Ohio State's Marching Band has some nice uniforms, the best ones in all of college football.
@Grey Dragon Well our uniform is based entirely out of OSU’s old ROTC Cadet uniform.
Small town lucky to have such an awesome band performing..someone must know the director at OSU. Imagine if I were a player what a adrenaline rush.
The director is from the area. I have a picture of TBDBITL playing at his former high school on my wall.

Easily the best college band in the nation. Everything about them is excellent - great music, sharp looking uniforms, the best drum majors and sharp precision marching. I love the Ohio State Marching Band! Other college bands need to study the "Pride of the Buckeyes" and imitate them. It makes you proud to have a connection with the state of Ohio.
The worst one is Michigan

How and why did Port Clinton (population 6,000) get the OSU Marching Band to come to town?
I don't know the logistics of how, but they also marched in neighboring village of Oak Harbor a couple years earlier. O.H. has 2800
When the band performs at away games they find a nearby high school field to use for a final dress rehearsal. When that's at a school near enough that they won't be pressed for time to get there by game time Saturday (Purdue, Mich St, That school up North, and maybe Indiana), they will choose an Ohio high school and perform at their Friday evening game. So schools in Northwest Ohio have a good chance of getting a visit.
@@bob_._. Especially when then-director Jon Waters is from that county. He is a graduate of Woodmore High School in Elmore, Ohio (even smaller than Oak Harbor), and the Buckeyes stopped at WHS on their way north one year. I have a picture of Waters directing both the OSU and WHS bands on my wall.
My cousins were from Graytown but I don't now if they went to Elmore or Oak Harbor. Pretty equal distance from both.

No woodwinds?
Nope ... osu is one of the few college marching bands to not use woodwinds .... and is the largest band of its type to do so.... but however their athletic band the one used for basketball games and such does have woodwinds in it

TimLee356 its not walking its marching, and each band has their own style, this is Ohio State's style
they look like nutcracker soldiers
The fire truck wasn't trying to get through, it was just following them (and itself being followed by the band buses) - it's a common thing for small-town parades.
