If you want to move like an athlete, you need to train like an athlete. You can't just go to the gym and do a bro-split and expect to be able to jump into pick up basketball and move dynamically. Do better, train better.
In this video we help you learn what to do to optimize your training for athleticism. Check it out for the full breakdown! - Jak na to + styl
thats actually an amazing video without any bs. thanks dude
This is fantastic 🔥🔥🔥
But how should i incorporate everything in a weekly plan ?
Thanks alot
Another great content, Sam. Loving this approach into athletics and high performance context!! If is possible, bring more things about speed work :)
W'e've got a few videos planned for speed work! Anything specific you want covered?
@@CitizenAthletics Glad to know, Sam!!! Things like: how to start, how to incorporate into training session, progressions/regressions/types of exercices would be great. PS: You already gave some good directions in this video
Thanks
Thanks for this. Definitely subscribed
Appreciate you joining the community!

How would i incorporate this into a weekly session including my sport training (soccer). Do i do all of this in one day or split it up?
Thank you for another great video!
I don't know if it's because of my low quality built-in speakers, but the audio was very “imbalanced”. Music was louder than your voice in some segments. Voiceover was quieter than sound in the shots where you're talking directly to the camera, etc.
That aside, I really liked the video. Short and to the point!
Thanks for the feedback! You're right, we did have some issues with the sound quality due to mic malfunctioning when trying a new mic. Hopefully it's not an issue in the future!
I can't do sports no more because I've gotta do life work etc side hustling family my times gone but I do train like a athlete I prefer to have a decent amount of muscle and can run rather than be big and can't do much
I was used to training exactly like this but this is not health on long term (joints and ligaments) so at 48 yrs old I quit all of this and changed to bodyweight training only. Nowadays I am training 6 x week, playing bball 3 x week and no more joints pain or delay onset muscle soreness.
Actually, you might want to consider some of what he is recommending. Bodyweight training is okay, what are you doing to prepare for basketball? The things he is doing in this video prepares you for explosive, plyometric activities like basketball. If you're not doing this stuff, you're actually increasing your chance of injury.
Please help in order to make a plan to incorporate all this into my training
What will rep ranges and rest times look like?
I'd recommend u making a 3 day split we can do highly appreciate it
How tall are you? Subscribed.
Train like a boxer💀
Will this get me an aesthetic and athletic physique ?
Where does boxer have at least 20+ inch vertical
@@dennisroy1817I’m a boxer and I have a 30 inch vert
@@RunningBack_DE how do you train in the gym and why do you need 30 inches for boxing
@@dennisroy1817 i train plyometrics, and I also play football, and run track so that’s why I need a 30 inch vert.
how should i split this workout in 1 week
Is this useful for a soccer player?
i’m a wide receiver for football and a mid distance track runner my main race is probably the 800 but i’m very skinny 5’9 120 lbs and i wanna put on muscle that’s gonna help me and improve my track running performance but i’m so lost on splits to do, certain exercises and everything since i know i can’t train like a bodybuilder, if anyone recommends something i’d appreciate it a lot
Starting Strength + Accesories and Plyos
I’d probably dirty bulk if I was you
Working out is only 25 percent of the work, you have to eat a ton to put on size and muscle. I’m guessing your young so I’d take advantage of that and eat basically whatever and a lot of it. Try to avoid cake and chips and stuff like that but if you need to slam down some pb and j’s or chocolate milk do it! You’ll put on size fast if you do this.
Also make sure your getting enough protien and I REALLY recommend creatine. It’s up to you on that but it has made my recovery from being sore crucial.
@@tthugginitoutdirty bulking is never a good idea. The only possible scenario is if you DESPERATELY need to gain mass and don’t care if it is fat.
Take a couple months more, respect your body.
how many reps of everything, plyos and heavy lift, can I be athletic with training strength like doing 5 reps of heavy weight
thanks
Hope you enjoyed!
Anyone know what’s shoes he’s wearing?
