I agree with everybody else who said this video is MUCH more helpful than the printed instructions. There were two things I still struggled with: first, hanging the door, and second, what to do when the pivot lock is too close to the jamb and the door will not fully close as a result. I ultimately found it was easier to get the pivot pin into the pivot lock with the door swung out perpendicular to the track, inserting the guide pin after. As for the pivot lock being too close to the jamb, the screw in the middle of the pivot lock can be loosened to allow the pivot lock to slide in the track. I found the screw too tight to loosen with a manual or electric Phillips head screwdriver, however, a slotted screwdriver bit on a 6" ratchet handle did the trick handily. A socket wrench could also have worked.
Does anyone know if bifolding doors such as this are decent for blocking sound? How do they compare to a sliding wooden door and a traditional hinged door? Thanks!
I have finished 82.5 inches of closet opening. I like to use by pass sliding preferably 2 slabs of 42inches wide. But, the problem is apparently they don’t make 42 inches wide! I could use two 22 inches instead by they don’t make 22 inches ! Any ideas? Thank you
