DIGGING OUT THE POO CRUST FROM THE SLURRY STORE | DAEWOO DIGGER MAKES A COMEBACK

- In today's video, we put the newly returned Daewoo digger to work and get to digging out the poo crust from the slurry store. The crust on the store is finally being removed. We have the bucket on the digger turned around and a wireless camera fitted so Father Phil can see what he's doing. The crust is getting spread with the ktwo muckspreader out onto the tillage ground.

Fair play to father Phil, serious skills on that machine,especially looking at a monitor.
Would you consider putting a back of clay on one side of the store that way you could track up onto it and clean out the solids with the bucket facing the right way. And you'd be able to pull it into yourself.
Or would it be possible to put the jets on a timer so they come on at different times and keep the slurry moving?

All that's missing was the extra height or reach for the digger and a drainage bucket on
If you had put the digger up on the low loader and backed it in tight to the slurry store would it have given you better reach to dig out the crust ?
It would be fierce dodgy swinging it around with a full bucket when it’s on the lowloader
I was thinking this, you’d be able to see what you’re doing better, and could probably have the bucket on the right way round and scoop towards you
a pile of gravel or broken stone would work better, the lowloader would be we wavey when swinging or reaching out and make it hard get close to the store without hitting it
Bro would be quicker with a shovel 😂
And it would wreck the tires on the low loader

we made ours as empty as possible with the tanker, and then we hired a mini excavator placed inside and filled the bucket of our own excavator with the mini. we got it all out that way,
Phil my dad built his slurry store back in 1976 and what he done was made a wide ramp along side so he is able back the tractor and agitator up the ramp agitator in and break up any crust no bother just an idea
If you connect the umbilical pump to the jet on the store, instead of the agitator. Would you get better pressure to break up what's left of the crust?

Aft the year we having had would growing your own fertilise like comfrey. When it's soked in water it's soposed to give off an empire amount of nutriance . I taught in this case blending it and adding it to the slurry would it make a better manure?
U ever thought about getting a agitator to go on the arm of the digger
how would a grab truck work to remove crust u would be up high on seat and u could load into spreader over the truck body 🤔

Could you make a hydraulic lagoon whisk for the end of the digger? Is digger piped for hammer? Seen it done on CZcams, can’t remember where

throw the digger up on the lowloader and chain it down. theres your extra height. might be an option
Why don’t you get a system like Tom Pemberton and never have this issue again

A lot of weeds on the winter barley this year i had the same problem I have rape sown now hopefully plough it into the ground soon and put out waste food also and plough it into the ground before we sow it

? Not being a wise ass . Would it work next time cleaning the tank out with excavator . Put the machine on lowboy . U can see over the tank . The bucket faceing u . Bit rocke . Ur pulling to u . And can see . Plus u can slu and the dirt will come around to u
