Problem was the overhyped players, not GS. Rice, Bellingham, Kane, Gallagher, Maguire, etc. were the problem not GS. England was an average team that didn’t deserve to reach the finals.
Honestly, he was aided by easy draws, and still, he barely made it. Even the win against Netherlands, that’s a a team that ended 3rd in their group.
