some great suggestions there, sounds very rushed though, may be a 2ms extra pauses so you can breathe may make it sound more natural. I've found the gift card, but it doesn't seem to do anything on just flight, not even it's been used.
@@eddthirty4065 I'll check about the gift card. As for the breathes, we just cut a lot of them out, I do actually think a bit between sentences sometimes ahha.

Oh and one note: the USD gift cards are only usable in the US store, while the EUR gift cards are in the EU store. There's no way to change manually, so maybe that's way. I had an EU card (i think still unused) in my prev video btw :)

Genuinely surprised to see the amount of subscribers you have. I had this video recommended through the algorithm and based on the quality alone, assumed that you had at least 100k or more. The b-roll footage is all super clean and great, the editing it top notch, the audio is all leveled and sounds really good, everything here felt polished from start to finish. The ONLY gripe is a nitpick that someone else mentioned, the ending felt a bit abrupt. You've earned a sub, and as someone who's just getting into vatsim, I'm eager to see those videos.

FYI the Navigraph charts will also display in sim on the G1000, G3000 and GTN in cockpit screens - perfect for VR flyers / The freeware Ski Lifts package shown in your powerlines footage is also a must have if you fly in the mountiains.

quick correction regarding emergency situations on vatsim. As a (almost) daily vatsim user myself, I can say that emergency situations are not always appreciated. While they do try to simulate realistic atc, it very much depends on the atc controller if they have the energy and time to handle emergency situations. But otherwise if they have the time and energy for it they will gladly help you back safely on the ground
Generally speaking it's good manners to ask for emergency simulation. On IVAO we do it all the time, but we ask for permission first and the controller has every right to deny permission :)

damn wish i could give you more thumbs up, just getting into modding my msfs i fly vfr so ya some of these are super cool.
Good video. I have many of these add-ons. As a real-world pilot I do prefer pilotedge over vatsim since mainly Fly in the western u.s. I started out on vatsim. It's free and it's very good. However pilotedge in my opinion is the next level. It is so much more like real world ATC. But it is a payware service so for some this may not be an option.
Im planning to test it as well but i fly in EU so need to learn us ATC first anyways:)

Another addon I personally would reccomend is Little Navmap, its totally free and acts as a navigational tool and a detailed editor for your flightplans.

I was looking into the zinertek, is there another taxiway and runway enhancement for Xbox?
Imagine paying $30 for a community addon, to add screen shake that most people turn off, when it's usually a standard option in any game that puts you in perspective of what you're controlling to begin with.
Can you do a video on how you get such crisp and clear vr fottage? Whenever I try it always either laggy or low res
Hm good question. I was really wondering whether to do settings vids cuz I don't feel like I could add anything new to the convo. Honestly, I just have everything on ultra, 4090-i9-13900KF. Steam VR + Virtual Desktop with the Oculus and Steam VR + DP with the Reverb G2 I recently upgraded to :)

I seldom add free or paid stuff, outside of planes and helicopters. MSFS is moving so fast, in a future update they might update some scenery, weather or more stuff and my addons would be redundant or interfere.
Yeah makes sense. But these small scenery addons for example, theyve been oit for a while but never replaced by asobo. There are stuff that’s just not worth it imo, like the rex weather addon

Great info! But… Please, refrain from editing out every natural pause in your narration (audio). Those pauses (punctuation, breathing etc.) are essential (!) for a listener to make sense of all the details - details YOU know, but we as viewers may not (why we watch, right?).
Pauses are boring for the creator - but essential for understanding what you create. Don’t let that FOMO feeling overshadow your good intentions… 👍

Usually Just Flight for the paid ones, Flightsim.to for the free ones :)
Where to download them? Most of the paid ones are in FL2020 data manager itself in the shop? Or 3rd party sites that provide the software? Does 3rd party software always need to be in community or if you get an addon or I am looking for de 737-800 to buy. Does it has its own download path like thr Flybywire A32NX you install it and it installs the plane automatically in your commodity?
And why are some planes soo Expensive like the PMG 737 planes you don't have all the 737's with 1 time paying but for every version thr little shorter -700 or stretched-900. Apart from a plane few meters difference why should you pay soo much for the 2 planes between the 737-8? One plane like the 737 cost you already more than a new game for the PC or next gen consoles.
I still don't understand that after paying €120 what is a lot for a game they don't have even something like a 737. They have the A320, however you should expect and get a near to study level A320 and 737-800 for free. And if Flightsim was not able to build 1 properly 737 why didn't they buy the rights of distributing this plane especially for premium players because what did I exactly get more for paying double the price. A shitty 787? I absolutely expected Microsoft to release after 3 years much more planes especially Airliners because there is not much choice. If you release a 747 what is as for a beginner in 2020 very hard to fly, why don't start in a 737NG or MAX.

But I can't exactly agree other than yes, this is an expensive hobby.
It's expensive for a game.
But for a simulator - it's not. Look at hourly rates at simulator rentals. Now obviously it's not the same, but again - way cheaper still.
For paywares - we are getting more and more indepth aircrafts, but none are as good as the Fenix A320 or PMDG, or Blacksquare King Air etc... but I don't have any problems with it.
With MSFS, I think, You're paying for the platform and some fun aircrafts to fly around in.
If you have a taste for it and know what you wanna do, you can get a way better, more specific aircraft for a not-super-high price.
If I take a look at something like the King Air Blacksquare plane. For that money, I already spent more time in that aircraft than in any games of similar price. Like Hogwarts Legacy was about 40-50 hours for me and it was more expensive.
So breaking down the costs, I don't think it's expensive and looking at something like DCS World - it's still pretty cheap.
However, it's a game with a lot of payware, none are necessary to enjoy almost study-level flights (like the free A320).
I think however they could've made a better pathway available for beginners to teach them GAs first, VFR then IFR basics, then turboprops, constandspeed vs fixed pitch, then regionals then airliners.
But oh well, then the youtubers would be out of a job :)
@@PYLT I agree that FL2020 is more a platform and I put most of my hours flying IFR A320NX A330 A330NEO as airlinere. Problem you finds yourself in is that you think you do everything good but then the G/S didn't pull the plane down in the G/S when appr. Is engaged.
Some complete strange way points and especially 3rd party addons don't communicatie always nice with this sim. So I am at a level that I can do certain things real good but some thing as a go around de 320 changes mode ManToga srs Go TK and won't get me back in the 10M pattern to the runway. There isn't a pattern already. Is stops on the runway. So what track does he follow?
Understanding everything you must begin at the basics and if you know how to completely fly your plane you are almost at pilot level.
Make sense. Did you try the same thing in the Fenix A320? It has been working fine for me, although admittedly I'm more of a GA flyer.
@@PYLT Didn't buy the Fenix because the FBW was good enough for me. You must be on another level to see te real differences when comparing those 2 and some say the 32NX is better. I would rather invest that money in the 737 and that will cost me some time to getting familiar with it. Where stands GA for in type games in English 😇
Navigraph might be about the cost of a netflix subscription but theres the thing, a movie subscription entertains the whole family. Cancelling it to entertain myself for a couple of hours a week is just too selfish to even consider.

The second im not sure about but should be good enough for low settings. MSFS is super taxing on systems so check some benchmarks before buying.

Wanna fly the Fenix A320? Or a simple, stock GA? Probably a good 20 fps difference.
And the game runs on 40-100 fps on high / ultra with a 4090 so 20 fps is a huge difference. (And dlss&vr etc… lot more with the 4090 but you get the idea)

I always thought that it's so sad that you have to add a lot of mods in this game to actually make it what it's supposed to be from the start. Also, the amount of default aircraft that are "playable" is really disappointing.
As much as I understand you, I don't necessarily agree. The game has a good variety of aircrafts to start with, some good airliners, some good GAs, some good helis, some good military ones. It's more of a platform for simming than a game at this point and it's being developed as that too. So for that I think it's great. Also, many of these mods are free or have a sort-of good free alternative.
But yeah, definitely not a one stop shop, so but I don't think it's being marketed as such.

@@PYLT Definitely a lot of aircraft, but what I meant by playable was the level of realism you get for them. To be honest, haven't played with all of the aircraft in the game, but as far as I have, again, disappointing.
I agree with the "platform" you were talking about. The game offers the "bare-bones" of what a flight simulator would look / be like, but is heavily reliant on community and 3rd parties.
Yes, but looking at games like Skyrim, i think its a good thing. Sure, for the money you don’t get 100-1000s of hours of enjoyment, you’d have to spend for that on paywares - but then you dont get that much from other games too.
Plus it being a platform, theres a future for it and potential for longevity

If youre on vatsim / ivao you get a TCAS and “proper” multiplayer, at least thats what we do. But yeah, would be nice if you could selfhost

vatsim takes so long to learn, it's not really an "addon", it's changing how you fly in (any) flight sim.
For me yes I have been bored with it for months… I haven’t played since SU11. I’m bored with the fact the AI traffic is lacking/nonexistent, the horrible default ATC, the horrible live weather that never works for me… it’s just not fun to be at a major airport and I’m the only airplane there. And I have zero interest in VATSIM. Lol
Yeah but then the sim is probably not for you :) There is a solution to almost everything you wrote, part of it is VATSIM / IVAO, but if that's not something you're into there are traffic addons, weather addons, ATC addons like Pilot2ATC and more.
Also the last part, that could be just your "ground aircraft density" setting :)
@@PYLT Oh I know, I was using FSLTL for awhile and even they ran into issues with their add on because of the base MSFS. Usually if I fly I use ProATC. So that clears that issue up lol.

You don't need precise placing of taxi signs on VATSIM just use the airport charts 🤭😅

There's minimal compression on the voice, just to even stuff out, but we'll keep that in mind next time :)
