This has to be one of the most beautiful luxury cars from that period of time. Cadillac and Lincoln big sedans had nothing on the graceful, subtle lines of this beast, and the interior luxury was something to behold. In my opinion, this car was the most beautiful large luxury sedan we had in the US, and this example in this color combination was stunning! Thanks for posting this video
Most people I know would say i'm crazy, but this car is the most beautiful car ever made. Lincoln and Cadillac are nice cars, but they just can't compete with the style, class and over all beauty of the 1974&1975 Imperial LeBaron. I WANT ONE............BADLY!!!!
The big Chryslers of that era had quality control problems that big Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Cadillacs, Mercurys, and Lincolns did not have. Lincolns from the 1970s have the highest collectable value among those biggies, except Eldorado convertibles. My 1976 Town Car is an amazing machine. These Imperials/later New Yorkers do have beautiful styling and their 4-wheel disc brakes were class leading. My favorite is a 1960 Imperial Lebaron.
@@SpockvsMcCoy Imperial was the better built car Cadillac and Lincoln were nice cars but the doors wouldn't always line up and Imperial really inspected each ride
My dad had a two-door ‘75 LeBaron, and after Imperial went away, he followed up with a couple of 4-door New Yorker Broughams in different colors than this one, but with the vent windows. These were beautiful cars. I hope this one found a good home, a forever home!
Damn, I'm sorta speechless. Mopars used to be so nice. That 440 gurgle. The 727. The plush interior with power everything. The chrome and waterfall grille. Nice.
What a lovely, fine automobile! It has nice colors, great leather, a FOUR-door HARDTOP, and equipped with the optional VENT windows!! Hooray!! "Dear Santa, I've been a good boy this year......"
Imagine living close to this guy, Wow this choice and quality of his cars would be great. And I probably would have first chance to buy before anybody else. This Imperial is just gorgeous....nice quiet and peaceful place to.
I had a 1971 Imperial Le Baron fully loaded, what a cruiser that thing was, I liked and drove it more than my 69 Chevelle, Just a beautiful driving car.
My fourth car was a 1971 Imperial LeBaron four door, Tawny Gold Metallic, black top and tan leather interior, fully loaded with the rear heater/defroster and the computer controlled four wheel sure brake system! And everything worked at first! From 1982 to 1986! I miss it!
Thank you, nice ride! My parents had one when I was growing up....I can still remember spending the day Saturday washing and waxing all 3000 feet of this car (ok so exaggerating just a bit) just for the privilege of taking this beauty out for a cruise on a Saturday night. While all my friends had the "fast cars" as it turned out...the cruiser was the way to go. With comfortable seating for 6 and the 8 track/ FM stereo (with 4 speakers) it was party central... I miss that car to this day.
Beautiful car. Notice back then luxury cars unlike today's used thick quality carpet and padding and the seats were like sitting on a couch seat. The door panels also were luxuriously padded with beautiful leather and thick carpet accents in addition to quality chromed metal fixtures unlike today's cheap chromed plastic even on so called luxury cars.
Actually, it's infinitely BETTER THAN a Lambo. Lamborghinis are for inexplicably-affluent subhumans, whose brains have never progressed beyond what is normal for a 9-year-old human of average intelligence. For humans who're above-average, zipping-around making noise in a silly conveyance, is something which loses its appeal, somewhere around age five (if not sooner).
Absolutely perfect! This car is gorgeous and glad to see it 100% original - including the original 8track player. I love the loose cushion button-down seats.
My '77 New Yorker Brougham had these features! It was a QUALITY CAR that (used) would have lasted me TEN YEARS, but my "ex-wife" pounded it to CRAP in ONE YEAR because "it wasn't her color/brand"!
One of the best car sales videos - no wind rush, no music, no background noise and... What is most important, no salesman babble! Very good, keep on! And the car is awesome!
This car was expensive for its time costing a few dollars more than the deVille series Cadillac and the Standard model Lincoln Continental towncar. It was available with optional abs and airbags back in 1974!
They used the computer controlled four wheel sure brake system from 1971 to 1975, my '71 had them but, they never used airbags back then! Not that I know of! Only Mercedes had the airbags since 1971, I think!
Insanely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I know they made this one more year but this one's better because the '75's had catalytic converters. This puts Cadillac to shame!! Oh, by the way, no vent windows in '75. '74 is the last REAL Imperial.
What a spectacular and well preserved automobile. I still believe these are going to be appreciated some day. Nothing beats a huge American Luxo Mobile from the 70s.
Beautiful! Such a shame Chrysler is stopping production of the 300 as well. Ford, Chevy & Chrysler will no longer offer big sedans, only trucks & crossovers.
These cars were a steal at $7700 in '74 and $8800 in '75 vs Lincoln and Cadillac. Because they looked alot like lower priced models is why they were discontinued, but Chrysler was ahead of the curve with four wheel disc brakes and solid state ignition in the '74 models. They had more horsepower than the competition in both '74 and '75 (Keep in mind Cadillac used the 472 in the Fleetwood in '74 and the 500 in '75). I know Chrysler's quality was abysmal in the late '70s but really don't know about Imperial's quality that much. Plus, Imperials just looked nice. I'm a Lincoln person primarily and really like the 1975-78 Town Car/Town Coupe ('79 they discontinued the 460 so I wouldn't even consider those) but the Imperial is a close second. I'm just not a big fan the Fleetwoods from 1971-76, though I do like the 1977-79 models.
My dad proposed to my mom with 2 items...a diamond ring and a brand new 1974 Imperial LeBaron. Pops took heat for trading it for a 1981 Olds Custom diesel until the day he passed on 😂.
Shag carpet, seats that look like they were made by La-Z-Boy, a steel front bumper that looks like a battering ram, ash trays for everyone, plenty of room under the hood to work, and enough trunk space for a family of five. Ah, I miss the old cars of the 70s.
Who could not like a luxury boat like this? Mr. Exner would appreciate this car.

The Imperials were BEST! NO DOUBT HERE!
Beautiful inside and out look at those seats
The 74 and 75 Imperial's were one of the only cars to have platinum tip spark plugs and 4 wheel disc brakes as standard equipment!

The 1976 - 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham was virtually the same car.
Imperial LeBaron- I agree!

This car is wwwwaaayyy better looking than a Cadillac or Lincoln of that year. And probably just as reliable.

Grace & Substance 👍
Gorgeous car. American luxury at its finest. I would love one in this condition!
Couldn't agree more!

Yeah.... and plenty of room for lots of lovely ladies!!
The car appears to be flawless, and I love the color combination. I'd buy this in a second if I could. Wow. I'm in love.
I would get such a fine ride for myself, family, and friends.
5,000 pounds of rolling art.
Beautiful car.

Who needs a Lamborghini? This is good enough

Spoken like someone who can’t afford one. Ha ha- I'd love to have the Lamboghini and this Imperial; They’re both at the top of their class!
Apples and oranges
thanks good memories. my Dad had two Imperials
One heck a beautiful old land yacht you have there.

I’ll bet it’s like riding on a bath of oil.

Just the birds chirping! Or is that outside my house!
Luxury, room, and comfort in one
My farther-in-law had that exact model and year. I enjoyed riding in it; a great car it was.
I love the waterfall grill theme and the hidden headlamps.
I say old chap, looks as comfy as a feather bed on wheels, happy motoring!
Can't you just hear this car being described by John Gielgud?
absolutely beautiful imperial, beautiful leather pillow seats
It's a beauty. My grandfather had a blue 77 New Yorker that looked identical besides the color. It was huge.
Wish I had one just like it. Beautiful car!
Beautiful car got to love them big Chryslers
Imperials!
I had a '72 Newport Royal in that color, talk about land yachts! Loved them!
Like the sound of that exhaust!
Beautiful car!

One hell of a beautiful car!!!
Oooohhhhh Mamma!!! I want one of these, same color and everything!!!
Always liked these old boats, just reminded me of pure luxury & comfort!
'74 classic 👍
Great car & great color combo too.
Almost like they put it in the garage in '74 when the fuel crisis kept 440 5200lb beasts off the roads and forgot about it until now...
Beautiful classic car
Now that is a real car! Very beautiful! That thing is MINT!
What a spectacular and well preserved automobile.

work of art
It was such a fine luxury car.
Gorgeous car!
Omg immaculate, I definitely need to get the one of the ones I’ve been looking at
My Father had a 1967 I imperial ....the whole family would load up the car and travel...family of 5 and 2 Great Danes ..........
Just love those cars. . .
Gorgeous!!!!!! Nice color combination.
Sounds gorgeous
Best looking car ever.
I once knew a trailer park supervisor who had a very similar car.
Это невероятно! Фантастика👍
Tahitian Gold. I had a 2-door 74 Imp LeBaron in the same color combo. What a fantastic car.
Very clean car beautiful craftsmanship by Chrysler at this time
Beautiful! Such a shame Chrysler is stopping production of the 300 as well. Ford, Chevy & Chrysler will no longer offer big sedans, only trucks & crossovers.
Livingroom on wheels!! I had a 67 New Yorker in the same conditions!

Girth was still king of the hill, even when our lives were fast becoming a freak show!
Chrysler at it's finest.
I’m digging that color!
Nice car! Congrats!!!
Exceedingly good car!
AMERICAN Cars-AMERICAN Dream for us
Wonderful!
Absolutely gorgeous car.
Modern cars are soulless crap in comparison.
Luxury at its finest
Magnifique !!! J'adore !!!
2 in a row I watched that make me so sad to live in the NE with no garage. I swear I am moving.
Handsome car!
Looks roomy and comfy.
So clean
The actual color of this car was called “ Moon Dust Beige “
Even though the headlights are behind drop-down doors, it’s surprising that there is no bezel surrounding the sealed-beam lamps ....
Sweet sweet stuff
4 door sedan very very great car
Beautiful car.
a perfect boulevard cruiser
Looks Beautiful
All original
Like new condition. great
Una verdadera joya..!! ✨
Nice ride i had a 71 newyorker
CLEAN!!!
The most perfect example of this car!
My only gripe about the 74-75 Imperials was the redone door panels that did away with the Imperial signature storage compartment under the armrest.
...and also, they did away with the power vent windows and the rear roof pillar pillows too!
Pure class!
Lap of luxury.
I'd love to own one of these today,,better and safer then the crap and the smart cars that are built today
I just bought one from an auction this past weekend. Much looking forward to getting it shipped and on the road here 😁

Would be a shame to put a dent in that smooth bumper.
Walter Chrysler himself would be smiling right now
that's was truly luxury back in da days
Love these things 🤦♂️
Beautiful car NOTHING comes close
Immaculate!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
