Train lines vary from Union Pacific Railroad (UP), Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF), Los Angeles Metro Rail, Caltrain, and Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) with a majority of the crossings I filmed like these being on light rail and commuter rail passenger lines.

Excellent video. In Russia, there are not gates for pedestrians, and people walk across the railway crossing like rams on the walk.

5:23 - Not only does this crossing have the electronic train horn, it also links up with the traffic lights at the intersection nearby, which begin to flash red as well! As soon as the bells stop ringing, it goes solid red again, followed shortly after by green. Pretty cool system there!

Thanks! Yeah not many around the Sacramento area. The only crossings in the Sacramento area with Dialight LEDs both Ball & Low Wattage are at Capitol Mall, Q St Ped, R St Ped, Jefferson Blvd & Stone Blvd crossing, and the Jefferson Blvd crossing. The Jefferson Blvd crossing are Dialights installed by UP which is rare.

Interesting, as I first saw crossings with pedestrian gates when I visited the Chicago area in 2008, then saw them on some of the Bay Area crossings. Not so much in Sacramento.
