A FARMING LEGACY - UNCLE IAN

- Today's video is a little different. A video to remember the farming legacy of Uncle Ian. The hardest working, gentle, and funniest man who taught us all so much. The farm is a very different place without him but we move forward and work in his memory. A short video of some of Uncle Ian's best bits over the years and some throwbacks along the way. He will be sorely missed by us all.
Thank you so much for everyone's messages of condolences. Special thanks to the Irish cancer society, night nurses, palliative care team, and home help that enabled Uncle Ian to keep fighting until the very end, providing him with the care and comfort to help him pass peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Hope you enjoy, any questions hit me down in the comments below, thanks for watching! G'Luck

Very sorry for your loss as others said we never met the man but somehow it's like we all knew him an all call him uncle Ian.
Really sorry for your loss, may he rest in peace
great video Phil and very fitting tribute , cant have been easy as every thing is still raw. As you said you are lucky to have so much old and new footage, many of us only have memories and the odd photo, makes a difference to be able to hear their voices again. Thats the farming life especially when you have animals and it winter time. They still need to be fed and the jobs need to be done. I will have to go back and view the video you did with your father and Ian on the cattle as i'm fairly sure we had a stock bull from Ian's prize animal. I'll have to see if i can find the papers but the name Jumbo certainly rings a bell. So it might be that we had an animal that started it life in Longford. RIP Uncle Ian
