She is absolutely beautiful and my perfect Caddie, my exact favorite year and color. Wish she was mine with 77 and up wire caddie hubcaps is all she needs
In 1986 Cadillac sold over 300,000 cars. In 2019, the division had a record year of 390,000 units, but U.S. sales were about half of 1986. The rest were sold in foreign markets. Here, in its homeland, Cadillac couldn't sell condoms to hookers. The reason the past was so good, and the current years are so bleak can be seen in this video - behold what Cadillac has given up and lost. I would rather have this '74 Fleetwood, technologically obsolete as it is, than any new Caddy, simply because this one was built with ME in mind, while new ones are built with BMW owners in mind.
BMW is the top-selling luxury brand, so of course they are going to benchmark it. Most of the market has moved on from 70s land yachts. I do love these classics and they have a well-deserved place in the collector community. Now, if they’d bring Oldsmobile and the Custom Cruiser back… 😁🥰
1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham sedan, wow just beautiful and elegant. Looks Presidential in Black. A wreath around emblem identifies the Fleetwood, and Brougham script next to narrow vertical opera window lighting on formal rear roof quarters also help visually identify the Brougham.
This is a beauty ! no doubt ..... This model is the baby Limo ...... The Fleetwood 75 is the limo ..... Cadillac's ultimate ride ! The hearse models are the final ride ...... Cadillac still rules .... America's Icon Car known all over the world .. beauty and power and total class... bar none
The interior was luxurious comfort. The gliding, smooth ride and the amazing quietness was the epitome of exclusivity and elegance. Rear seat behind front passenger was reminiscent of my idea of the first balcony, private booth, at the finest Austrian opera house. It's not over until the "endowed" lady sings.
This one's colors are: Sable Black (order code:19), Black vinyl roof (order code:K) and Black Medici cloth (order code:010), an attractive combination, indeed!
Spectacular car except for the body side molding. It shouldn’t go all the way up to the front wheel arch. Nor should there be that very short section aft of the cornering light that runs to the forward side of the front wheel arch. Cadillac followers notice these details.
These cars good for a daily driver? I love the look of these old cars, but I don't know how reliable the engines are or if it's really made for constant use as your daily ride. I mean, it's a luxury brand, so I'd assume it is, but just curious from actual people who've driven these before. The gas mileage is the other thing, cars today are more fuel efficient generally but they're ugly as sin.
@Eureka SevenWAVE I agree about them being ugly, including the newest Cadillac's! The '96 Fleetwoods were the last REAL Cadillacs, in my opinion! The only new ones I'd even remotely consider buying would be the CT6 or Escalade and I'm not a big fan of S.U.V.s. Not only are they ugly, as if adding insult to injury, virtually ALL American auto makes are trying to look like foreign pieces of shit! I would prefer, for example, this '74 Fleetwood Brougham (despite that I think the '75-'76 front end, with the squarer angles and rectangular headlights, looks better than the '74's rounder angles and round headlights look, especially after the rear end restyling for '74; the '74 was decent looking, nonetheless) to almost anything made today, especially a fucking foreign make! Big Three all the way for me, thank you.
I drove a 75 Fleetwood series 75 sedan as a daily driver when it was 20 years old and 120,000 miles. Mostly reliable. Timing chain failed. 12 mpg city with 500 CID engine.
In 94 I had a 74. That thing was a TANK! Long and heavy but floated on the highway like a dream.

Looks like it comes right out of a museum.
1976 WAS THE FINAL YEAR FOR THE BIG GIGANTIC LANDYACHT CADILLACS
Yes. 1971-1976 C and D body, replaced with 1977-1992 body, several hundred pounds lighter.
Nice video buddy!
Cadillac 74... more than ever america's number one luxury car
Looks new. I miss cars like this. I hate all the electronics in cars today. I love the cloth seats, I forgot the name Caddy gave that material,
Amazing!
A fantastic highway cruiser!

😍 😍 😍
THE 1974- 1976 FLEETWOODS ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL
1974 is different in front, especially with round headlights. 75-76 has very minor differences.
Ain't she a beauty ...
ASMR
Is this a 1974 General Motors Cadillac Fleetwood Brough(h)am! Just curious!

Let me get in the garage
I can commit a crime to have it.
Masterpieces of the americans, that they no longer make them in this level nowdays...
