Talking about rust…
The spare wheel assembly on the rear door is attached with 4 bolts to the door. These bolts are known to rust. Unscrew them one at the time, add some copper grease, reassemble, and they are protected from rust for decades to come.

but there's one mod concerns me,
that is the cup holder located really close to passenger side air bag...
that might cost serious damage when the air bag explod...

Recently got a JB31 was wondering if you have any places to go for offroad mods. Want to get into car modding and i love this little *********. And i just want to have fun with it. Though...I would like to get new seats and redo the interior at some point, i want to first try and improve the quality of life of the car, as well as any recommended off-road items that would be compatible with the JB31.

I am thinking of putting BFGoodrich M/T tires but I would like to know your opinion about the performance on wet roads, are they "dangerous"?
All Terrain is not that bad. Mud terrain is pretty bad in rainy conditions but i love that. So i can drift the Jimny easier 😁👌

I would like to upgrade to 215/75/R15 AT from the stock tires. Would this cause any difference in the overall performance of the vehicle.
Also I wanted to know that this being a new vehicle, would the wheel alignment post tire replacement be a difficult job ?
I just don’t want to have any unnecessary problems on a new vehicle. Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
No problem here whatever with that setup , the car become a little bit slower yes as the wheels are bigger and tires are heavier 😊
How about some LED Headlights? Nolden and other companies make some great 7inch style headlights.

Have seen some recaro's on a Japanese Jimny. Pretty awesome , but you can't fold the front seats down anymore and turn the jimny into a big sleeping bed 😁. Did 450km in one day yesterday on the highway , still feeling comfy after 😁

Is it legal to remove the grill in the trunk?
With your stock suspension, do you find the car sags if you load quite a lot of weight in the back? Or if you have a roof tent on top too?
The rooftop tent was like 75kg so just another person in the car that's not something you notice. I loaded about 12 bags of 25kg sand in the back last week , it did good but was lowered a bit 😅
Any idea if the Jimny is considered a "lichte vracht" in Belgium? A commercial car so to say, or is it taxed as a regular car in spite of having no back seats?
When the Jimny comes into Europe it's considered a "lichte vracht" so Suzuki doesn't have to pay fines for it's high co2 emissions. Only when it comes into Belgium the law states that in order for it to be a "lichte vracht" the cargo space needs to be 50% of the wheelbase. And a Jimny doesn't have that so it's full road tax around 1080€ is what I paid 😂

How much was the headliner? Do you have a Part number? I did the same to my other car, (a small Belgian Volvo!) but used a junkyard headliner. Just glued on oem-type headliner fabric. Much cozier feeling! Absolutely no regrets, will never return to beige headliner. Ever. But still, with a brand new Jimny. Not sure if I'm brave enough to mod the original piece!
I ordered it without knowing the price so almost 500€ was pretty amazing 😅. Already painted it black with fabric paint , very easy to get it out. Also painted all the plastic covers on top in matt black and also the side panels next to my dash. Will show this in one of my next videos. Already got the Rolls Royce headliner starlight installed 😅. 300 holes drilled and fiber wires...very kitchy but really cool when driving at night. 😁

Stereo sucks, needs more bass
Needs more aggressive tires 🛞
Probably should get a bull bar as kangaroos are a major concern 🦘
Other than that, and the smol horsepower, it’s amazing 🤩

I am thinking of buying one myself mainly cause my work dictates me to go to the vineyards very often...but consuption wise i am feeling blocked here couse i do 40-50 km per day on highway at least...so i am wondering, what is the cosumption if you are going lets say 100km/h on the highway "thinking"
It's only a 5 speed , doing 100 will do about 9l/100km my guess what my Jimny did on the highway.
When you do 120 it's revs are getting very high and it's getting very loud haha.

I own Jimny 2019 GLX, and I drive A LOT on highways, 215 AT tires. At 100km/h you are at 3k rev, and fuel consumption is is about 7,3l. You can get to 120 easily to overtake someone, but jimny is shaped like a brick, so dont look at you fuel consumption during overtake :D my total fuel consumtion after 8k km is totally flat 7l
Could you fit those tires on standard rims or you needed to upgrade??

Nice Jimmy. Very Tasteful. Am I hearing that you have plans for a turbo? Just curious if you have considered supercharging or not. And also how you will select a suitable turbo that won't be a problem for the motor. Otherwise super impressed with what you have done thus far. Regards from Australia.
Yeah asked Suzuki for another engine 😂. Still no price yet from their side. Maybe just do another engine build with 250-300hp and do an total engine swap. Only changing a turbo is gonna be an issue for it's yearly check-up we have to get done in our country. 🙈

In total for everything on my Jimny right now it's going towards 10k guessing. More than enough haha :-p
I put speakers in the rear of mine. The wires are already there so it was simply plug and play.
