- Today we looking into our scx10 ii comp build. We are improving this truck as much as possible to hit the major flaws of this truck out of the box. What we started with was a scx10 with the front a rear shocks swapped, and upgraded servo, and some brass upgrades along with a set of 2.2 bead lock wheels. We added upon this by installing all metal links to improve stability and steering. We added 1.9 bead lock will with a secret trick for a lower cg. We added a higher mounted bumpers, a more adjustable speed controller, and custom smooth rock sliders. If you have any other ideas what we should do next leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching and subscribe for more content.

Just traded a mint condition scx10.3 jlu for a 10.2 with a vanquish f100 body
this rig was in bad hands but I'm in love with it and not missing the jlu a bit
taking lots of inspo from youe build!
nice build mate!
I have one of these too, it’s a fun Crawler
The Chinese wheels look good & great price, but lack grip. I tried them too before going to the Hyrax.
Came out nice. I’ve had mine for about a year & didn’t do much to it. Then I recently got all metal links new servo. The esc & motor are stock. I had mental beadlocks on it from the start & it was impressive stock. Did that front number come with it in the bag full of parts? Looks good. I’ve got a few motor esc combos available but not sure what I’m going to put in. Probably a Holmes hobbies & Hobbywing esc.
The hobby wing esc is amazing for the brushed systems. The bumper I used was actually off a axial wraith
After adding weights to the wheels do you still use stock foams?
I used the same foams that came in the tires. Using 2 rows of weights around it to much. Using just 1 row works best for a easy way to add weight
Gotchu. Thanks
