Today's preview video focuses on the upcoming Alaska Mesh by ORBX.
Welcome to Alaska! I have been excited about this release since I heard about it. Alaska is a great place for bush flying and exploring vast and beautiful landscapes. It is like nowhere else on Earth and is famous for its wide variety of coastal fjords, braided rivers, spectacular glaciers, alpine tundra, lake-dotted muskegs, and vast forests.
Alaska Mesh is a fully self-contained product with no changes made to the default mesh or any other files. With virtually no noticeable performance impact, each LOD is consistent without any blurring and minimal LOD morphing. The add-on releases on August 24th, 2021 and is priced at 12.99 AUD ($9.20).

You speak about better colours, but isn´t this Mesh addon not just about elevation data ?
was wondering too? should only affect shape of terrain.

1:04, 1:18 are big eyesores. 1:33 looks awesome!
Basic MSFS colors for Alaska look fake. They are wrong.
Sorry but this is rather misleading. These mesh addons add nothing more than an improved height map. It has nothing to do with colors or textures. Most of what you are commending in this video is actually just default flight sim.
@@PIEINTHESKYTOURS No worries mate. It goes to show how nice MFS does actually look in some ways.. Meshes for more precision make for a great compliment to the sim overall though.
In other simulator the diference in the orb addons is waooo 90% better. But in mfs2020 is not. The mesh is not all 90%. Mfs is good

@@johngisbourne7197 Other simulators like fsx if there was a lot of difference from an ORBX addons. But in mfs2020 the difference is very little. Alaskan mesh is 90% no different than regular mesh. Maybe 10% we see the diferences. It's very little. forgive my writing, I don't know much English😊
