- Spain has won Euro 2024 after defeating England 2-1 in Berlin to become the first country to win the Euros four times.
Spain won all seven of their games during the tournament held in Germany before lifting the trophy, with goals in the final from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal securing the win.
England aimed to end 58 years of 'hurt' with their first major men's tournament win since 1966, but instead left fans and players heartbroken with a second successive European Championship final loss.

I always love how respectful and sportsmanship all English are. I watch this report from the BBC and they keep appreciating the Spanish players and giving all the credit to the winner, even with such a hurt after the defeat, Something to learn about and get prepared for the future because us, Spaniards, we are not gonna win forever (actually, the ones of my generation were more used on losing in quarterfinals or 16 rounds than winning any trophy at all before 2008). All my respect to the opponent and their supporters, they played a good match and hopefully they will be luckier next time.
