- Installing my brand new 4x4 offroad 8spoke wheels and Goodrich mud terrain tires on my new 2022 suzuki jimny jb74. I went for mud terrain as i plan to do a lot of camping offroad and some overlanding. They actually run pretty good on the road as well.

Drive it on normal wheels some time first 😂. Totally changes how the Jimny drives. But when you get used to it , it's so much fun!

Did you have a problem with the rear centre caps? I notice they aren’t installed as you drive out when finished? Do the standard ones fit when you change to these wheels? Thanks

I have a 1991 Tracker (Jimmy's older brother) I put AT2s on but I went to 16X7 wheels and 215x65 tires because the circumference was the same as the factory 205x70x15. So no speedometer error. Look great and ok on highway too.

I think the next upgrade step for off road is locker and for on road is the headlights, you need to install retrofit projectors 🙂 much much better lighting...
I have gone through pretty deep mud and was amazed how well it went through haha. Gonna get a winch first in the next couple of weeks. But agree with the lighting. It's terrible! Gonna look for that retro fit projectors you said thx 😁👌
imho, wide tires will not be much useful, especially on snow and mud, profile definitively help and increase traction. Also having wheels outside the chassis may look badass, may provide an increase feeling of stability .... but in the end you'll have a wider car, and, one of the strong points of jimny is short and narrow design.

Looking good, my only concern would be if used a lot offroad the clutch will suffer, had that problem with my SJ413 LWB, installed a heavy duty clutch solved the problem.
Yeah i'm just using it for fun. Not trying to destroy it but also not keeping it inside a glass box 😁. We break it we fix it i guess 😁

These are Dots Dakkar wheels , not the original ones. You can put a rough tire on the original wheels no problem but not sure you can do 215/75 on them 😁

The tyres seem to just about fit inside the wheel arches. Do you get through the car inspection with these on? Or do you gave to take 'em off? Thanks in advance!
Went to the inspection about a month ago , even made a video about it. No problem with the "keuring" , only the Forge motorsport exhaust was a problem haha.

@@sirnikolas I got really REALLY lucky. Went to the first main Suzuki dealer in Belgium and the last silver one was sold 30min before i got there lol.
Called 3 other dealers but nothing. Friend calls and said there was a white one outside of a Suzuki dealer in his town. Rushed over there cause at some point it's not about the color , it's about just getting one here 😂. Once there i spotted a black one in the showroom but dealer was gonna keep it as a demo vehicle. BUT the salesman says i do get the last black one in Belgium in about 2months. So ordered it right away and it was like 3months haha. Really love how silly it drives and the things you can do with it 😂👌😁. Congrats on your purchase to!

Hey man! Do you know why my Jinny kicks the esp in (by its self) after I do my burnout?
Suzuki safety , kicks back in cause Suzuki says that's the safe way to go. It's just a fuse under your hood that you can pull out. It will give you a warning light but the esp will be off. Have to do that myself to 😁
Hello. What about the flexing of the wheels? Do the tyres touche the front bumper when you fully turn the wheel or not ?

This is the max wheel size and tire size you can get without hitting anything. If you go wider or bigger you need a lift ;-)

8spoke wheels with 215/70R mud terrain tires is the biggest you can go without rubbing somewhere on stock suspension 😁

Thinking between these and the ATs, but the Jim is my daily and only driver so far, that's city driving, bit of highways, off road, I am afraid that I will ruin the ride, did it get a lot more uncomfortable with the MTs?
Nope don't mind them at all! And i drive a Mercedes as a daily so thise MT's should drive me crazy but they don't 😁

How to put back those centre hub caps on rear wheels?
Black Tec7 or other good silicone glue. The wheels slide over them when you take them back off 🙂
