of my favourites
Me too.
mrqvry edits I agree
My favorite Queen song
amina mrqvry omg i’m a freshman at postisd and we’re doing this every time we play at half we have people standing up they start dancing and singing and it’s soo amazing
A nice tribute to Queen. What's even more impressive is that this is one of the biggest universities in the United States paying their respects to a band that was an afterthought in the 1980s. Freddie is getting a big kick out of this.
Chad Dalrymple Queen was never an afterthought.
Ever.
They were in America after Hot Space.
"Afterthought" czcams.com/video/A22oy8dFjqc/video.html
Queen has and will never be an afterthought
I suggest you watch Kids React to Queen.
Holy shit, this was impressive as hell. I used to play brass in a marching band (nowhere this caliber) and I can't imagine the physical endurance it must have required to play through bohemian rhapsody, omg.
@Jordan is the nightmare before Christmas I play tuba/Sousaphone and it's almost impossible to hit the high notes
My high school did a queen themed show this year and omg that required so much endurance to make it through bicycle race and then into bohemian rhapsody
your highschool is awesome
We did bohemian last year and it was so much fun! I kept singing in between rests 😂
Right! And they had already been playing for 3 minutes or so before!
Did anyone hear the crowd singing when Bohemian Rhapsody started? Or was it just me?
We all sang
Started singing to it as well :)
I couldn’t here cuz I’m deaf
Its pretty faint but I'm pretty sure they are singing
You hear it really well at 8:00 when it’s the mama mia part
Their dedication is unbelievable. It takes hours, day after day, week after week, rain and shine to come to this perfection.
*Queen will never be forgotten*
It was an honor to be a part of. Go Bucks!
Best damn band in the land.
You guys did a really good job!
Graves he plays either a bugle or flugelhorn it's in his pic
I play Flugelhorn in the band regularly, and for this performance I was one of the rhythm guitar players in the last two songs.
Cheers mate!
I wish Freddie could see this
Who said he can't?
He's got the best seat in heaven
@@jerridombrowski6017 don't you know he wanted to go to hell
@@JT-lk4pk Something tells me that wherever he is. He doesn't really care. He only dies when we forget about him
He is seeing this. ☺️
This
needs to be televised...instead of chewing and rechewing hashing and rehashing every little thing about the game !
95rgs2013 I have said this for years! With today's tv's you should be able to choose, College Bands or talking heads!
Go for it!
They can't show marching bands on TV due to licensing of the music used by the bands
Amazing. Well Done, everybody.
ALawnFawn But it’s a cover. If it’s altered or rearranged I thought that licensing on the actual song didn’t apply.
Legit might go here just for the band
@@filmorepints I think it's so cool to have a marching band for a school. Where I live we don't really do that and I truly think it's a shame. Found these videos about a year ago now and I have admired the school and its band ever since. Anyway, I love what you and the rest of the marching band are doing man. Much love from the Netherlands!
Tabish Shaik same! It seems like being in the best damn band in the land would be the best damn thing ever!
Ohio state is trying to become an Ivy League so good luck with that
Spencer Tamburello I know the difference, I’m in a competition band for my school. But show bands definitely take a lot of school at the level OSU performs at. Dare I say though, if the OSU marching band was a competition band it would still likely be one of, if not the best.
Tabish Shaik same
Lol I got shivers from just watching them spell out queen. Epic
Shivers down your spine? Sorry, everytime I read "shivers" this line comes in my mind😄
😂
@@sammiew.8218 i just killed a man
Goodbye everybody, I’ve got to go.
I'm an Queen fan ,and I was born in London 77 years ago .This, tribute made me so very proud.I saw Queen in concert 4 times, and I have to say I loved all 4 members of the band but Freddie especially
Wow !! I wouldve been happy with 1

You're so lucky
God save the QUEEN.
Darn it wish I was born at the time to see them perform with Freddie

Luke Kerpsack Lol bro you are literally the funniest person in the world. That is so original and so funny!
Nick Urban thank you finally someone who understand 🙏🏻
Ay, same here!
Wow, this is so beautiful. I am a big (and old) Queen Fan. I didn't expect such a great performance and at 8:08 it brougth tears into my eyes. I barely can imagine how much work and love u put into this. Thank you for showing your respect to Queen in such a breathtaking way
When they formed Freddie, I almost cried
Edit: the entirety of them performing Bohemian Rhapsody made me cry
"Do what you want with our music. Just dont make it boring."
This is definitely not boring. EPIC!
is that something Freddy said?
@@danacoleman4007yes
Why did I cry when the picture came out 😭😭😭😭
3StarLogo - I got all teary-eyed @ 2:10 :'-(
3StarLogo so did I. It was overwhelming. What a tribute! 😍
You are not the only one
You are not alone
I bawled hon
Loved this show but I Really wished they had added We are the Champions with Freddie holding the mic upside down.
mbyrd6713 Same
Maybe after the game
closer microphones would make the audio 100x better. Good job band.
The fact that you can hear the band from up there is great as it is though. This band is so impressive, they are loud enough but still clear, memorize the music, choreographed, and did the whole thing (possibly) flawlessly.
I'm sure Freddie would be impressed. I got emotional when the students made the outline of his genius.
6:42 I get goosebumps every time
Makes me cry at that part
Blake Miller cool QUEEN queen
shit I cried again..
Freddie Mercury passed before I was born but I've grown up with the music and fragments of him everywhere
I have loved everything about Queen my whole life and I do not want to change that, Ever.
OMG!!!!!!! This is the COOLEST thing I've ever seen! I can't believe how awesome this is!! A gorgeous tribute to a gorgeous man, Freddie Mercury, the greatest singer/performer ever to grace the Earth. And Queen.....the Best band Ever!! Love this Totally!! 😃🕺😎
Wow! I’m in awe over the shapes they made and how they animated them to move...like the guitar player, Freddie’s silhouette, and the bike wheels turning then racing...really well done. The banners were a nice touch too.
“Led by their brilliant lead singer, the late Freddie Mercury-“ MY HEART OMG I’M SO PROUD 💙💙💙
Would not have picked 'Bicycle' but anytime you get some Queen can't really complain. Points
*busts through the wall*
DID SOMEBODY SAY *_QUEEN???_*
Big phat mood
Awesome as hell!!!! I hope Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon get to see this.
RIP Freddie Mercury
This is how powerful queen and Freddie Mercury is! Even in death Freddie has it better than most people and literally has people doing this for him! Queen and Freddie will rock on Forever!
Ohio state has one of the best marching bands in the country. May there always be high school and college marching bands!!!! Except bring the twirlers back!
Damn my recommendations are now making me cry. . . .
Hey yo Freddie.... You watching this don't you????? See how much we miss you??? We love you????? Keep rocking up there man...... Thanks for the songs man❤️

Thr banner in Bohemian Rhapsody was the icing on the cake! This was incredible, good job!
Bravo! Encore! " Galileo, Figaro, magnificooo..."!
with me doing marching band I finally know how the hell they can do this
same xD
It all clears up so much when you actually join one, doesn't it?
Please enlighten the rest of us who are not in marching band 😂😂
Yes. I started marching band this year and for the first time in forever our band was large enough for a field show so we did one. It was super satisfying afterwards
@@irishboymalloy and you have these liitle reminders OK so I'm on this hash mark on the top of the numbers, BUT YOU CAN'T LOOK DOWN, and sometimes you have guides such as if you are following that person or if your supposed to be 2 steps of the yard line and you know someone else is say 4, you judge on where you are based on that person. THEN YOU ALSO HAVE TO THIS WITH YOUR CHIN HELD HIGH STERNUM UP AND PROUD ROLLING YOUR FEET HEEL ARCH BALL TOE WITH STRAIGHT LEGS AND IF YOU HAVE A HORN, IT'S ALL THE WAY UP TO THE SKY Almost and you got to do these great moves sometimes thrown in
I’m a Michigan fan through and through but I grew up loving Queen’s music and this tribute is just superbe !!!
I cried when they show-off the banner with the band members. Thank you very much for this.
Amazing choreography. Watching from Scotland and heard about Brian May’s reaction to this. It is an excellent show.
What did he say?!?! Would love to know

This made me cry. Just love this marching band and *Queen*; love them all...And can’t love Freddie enough. I hope he’s just so joyful up there knowing what a long-standing impact he has made on so many people. Such a truly beautiful soul.
This is A M A Z I N G
Whoever wrote their drill is extremely talented
I normally dont have much with marching bands, i highly respect what they do tho, the hours and hours of practice they put in, you have to respect.
But this performance? this was amazing, you made my old Queen loving heart skip with joy and brought a tear to my eye.
Wow this was just amazing! This deserves billions of views for all of this hard work
I laughed, cried, clapped, and screamed out loud! WOOHOOOO !!!!!!
It's amazing that a band can keep in place with these moves, but I am also in awe of the folks who DESIGN this, and of their imagination.
I'm a freshman marching at Eastern Michigan this year and we did a Queen show for the homecoming game (Fat Bottomed Girls/Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Bohemian Rhapsody)! We're bringing it back and taking it with us to the Camellia Bowl too!
I got to see this live at the buckeye invitational in Columbus ohio and let me tell you it was truly amazing truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and experience I love this damn band.... I hope one day to be a part of it.
I have also marched on this field at the buckeye invitational it was amazing.
Im here for Queen. Its so nice that they did something in rememberince of Freddie and Queen.(:
Can I please like twice
That was the most amazing marching band performance I have ever seen in my life, and probably ever will. The Precision!! The Montage to Freddy the bicycles the logo the first thing, the word Queen absolute perfection I am in tears knowing the hard work and dedication that all those young men and women put into their performance there director is a genius!!! You should all be so proud
Who els is going to listen to Queen after this
I know exactly why I'm crying in the club right now.... the pictures of the band and the logo got me... I hope freddie is watching ❤
I'm a Michigan fan, but OSU's band is second to none! Phenomenal!
They are so fuc*ing amazing.
That's heartbreaking
I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE IS SO UNDERRATED THANK FOR INCLUDING

Very impressive!! I'll gladly have that huge Queen banner 😄
WOW! Just WOW!!!! Standing ovation for the marching band!!!! I tweeted this to Dr May. I hope he sees it
If Freddie mercury is still alive, he will be proud
Man that was totally amazing Freddie would be so proud.
That was the greatest performance and tribute to Queen ever
Such talented group of musicians! Ohio State Marching Band consistently performs great music and wonderful choreography. It's a treat to watch. Thank you.
What an amazing job and beautiful tribute to QUEEN! Freddie would be proud!👏🏼
They rocked! I am really impressed with the timing, pacing and artistry!
Freddie would be floored if he were still here today. I hope the remaining members see this
Wow! So many great sets, and I LOVED the guitarist set at 8:08, with the arm raising at the high note of “meeeeee!” Great job all! Would love to have lunch with everyone involved in the design and arrangement.
The dedication of these kids is just amazing.
This performance was excellent and I can’t even begin to imagine the kind of work that went into this. Well Done!
I'm literally crying right now .
The bicycle part was the coolest thing
Brian May tweeted about this ! Amazing performance !
glass halfempty
Now that's what I call a marching band that was awesome and I love that they did Queen very very very well
I actually cried when they snapped into that first picture. That was a perfect recreation of the logo. And that picture of Freddie! Oh my GOSH!! Phenomenal!!
“Do anything to my music, just don’t make it boring”
This video is that exact quote
WOW! Brought tears to my eyes...
This is two of the best bands in the world combined! And it is amazing!
I wish freddie could’ve seen this. He would’ve been so touched
Fabulous band! The highlight of high school in 1964-65 was being part of a 100-girl drill team. We did the routines while the band played. Our biggest accomplishment was a moving barber pole. Nothing compared to this band. How exciting for the members. Participation will always be an important part of their lives!
Mad respect for that shit!
Beyond amazing! Freddy would be proud
Freddie Mercury would love that people still do stuff like this for him decades after his death!
They had crazy little thing called love in there!!!! In amazed
Love Queen! Love marching bands! You all put them together and did such beautiful and creative choreography that I cried. Thank you!!
Bicycle, bicycle .... Loved it!
No joke, when the first notes of Fat Bottom Girls started playing I got legit chills. I love OSU's marching band, but this might be my all time favorite prrformance of theirs!!!
Best tribute field show I've seen in my life.
Marching bands have my admiration. To play an instrument while precisely marching to form these images is fantastic.
Freddie... BEST!

i don’t think I’ve shed so much tears in one video........
